Saint & Holly
Holly doesn't let her two waitressing jobs, grabby customers, or her shabby apartment on the rough side of the city get her down, but when she meets a grouchy silver fox with Santa Claus vibes, who can really blame her for wanting to sit in his lap and tell him what she wants for Christmas?
Saint isn't taking retirement well. Lonely and bored for far too long, maybe what he needs is a distraction. As luck would have it, the new waitress at his favorite hole-in-the-wall diner is in desperate need of a daddy to do just that.

Who the fuck made this beautiful woman think she was anything less than something to be cherished?
Saint and Holly what names! Hahaha. Very Christmassy. Anyways, the whole Saint Nicholas thing didn’t really add much to the story it could have been taken out but the story itself was pretty good. Very Christmas themed. Very Cinderella themed. It was actually perfect for the whole Daddy + Bratty Baby thing they had going on. I actually really liked these two and all of her friends. I also hated her family!!! So the author did a really good job. I actually wish there was more to it, it felt like a short Christmas novella……. Uhm, I just realized that’s what it was. Hahahaha. No wonder it was so short. I wanted more! It was full of spice and family drama. Which again, I wish I knew more about. I feel like the evil stepmom had a reason to hate her. And the dad!! What was up with him! I’m so glad this girl found her Christmas miracle.

Most of my dislike of this book revolves around Holly's family, not the actual romance side of things.
The Santa themes are a bit odd for me. It doesn't add much value to the story for me. It is subtle enough not to really detract from the story either. Saint as a grumpy Santa is definitely interesting though. Just a nice twist on the jolly old man idea. And he works really well with Holly.
Holly is a perfect slightly bratty super sweet foil for Saint. She's funny, self reliant (mostly) and creative. She picks her circle with an oddly insightful magic of her own, realizing the dealers on her doorstep are by far safer than some of the supposedly upstanding people from the rich neighborhood. She doesn't make good choices regarding her supposed family though. This theme of self reliant grown women not cutting ties from their abusive family gets old real quick for me. Pfft. Women, men, anyone along the way - cut ties with the useless and abusive; you're more important than fabricated links like bloodlines.
It's a relatively short book, slightly lighter on the relationship building than I would like. It is a pretty solid spice win though. The humor is decent, the pacing is relatively fast but in a good way, and the editing is quite good. All in all, if you're looking for an adultier holiday book, it's a decent one to grab but not quite my favorite.

This is a short and sweet story about Saint and Holly.
Holly has work for so hard for so long hasn’t got time for a boyfriend that she has neglected basic human needs of touch and cuddling until she meets Saint.
She meets him first at the late night diner she’s working it and she gives him more attention to get better tips even though she knew he’d be a good tipper anyway.His beard and his voice make her toes curl.
Saint isn’t as jolly anymore, he feels he’s obsolete in his prime until he meets Holly.
“Got a name pretty baby?”
When she gets hassled at work Saint intervenes to stop her from being harassed. Saint thinks she deserves a lot more than what she has especially where she lives.
He wants to keep her, he’s protective of her.
“You belong to me. You’re mine”
Holly never felt she belong to anyone her family treats her badly especially when she says to Saint
“Will you be my Daddy” 🥵
This is the first book I’ve read by @herabest it’s short and sweet and a perfect read over the holiday season.

Ho ho ho this was DELICIOUS! 🤤 This holiday novella packs a HUGE punch! I adored their insta connection and how all-in Saint was! Saint is such a fun character! His mix of grumpiness and desire to spoil Holly is so drool-worthy! Holly is adorable! I want to be her friend!
Their steam is SO fun (and plentiful)! I really enjoyed the Daddy/Brat dynamic! This is such a fun read to mix in with your holiday reading lists! I devoured this in one sitting (at 3 in the morning- I could not put it down).

Santa meets his baby girl, hot and spicy, this one knocked my stockings off!!
I saw this cover and stopped dead in my tracks, I had to read this book!! I'm not a big Santa Claus fan but holy smokes Saint isn't any Santa Claus I have every heard of. All for the better in my opinion. Check out this story even if you aren't a holiday fan, the spice is on point and the brat/daddy talk is thigh clenching!

Delightful steamy holiday read
This was an amazing holiday novella, full of character and spice. Hera did an amazing job packing so much into a short amount of pages. If you're looking for a fast, steamy story to read next to your Christmas tree with a glass of wine, this is it.
