This book completely captured my heart from beginning to end. The story is beautifully written, emotional, and deeply thought-provoking. I loved how it explored love, memory, and what it truly means to hold onto someone. The characters felt so real, and their connection stayed with me long after I finished reading. It’s the kind of book that makes you reflect on your own life while still pulling you into a powerful story. Absolutely unforgettable—I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something meaningful and moving.

I fell in love with this book! I'm not usually one to leave a review but I had to because this book is seriously SO good! Evia Charmaine isn't a well known author yet, but she is seriously underrated! Her writing style is one of the best I've encountered in the last few years! The main character, Olivia, is so relatable and her love interest, Ander, is soooo cuuuteee! It's a slow burn romance and it's the perfect cozy summer book! I would 1000/10 recommend🫶🫶 if you're looking for a no spice, adorable romance, look no further! Add it to your TBR right now!

This was one heck of a debut novel! The writer is clearly meant to be an author! I can’t wait to read more from her! I rated this a 3 because there were times things felt repetitive but I couldn’t tell if it was purposeful since the FMC has periodic amnesia or if it was just from being a new writer.
The characters were very lovable and they both were going through their own issues that made you really feel for them. While I didn’t feel there was much depth, the intention was definitely there.
I’m extremely impressed with the writing. It’s very strong and I can tell this author will go far. Personally, I just rated it a tad lower because I felt like the storyline dragged at times and I was looking for a bit more action but I also I stand with the FMC’s illness that maybe it wasn’t appropriate to really have much going on while there was already the big question of “will she remember things?”
All in all I loved the story. Evia should be so proud of her self and I’m really happy I came across this book:)

I never thought the day would come where I would enjoy a contemporary romance, but here we are. I’m an avid fantasy read who has read some contemporary romances in the past and have found alot of them to be the repetitive and unengaging. But End. By Evia Charmaine did something that alot of books failed to do-- keep me enthralled. The book was slower pace than the fantasy books I normally read are, yet the way Evia handled the pacing made me actually fly through the book instead of getting bored and slowing down. Her writing style was beautiful and really made me feel like I was involved in the story itself. Not to mention the characters.
The story of End. was simple and I liked that about it. The simplicity allowed me to really focus on the characters and their inner struggles. Olivia Astor is one of the main characters of End. She is a girl who suffers from Chronomnesia, a condition where the patient loses their memories in a set amount of time. For Oliva, her time begins with a year (a year until she loses all her memories) and slowly it drifts to less than six months. Due to her amnesia Olivia sees the world through awestricken eyes. Everything is new to her, even her family. The other main character is Olivia’s love interest who is named Ander Barlow who suffers from PTSD after nearly being in a plane crash. Throughout the story Ander has nightmares of being stuck in a plane crash and struggles with even viewing airports. In alot of romances I’ve read in the past, the male main character is usually a brooding tough guy who would burn the world for the main female character. But Ander is completely different. He’s kind and hardworking and helps others. He cares about Olivia and even changes his life so he can be with her more. The two, though different, suit each other in so many ways. I especially love Evia’s idea of the main characters “Ends.” Olivia’s End is her amnesia and Ander’s is his PTSD from the almost plane crash. There’s just something wonderful about seeing Olivia and Ander interacting together. In the end, they both change and help each other grow.
Everything about this book was wonderful. If you want a clean and wholesome romance book, this one is for you.

This was the sweetest story about first love I have ever read. Olivia and Ander were wonderful characters with amazing depth. I was immediately intrigued by Olivia’s condition and felt deep empathy and love for her. Then Ander? Oh, my goodness. He was genuine and kind and I loved him because he was taking good care of Olivia, this character who I cared so much about.
One of the things that I enjoyed most was how the story made me stop and think about the things I take for granted. By the end, I had the butterflies, the goosebumps, the giddy feelings, watching two teens on the edge of adulthood experiencing for the first time what it means—what it feels like—to be in love. It stirred up so many memories of my own first love!
One of my favorite parts: “…The average person lives over seventy years…But even if you had just six months…you could do everything with that time. You could make every moment worth the pain it costs.”
This story was a beautiful portrayal of the beauty of life—even with its heartaches, losses and pain. Without those things we can’t fully appreciate the joy, peace and relationships we are blessed to have. Nothing is wasted when we embrace life, especially the messy parts. THAT is what Olivia and Ander’s story is about and it resonated so deeply with me.
This heartwarming story reminded me that we can fall in love for the first time over and over again when we pause to remember the things that matter most and the reasons we fell in love in the first place.
I highly recommend this beautiful book. Adults and teens will both love this story so much.

