He swore an oath to hate me... but then we fell in love.
For generations, the Capuletis and Montgomerys have been at war, and Rome has never let me forget it. Not until an anonymous pen pal assignment during our senior year has us breaking every damn rule set in place.
But my illicit affair with the tattooed billionaire I’ve hated my entire life ends as quickly as it began, and Rome and I return to being enemies once more.
Now, years later, I’ve done my best to avoid him, except for those unavoidable social gatherings, where we continue to taunt each other with relentless jabs and unnecessary pranks. But when one of my ‘jokes’ goes a step too far and nearly destroys Rome’s reputation, he demands payment from me in a way I never expect. When the time comes for him to collect, he’s dragging me right back to where it all started between us—within the same four walls.
Unfortunately for me, these walls are haunted, and I can’t look at or exist around him without slipping back into our old ways.
For reasons I can’t understand, he makes me feel it all: passion, love… hate.
Just like our families before us, Rome and I were born to despise one another.
But is my hate true… or is it all a lie I tell myself to keep from falling back in love with the enemy?
***From Rome, With Hate is a delicious billionaire, enemies to lovers, forbidden romance. It is the fourth and final book in the NYC Billionaires series. While each book in the series can be read as a standalone, it is recommended you read From Rome, With Hate last, as other characters in the series make an appearance in this epic conclusion.

Thank you to the author for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
3.5
I lovedddd these characters. They felt so incredibly real, and I think Brittany Taylor has such an incredible talent with humanizing them. This book is so incredibly emotional and character driven, and I ATE it up.
One drawback is the "big bad" - it all concludes very anticlimatically, with the MC's getting little to no pagetime actively working to fix the problem they are both facing. It's not action packed at all. But, personally, I didn't entirely mind it just because I did love the character's conversations with one another, but it was a bit unexpected. Because of the conflict being a central part to why Rome and Julianna are thrown back together I had bigger expectations for how that would play out.
But, my god, I loved Rome and Julianna. Even when they hated each other I could feel their connection. The lore drops that were sprinkled across the story were chef's kiss. Their communication made me so emotional, their individual grief for what has happened to each of them was done so well. I could read a second book of just these two characters. In fact, I wish this was so much longer just so I could spend more time with them!
Keep in mind, I did not read the other books in the series, but those characters seem to play just a minor role in this one, so I did not think it to be very neccessary to read them before this one. Would I have probably cared more about who these random couples were? Sure, probably. But I was so satisfied with R + J, and I loved the Romeo and Juliet callbacks that were featured in the story.
I’ve read many Romeo and Juliet retellings and many are not so original, but I loved the love letter aspect of this book and second chance angst. This book has a dual timeline which was written very well because they fit together perfectly and was not at all confusing. I loved the constant between their sweet childhood lovers era and their I hate you but also love you era in their 30s. This was enemies to lovers at its finest, the tension and the constant push and pull was pure perfection. I have two little things or complaints, if you want to call them that. First is why can’t authors of Romeo and Juliet retellings come up with more creative names? Even if you keep the last names fairly simsilar I’ve just seen so many Romes, Romanos, Juliette’s and Juliana’s. Second thing was the plot, I really enjoyed the romance aspect of it, I just wish there was more of non-romance plots. The angst and romance was great I just wish we got a little more billionaire drama or mafia centred plots as a sideliner. There was a big plot twist at the end which i loved so much, although i was truly a little traumatised. But I really enjoyed this book and definitely will take a look at the rest of this series give this a 4/5
From Rome, With Hate is the final book of the NYC Billionaires. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t sad about that, but Brittany gives us a sneak peek of what’s next at the end of the book. To say I’m excited is an understatement. Rome and Julianna’s story was my favorite of the four. Reading their story was an emotional experience especially with the flashbacks and seeing them then and now. This couple has been through a lot in the ten years they were separated. Feuding families, heartbreak, secrets and more couldn’t keep them apart. We get cameos from the past characters in the series which I love. Rome and Julianna’s chemistry is off the charts and some of those scenes were some of the hottest I’ve read. This series will hold a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to read what’s next from Brittany.
