Wow just wow! This story blew me away. It was so beautiful and powerful. It's so unlike anything I've read before, I love that. For someone who reads 300+ books a year that's so hard to find. I really couldn't put this book down. Seriously absolutely brilliant. If I could give this book more stars I would.

Ollie and Birdie are both born on the same day, leap year. Every four years on their leap year birthday something truly magical and strange happens to them, they switch places! Ollie wakes up in Birdie's body and Birdie wakes up in Ollie's body. What is fate trying to tell them and will they ever stop switching places?

I adored the characters in this book! Oh my gosh I rooted for them, I was frustrated for them, I cried for them. All the feels.

I fell in love with Ollie and Birdie's love story. Their love was magical and you could feel how much they cared and how much they belonged together. The chemistry between them leapt from the pages as well. I'm used to more spice and I can tell you I didn't miss it at all. The way they loved each other was so beautiful no spice was even needed to add to the story.

Ollie is such a sweetheart and I loved him so much. He will forever be a favourite character I remember. There was just something special about him, maybe it was his unmoving devotion to hold on to the girl. Something we all want really.

Birdie was such a character I loved her spirit and sense of humor. She may have been damaged from her childhood but she never became like them she was so good and kind. I think a lot of that was because of Ollie and his mom too.

Max was another character I just absolutely adored and I hope he gets his own book. He was charming and so witty. I felt like he was so essential to the story too.

I really liked how easy the story was to follow. I know for myself when books often go back and forth referencing the past I get lost and confused sometimes. With this book how she had it structured in a sort of repeating pattern helped so much! I was so impressed with this book and how well it was written. The structure, the flow, plot and everything. For a first book it is extremely impressive and she should be so proud of this!

Definitely add this book to your TBR as I highly recommend this unique and heartwarming book. This one will be going on my top favourites this year and staying there.