Firstly, the author is genius here -> a book where you’re threatened to forget the very one you love (and that you love him)??
But what really sold me was the tenderness of the text. Between the cutest little moments like paper airplanes and writing notes on their windows, I was rooting for the fmc and mmc the whole way ☀️🫶
There were moments I wanted to kick my feet, and I most definitely covered my mouth from smiling at how adorable (and thoughtful) this couple was).
All of the characters were beautifully developed, and I loved their dynamics!!
The sisterhood was such a breath of fresh air in a world that hardly ever shows the positives of having close siblings (and honestly it left me craving to strengthen the relationship around me 🥹)
I honestly felt like I had been welcomed into the most charming neighborhood, and I love that!
If you’re looking for a book that makes your heart feel all the feels, leaves you rooting for all of the characters, and makes you with a sweet romance (without feeling icky)- then I absolutely recommend this book!!
My only regret is that I’ll never read this book for the first time again 😔✈️

End by Evia Charmaine was a beautiful story of young love, and how love can overcome anything. Although the undertone was a bit sad, it did leave me smiling many times. This was the author's debut novel, and I thought she did a wonderful job. This is the exact type of book I would have loved so much when I was a teenager. She definitely has a gift for writing young adult books. There’s something very gentle and intentional about the way the story unfolds.
The story follows a boy who falls for the girl next door, except her life is complicated by a condition that gives her amnesia every few months. Although the story is sweet and at it's core, about first love, it does give it a sadness that is always there in the background.
I loved the dual POV, making their connection feel deeper and more real. They're both dealing with their own person struggles, and I love how they were a comfort to each other during their most difficult times.
The story did seem a bit slow at times, but I actually like that it didn't feel the need to be action packed. It felt like real life. This story didn't contain any spice.. just a few sweet kisses.

I absolutely binged this book!! It had me staying up late, and picking it up whenever I had a free moment!
The characters, the emotional depth, the sweet romance and sisterhood, everything was so amazing!!! Very well written!! I could easily visualize the scenes and the summer vibes were so good!!
There were both chronic illness and PTSD reps and were described very well. As someone with chronic illness, I could relate to some of what Olivia deals with, and I love reading books that include it.

This book was so lovely! The beginning drew me in and though the middle was not as fast paced as I was used to (I’m a fantasy/thriller reader too) it still kept me going and I had to know how it ended! And the End… oh the End was not what I was expecting. Evia, this was great! Thank you for sharing with me!!!

This is a refreshing new take on a teen romance with the complication of a rare health condition. Olivia and Ander find each other when they need each other most. With the witty writing style, I look forward to more books to come from this author.

Love this book! It starts with an engaging beginning and ends with a plot twist! I highly recommend this book for its little details and fun descriptions! I love how Olivia perseveres through her amnesia in order to be with the one she loves.

Such a fun read that was not only a form of relaxing entertainment but also offers so much food for thought and life lessons that anyone could learn from. The characters are relatable and I found the ending to be very satisfying. Would recommend!

I'm not very interested in romance, but this one was a blast! It was intense, like the dreams of Ander having a plane crash, but also romantic. I would love to hear what comes next from this author!

If you’re looking for a sweet, clean, heartwarming story—look no further!! I don’t usually leave reviews but I loved this book. My sister and I read it together really quickly and fell in love with the story and with the characters (especially ander lol). Evia is a newer author but she is so talented!! This is the kind of book you could curl up on the couch under a blanket with a cup of cocoa and read in blissful pleasure for hours ;) cutest book ever!!