Rome and Julianna are constantly trying to outdo the other. They have been rivals since before they were born. With one school project, everything has changed (not going to spoil it). Rome decides to cash in Juilianna’s debt to him and make her come to his cottage so they can hideout from the target that is on their backs. I love a good one bed, tension is high between the characters romance with a chuck of suspense! This was such a great book. I absolutely loved this story- definitely a Romeo and Juliet spin to this book.
Julianna Capuleti has spent the last ten years as a shadow of the girl she used to be. Haunted by betrayal, loss, and a love she was never meant to have, she’s convinced herself that the life she once dreamed of, a husband, a family, a future built on love, is no longer possible. Instead, she exists in survival mode, masking her pain with distraction and refusing to look too closely at the wounds that never fully healed. At the center of all that pain is one man she can never escape, Rome Montgomery. Rome has spent years clawing his way out from under his father’s control, determined to build a life that’s his own. On the surface, he’s succeeded, creating his own empire and distancing himself from the legacy that once defined him. But there’s one thing he’s never been able to let go of, Julianna. Despite the hatred tied to their families’ long-standing rivalry, his feelings for her have never disappeared. Instead, they’ve twisted into something complicated, love, obsession, guilt, and a need to protect her, even from afar. Because even when he stayed away, he never really left. When a dangerous deal with the Irish Mafia goes wrong, Rome becomes the target of a deadly threat and Julianna is pulled into the crossfire. Knowing she’s now in danger because of him, Rome makes a drastic decision, he kidnaps her and takes her to a remote cabin in upstate New York, the one place where their past still lingers. Years ago, as high school seniors, Rome and Julianna fell deeply in love despite the impossible circumstances. The feud between the Capuleti and Montgomery families made their relationship dangerous from the start, but they were willing to fight for each other, until a tragic event tore them apart, leaving behind resentment, heartbreak, and unanswered questions. Now, forced back together, the tension between them is undeniable. Old feelings resurface quickly, blurring the line between hate and love once again. But being in close proximity doesn’t just reignite their passion, it forces them to confront the truth about what happened, the choices they made, and the pain they’ve both carried ever since. If they want any chance at a future, they’ll have to do the hardest thing of all, forgive each other.
Rome is a deeply complex and compelling MMC. His love for Julianna has never faded, even when he tried to bury it beneath anger and distance. The way he’s protected her from afar, watching, waiting, making sure she was safe, speaks to a devotion that never truly broke, even when everything else did. But his journey isn’t just about love, it’s about accountability. He must face the demons of his past, especially the role he played in the tragedy that separated them, and learn that love cannot survive without honesty. Julianna is equally powerful as an FMC. Her pain runs deep, shaped by loss, betrayal, and the belief that she was never chosen. She’s spent years numbing herself, convincing herself she doesn’t need the kind of love she once dreamed of. But beneath that hardened exterior is a woman who still longs for connection, for stability, and for something real. Letting Rome back into her life means risking everything, her heart, her trust, and the fragile sense of control she’s built over the years. Her journey is about learning that vulnerability isn’t weakness, and that healing requires facing the past instead of running from it.
In conclusion, I gave this book 5 stars because together, Rome and Julianna’s story is intense, emotional, and filled with tension. Their relationship walks the fine line between love and pain, showing how deeply intertwined the two can be when history, trauma, and passion collide. At its core, From Rome, With Hate is about forgiveness, survival, and second chances. It’s about two people who were torn apart by circumstances beyond their control, finding their way back to each other in the most dangerous of situations. But before they can have the future they once dreamed of, they must first survive the present, and the very real threat hunting them both. Because this time, it’s not just their hearts on the line, it’s their lives.
“You’re the love of my life…the loss of my life..and everything in between.”
I went into From Rome, With Hate fully expecting emotional chaos, and honestly? It delivered in every delicious, devastating way. I’ve been waiting for Rome and Julianna’s story since the very beginning of this series, and their Romeo-and-Juliet energy was everything I hoped for — star-crossed, aching, and threaded with a history that was always going to hurt. I knew their backstory would be brutal, but I was not prepared for just how deeply it would cut or how badly I’d want these two to find their way back to each other.
“You’ve always been in my life. Even when I thought I didn’t want you in my life, you were always there.”
