This review is for an early release of the book, accessed via O'Reilly Learning Platform.

This gave me the best holistic view I've found of how the various Azure AI components fit together to deliver solutions. It also includes an reasonable introduction to the theory and relates that to what the Azure products offer.

The book has issues you would expect to find with a pre release book. They weren't significant enough to impact comprehension of the material.

I'm hoping the final version will lean in more and provide greater detail about the products, capabilities and examples across all the chapters. The agentic and foundry sections included some detail and reflected the product releases from late last year, but I believe the material was lighter because it changed so recently. It would also be good to see more concrete detail/examples about the evaluation and safety/guard rail topics.

Looking forward to seeing the final version.
