Are you looking for a Spicy Romance Book gift for yourself or perhaps something to read on Christmas Eve while everyone is in bed? I’m going to say Estelle Pettersen’s His Wicked Seduction is a Christmas story, as Bruce Willis’s Die Hard is one as well. His Wicked Seduction does have scenes set during this holiday, but it’s not central to the story.

If you’re looking for a story that is high in spice and will hook you from the start—especially with the spice—then His Wicked Seduction is where it’s at. As soon as Vera and Scotty meet, it is spice, spice, and more spice. And it was the good kind, too. Communication was key between the two of them, and I appreciated this message in the story. I was pleasantly surprised that the story shifted and became quite angsty and dark, with some action, too. There were some darker themes involving captivity, mafia ties, and unaliving that were woven into the plot.

I liked how trust was a recurring theme throughout the story, whether it was about shmexual wants and needs or emotional trust. But overall, Estelle Pettersen had me go through just about every emotion from beginning to the end. I cheered on characters, hated on some, teared up with one, and was surprised with some others. A book that is definitely worth reading.

The many layers of Her Wicked Seduction! 😈 Alistair is a good example of a morally gray antihero; Saira represents a villainess who is more than just a petty woman scorned. Erin is the perfect lackey who lacks basic sense and is driven by pure spite, and my girl Vera, a goddess who dared to love, got burned and not only survived, but she rose like the mfing phoenix! 🦅🔥

The writing was phenomenal and played with my emotions with precise savagery! ⚔️ This book isn't for everyone; if vanilla is your thing, please keep scrolling. This is a delicious dish of DARK ROMANCE 🍽️ that twists and bends you to its will. The things both the Richland siblings have been through because of Saira (read the first book, Lessons on Seduction) are just diabolical. 😈

For most of the story, I just wanted to slap Alistair 👋, but as he develops, there is more to this broken manwhore, and it's quite devastating. 💔

This is not your typical rich bad boy and poor sassy girl; nah, there is soooo much more depth that is beautiful destruction and sweet victory. 🏆

Overall, this was a very good "bad boy" story that satisfied my dark romance needs. 🌑💋

Her Wicked Seduction by Estelle Pettersen has an interesting plot. It tells the story that was told in Lessons in Seduction from a different perspective. Julian's sister and Sapphire's best friend, Vera, tells her story which includes much of the plot from the previous book. It is interesting seeing what happens from her perspective and the perspective of Alastair, the ex-husband of Saira, who was Julian's previous lover. Saira is rich and mafia connected. She goes after what she wants any way it takes. She is now after revenge. The plot and machinations are interesting. Feeling a connection to the characters was difficult for me. They did get a happy ending and the book is set up for another story about Saira's brother who had disappeared because he feared for his life. An interesting story.

After reading Lessons on Seduction, I couldn’t wait to delve into the lives of some of the secondary characters, especially Saira Quinn, and to see how Sapphire was getting on with Julian. This time, we have Julian’s sister, Vera, and love interest, Alex, who happens to be Saira’s ex-husband! Scandalous twists kept me interested until the very end. It couldn’t have been juicier, sexier or bolder. I loved the ruthlessness of Saira, the strength of Vera, and Alex’s flawed character, despite his complicated past. If you like drama, tension and steamy romps, look no further. I look forward to the next one!

Read book one and been following the author on social. Glad Vera finally got her story. I still liked Julian (Vera’s brother) from book one more than Alistair, but stuff clicked into place as I kept reading, why they are the way they are. New villains and the old one messing things up again. It’s a 4.5 for me but I’ll bump it to a 5. Writing’s solid.

This book has a lot of interesting characters and a whole ton of drama. It was almost too much in moments but those toxic family events run deep! I liked the character development for Alastair and Vera especially at the start of the book! She is fierce.

What sort of disgusting pathetic love story was this. They like each other, but sleep with others, the FMC goes through something traumatizing because of the MC's bullshit and one sex and it's all dandy. The MC is heartbroken due to the breakup (heaven knows how there was a breakup when there wasn't a relationship in the first place) and then goes to have a fiance. The author disgusted me , this idea of love is beyond despicable, and I hate myself for giving this author a chance.

5 Flame Romance! I was excited to dive back into the world of the Seduction series and get Vera's story. Alistair is a worthy partner and their romance is heartfelt, hungry, and hot. The story starts with a bang and never lets up, keeping me turning the pages until the very satisfying HEA. There's a cast of side characters I want stories from!

This book sent my emotions all over the place. Smut, drama, BDSM, kinky chaos, and characters who feel real. I tore through it in one sitting. Call it a guilty pleasure or whatever you want. The heroine’s IDGAF stance, the bad boy is wicked, they’re flawed. Great pick if you’re into erotica or spicy romance that burns.