Rome and Julianna were raised to be enemies, but a high school pen-pal assignment cracked open a door neither of them expected. Through letters, they saw past the family names, the expectations, the generational grudges — and they fell hard. Fast-forward ten years, and they insist they hate each other… but every sharp jab, every loaded stare, every moment they occupy the same space tells a different story. The chemistry between them is electric, simmering with all the things they never said and all the wounds they never healed. The question becomes: will they finally stop running long enough to face the truth of what happened between them?
“Without you, I can’t breathe. You’re my reason for breathing, Julianna Capuleti.”
These two absolutely shattered me. They were so young when everything fell apart, carrying pain they didn’t have the tools to process. Julianna’s instinct to run — to outrun grief, guilt, fear — made my heart ache, because you can feel how desperately she wants to protect herself. And Rome… Rome is the kind of character who sneaks up on you. His vulnerability, his willingness to lay his heart bare even after everything, made me want to wrap him in a hug and tell Julianna to just listen to him for one second. Their emotional messiness felt real, raw, and earned.
“I’ve always been yours, Rome. Through hate and love, I’ve always been yours.”
From Rome, With Hate is an angsty, gripping, beautifully emotional finale to this series. It ties everything together with heartbreak, longing, and a love that refuses to die, no matter how much damage has been done. It was everything I wanted for these characters — and honestly, I’m already hoping we’ll get glimpses of them again in what comes next.
I went into From Rome, with Hate expecting an angsty Romeo and Juliet retelling, and honestly? It delivered exactly the kind of easy, emotionally indulgent read I wanted.
This was one of those books I genuinely did not want to put down. The pacing made it so easy to fall into, and the dual timeline worked really well for me. I loved moving between Rome and Julianna’s childhood connection and the sharper, more bruised version of them in adulthood. There’s something very readable about watching two people who clearly still love each other trying very hard to pretend they don’t. The push and pull, the old wounds, the almost-but-not-quite moments — I ate it up.
The romance is definitely the strongest part of the book. Rome and Julianna’s connection felt believable, even when they were being impossible. I really liked the love letter element, and I thought the second-chance angst gave the story a lovely ache. It had that “just one more chapter” quality where you know you should probably put it down, but suddenly it’s an hour later and you’re still there, emotionally invested in two fictional people making questionable decisions.
That said, I did find some of the “hate” less convincing than the love. For an enemies-to-lovers / second-chance romance, I wanted a little more clarity around why the resentment had become so entrenched. Some of the conflict is explained, but not always deeply enough for me to fully believe the intensity of the hostility. At times it felt like the book told me they hated each other more than it showed me why that hate had survived for so long. The retelling elements were fun, but occasionally I wanted them to feel a bit more inventive.
I also would have liked a little more from the non-romance plot. The emotional core is strong, but the external conflict wrapped up more quietly than I expected. Given the set-up, I thought there might be a bit more drama, consequence, or active problem-solving from the main characters.
But honestly, these are more “I wanted more” complaints than “this didn’t work” complaints. I had a really good time with this. It was romantic, angsty, easy to read, and very hard to put down. Not perfect, but absolutely satisfying. I’m sad this is the last in the series!
Those letters and emails set a very nice and beautiful foundation for this book. Honestly, if the entire book had just been the writing and replying of letters between R & J, I would have still devoured it.
Rome and Jules' bond is just amazing. From the moment they became pen pals and without knowing who the other was, their gender or even their family background i already knew they were meant to be.
Though that did take a turn when the reveal of their identities overshadowed their forbidden undying love for each other.
They fell so hard and fast and it broke my heart because they couldn't express their love publicly especially at a young age.
They separated from each other only for fate to force them back together again.
Such a beautiful read. They both went through so much, and they deserved that happy ending. Their love is felt tragic but still so beautiful.
If you love enemies to lovers with forbidden love touch this book is for you!
𝕱𝖆𝖛 𝕼𝖚𝖔𝖙𝖊𝖘: ✨️“I love you, Lark.” ✨️“Lark, it’s your silence. Your silence is my ruin.” ✨️He couldn’t tell me he hated me, but he’s clearly happy that I still sing for him and only him. ✨️“It ends with me, Mamma. This hatred ends with me.” ✨️Loving Julianna is a risk, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take because I’ve never felt this connected to someone. Someone who sees me for me instead of the name attached to me. ✨️I may hate Rome, but it’s hard to deny how gorgeous he is.
