My favorite page is the one with Santa coming down the chimney with the cookies and milk! It reminded momma that we had to leave cookies and milk out for Santa!!
Not too much going on here as far as plot, but the touch-and-feel aspects are well imagined. I liked them inclusion of Velcro as a stand in for the scratchiness of a genuine Christmas tree and the fact that the final spread offers readers a chance to pet Splat's belly is perfect.
we love Splat the cat! Fun book for the kids. It is a touch and feel board book and it is one of the better I've come across. I love touch and feel books and so do the kids, so great for sensory development. The kids liked the story but they loved that they could play with the book too.
Not much of a plot, but preschoolers will enjoy the bright and shiny textures of this touch-and-feel board book. This will appeal to toddlers who already know about Splat.
This is about Splat the Cat and his countdown until Christmas. He has the help of his family decorating the tree and making fun decorations for Christmas. I would recommend this for any collection owning others about Splat the Cat. It would work well in any collection as a browsing title. The illustrations are cute and the characters are fun.