From Rome, With Hate ( A NYC Billionaire’s Book 4 ) Well Brittany has officially wrecked me , just wrecked me in all the best ways and by the end all those shattered pieces of my heart were somehow put right back together again . I only have one question, how do you not fall in love with this absolutely amazing , Steamy and addictive series/ world that Brittany has so brilliantly created? . He we are on book 4 and the unforgettable conclusion to what has become one of my absolute favorite series !! I’m just utterly obsessed and equally in love with each couple and their journey !! . That being said, something about Julianna and Rome really had my heart , I just felt such a connection to both . I loved the chemistry between them but it was so much more than that . The things they went through both together and separately, just resonated with me in the most unexpected of ways. I loved how different they were yet how perfectly they complemented each other . The whole Enemies To Lovers and Hate to love aspect ( that right there had me devouring every single word . The progression of their relationship, all the different layers and complexities, the angst and the humor and the witty banter , the intrigue, the mystery and suspense, the family and friendships. I genuinely could not devour it fast enough, I literally felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster the whole way through. Smiling and laughing out loud one second then crying ugly tears and yelling so so hard the next . What never ever wavered though was how utterly invested I found myself in these two and how hard I cheered for them to find the happy ending they so desperately wanted wanted and clearly deserved.
"It isn't just your body that tortures me, Lark, it's your silence. Your silence is my ruin."
"You're the love of my life...the loss of my life...and everything in between." "You were worth every second."
For generations, the Capuletis and Montgomerys have hated one another, until an anonymous pen pal assignment during our senior year leads Rome and Julianna to break every rule. And so began an illicit affair that ended before it truly began. Ten years will pass before these former lovers will reunite, and this time, all bets are off.
From Rome, With Hate is the perfect enemies-to-lovers, star-crossed lovers romance filled with swoon, angst, and a whole lot of angst.
Now, I don't know about you guys, but I've been waiting to get my hands on Julianna's story, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. I mean, it delivers. Not only do the characters have intense chemistry, but their shared history and pain add a deeper layer to the story. Julianna and Rome's story is heartbreaking, beautiful, and, honestly, the perfect note to finish this series on.
From Rome, With Hate captivated me from the very first page and was everything I could have possibly asked for. And the way it ties up this series, but teases what's coming next...Chef's kiss 💋
If you're a fan of billionaire romances with star-crossed, enemies-to-lovers, miscommunication, and a second chance romance worth fighting for, you'll want to add this book to your tbr, asap.
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
Going into From Rome, With Hate I already knew that I love Brittany Taylor’s books so much and yes, this is only my second but dang it, they were so freaking good!!!! This one had me completely hooked from the first page with that intense enemies to lovers tension that just burns. I swear, don’t judge me… I’m sure Julianna and Rome were doing that enough for how much I was talking to my Kindle like I was part of the book. The generational feud, the secret pen pal twist, and that “we absolutely should not be doing this” energy had me spiraling in the best way. I loved how their relationship felt equal parts passion and chaos, like they were always one second away from either kissing or starting a war. And honestly, I ate up every single second of it. What really got me was how the story balances all that fiery hate with something deeper and way more vulnerable underneath. Watching Julianna and Rome circle each other again years later, still holding onto all that history, had me completely invested in whether they’d crash or finally give in. The tension in those forced close proximity moments? Unreal. I felt every look, every jab, every slip back into something that clearly never went away. And the way Rome makes her feel everything love, hate, confusion it just hits so hard because you know it’s real even when they’re fighting it. By the end, I was emotional, satisfied, and honestly not ready to let them go. If you love messy, passionate, forbidden romance with big feelings and even bigger stakes, this one will absolutely consume you like it did me.
Ever since this fourth installment was announced I wanted to read it and get more of this series! I picked it up and got right back into the NYC Billionaires world. I enjoyed this story so much!
Julianna and Rome's journey pulled me right in! These two and their families have been rivals for the longest time. Shared words between Rome and Julianna ignited so much more, but they have remained enemies. Is that all they can ever be?
Rome and Julianna had all of my attention from the start. I loved the fact that there was history between these two, especially the pen pals of it all. It's far from an easy journey for Julianna and Rome. I was so glad I got to dive into both of their minds and get all of their realness. With so much between them, my heart and I were waiting to see how everything would turn out for Julianna and Rome!
Rome and Julianna got under each other's and skin and to each other's hearts in so many ways. The back and forth between these two was so good! Julianna and Rome's chemistry and feelings all burned so bright between them. I went through a lot of emotions with these two for sure!
I very much enjoyed being back in the NYC Billionaires world!
With From Rome, With Hate, Brittany Taylor has created a great enemies to lovers romance and ending to this series! From the romeo and juliet vibes to the hate and love, Rome and Julianna's story had me feeling every bit! ❤

*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from the author*
This is one of the first times a book and couple have rendered me speechless, because of how beautiful and heart wrenching their story was 🥹 Rome and Julianna owned me from the second I noticed them and I needed them! Thank you so much, Brittany, for this ARC ❤️
Chapter 22 and 23 had me sobbing 😩
Julianna Capuleti 🧎♀️ She is an icon! This woman is feisty sunshine, with so much of hidden pain 😩 Her love and obsession for Rome, knows no bounds as does her hatred 😏 She banters so easily and her sassy, feisty side loves to come out when she sees him 😈 He's the only one to have ever made her feel happy, safe and content 🥹 Julianna is a flirt especially when it's the man she hates 😂 Her friendship with the girls is so frickin wholesome and cackle worthy 😎
Rome S Montgomery 🧎♀️ He is Italian Daddy!! He's intense, flirty, a hidden golden retriever, dominant, and so frickin hawt with a lot of hidden pain 😩 When I say he's obsessed with Julianna he is on his knees! No matter what he does, he always finds himself around her and wants it no other way 😈 He will do everything he can to keep her safe, even if it means facing their demons together 😩 His friendship with Marcus, had me giggling because they are like brothers 😎
The spice!! Brittany, I couldn't stop smirking and tucking my hair behind my ear, because it was kinky and so frickin intense 🧎♀️😈 You cannot give us that glimpse into that manand then say coming soon! 😩😩 You got me obsessed!!!
Oh Brittany, this series was a chef's kiss. From the first book, (From Asher, with Love) you had me captivated with these characters. Rome and Julianna had me interested from the start and you didn't disappoint with their story. Now, granted your books are not for the faint at heart, they have heartbreak, they have a story to tell, and you give us the most wonderful HEA.
Rome- is a dark and mysterious with a serious stick up his ass at times but that man knows his reasons why for being the way he is. He will do anything in his power to protect what he loves and in this case its Juliana. Secretly these two have had feelings for each other but it goes beyond that.
Juliana- is beautiful and adores her family. She has a princess feel to her but there is one person she hates and that is Rome. But could hate really to be what is deep inside her? There is a fine line between love and hate they say. Juliana comes with so much heartbreak as well as Rome, and they aren't much different from each other, and this hate their families have fought for years.
Overall, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this book. Rome and Julianna's story was sad and yet poetic in a way. I loved the little Romeo and Juliet aspects of it and how its mentioned in the book as well. Standing Ovation Brittany Taylor.
Wow, From Rome, With Hate will not just break your heart, but obliterate it and you’re never sure if it will be lived back together or not. Rome and Julianna have a past that is full of tragedies and will give Romeo and Juliet a run for their money. Rome and Julianna are pen pals on a school assignment that ends with these two - enemies because of their families for generations - starting journey that they ere never prepared for. Now years later, Rome is cashing in his favor from Julianna and she wants nothing to do with him. These two are the definition of a fine line between love and hate that you’re never sure which way they actually feel. With danger and threats against these two, they return to the last place she wants to be, but knows in the end he’ll finally give her want she’s wanted for years. The more time Rome and Julianna spend together the past keeps popping up and slowly, torturously finally facing it in pieces, the emotional devastation these two go through just guts you. Rome and Julianna make you want to root for them to figure out things and finally come to peace with their future, but it is one that has you on the edge of your seat and lost in the pages to get to the end to know what happens. Their story is one that breaks you and stays with you long after reading, what a conclusion to a series!
The NYC Billionaire series came to a stellar end with From Rome, With Hate. After getting little teases throughout the series, I have been waiting for this enemies-to-lovers, rival families story, and it was everything I wanted it to be!
I loved Rome and Julianna, and how a high school pen pal assignment began a torrid, forbidden love affair that spanned decades. So much of this story was Romeo & Juliet-coded, right down to the characters' names (Capuletis and Montgomerys, Rome + Julianna), and I ate it up. The story went back and forth between past chapters when they were teenagers, when a traumatic event tore them apart, to the present day, when Rome and Julianna are in their 30s, and her life is in danger because of a deal gone wrong with Rome and the Irish Mafia. To protect her, Rome kidnaps Julianna and whisks her off to his cabin, where they are forced to face all of those feelings that never really went away.
The constant push and pull between these characters had me engaged, and I loved how deep-rooted the history was between them. This story was a wonderful "it's always been you" — hard-earned, and full of ups and downs for Rome and Julianna to get there. Rome and Julianna's story was messy, emotionally chaotic, and devastatingly beautiful.
I received a complimentary copy and voluntarily left a review.
From Rome, With Hate is the perfect enemies-to-lovers, star-crossed lovers, billionaire romance, and second chance romance. I hadn't read the others in this series and it wasn't an issue as it can be read as standalone.
We have Rome Montgomery and Julianna Capuletis. Who have always hated each other. Then they get thrown into a pen pal assignment. From there they fell so hard and fast, not knowing each others identities and when that’s learned, it ended before it truly began.
They separated for 10 years from each other only for fate to force them back together again. The chemistry between them is a fire with all the things they never said and all the wounds that never fully healed. Their history and the pain that comes with it is heartbreaking. Julianna and Rome gravitating towards each other again years later, still holding onto all that love and hate, had me completely invested in whether they'd end or finally give in to that feeling.
I would definitely recommend this book.4/5

Rome, Julianna and a second chance neither saw coming
This forbidden, tragic but also beautiful romance follows Rome and Julianna. They are not supposed to fall in love with each other, do their families hate each other for generations. But how do you avoid falling in love? And so young Roma and young Julianna couldn’t help but do exactly that. But their first love was full of secrets, tragedies and a mistake that was not being cleared, it broke hearts. And over a decade later, Rome and Julianna do what they are supposed to, hating each other. Or at least think they do. When they are forced to spend time alone together old feelings and events are resurfaced and cleared. But that doesn’t help their whole story at all. With her friends and family hating him, how could they make it. But Julianna is headstrong and wants what her heart longs for for so long. With so much suspense, secrets, love and hate and a tragedy that will never fade. And someone out there who wants to avoid their happy end at all. A very well deserved happy end for the most deserving characters.
I'd like to start by noting I have not read any of the other books in this series. With that in mind, I felt this was an exceptional book to stand alone on it's own without making me feel lost without having read the previous books. The information provided and characters presented were done well that even a newbie to this series could pick this book up and enjoy it! The back and forth from past to present was really well timed, providing perfect snippets of history to keep the story progressing as you dive into Rome and Julietta's relationship. It was quick but never felt rushed, and sent my heart on a rollercoaster of love and depression the entire time.
SPOILER WARNINGS AHEAD
I'm not a fan of pregnancy tropes of any time, but within their story, the miscarriage was done extremely well to provide additional context and depth to their relationship and growth without feeling like the sole focus or excessive at any point. I'd honestly never thought I would be appreciative of a pregnancy trope context, but bravo Brittany for expertly crafting your characters' lives in a beautifully realistic way.
This has been my most anticipated book of the series and it certainly wrapped it up with a bang!
“You’re the love of my life…the loss of my life… and everything in between”
The heat between Rome and Julianna has been simmering all series and I’ve been dying for it to explode. Throughout the previous books we have known they are enemies but never found out much more about why they hate each other so much. The suspense has been killing me, but it’s been totally worth the wait!
Rome Montgomery, where do I start? This man is so mysterious and harsh on the outside but when it comes to Julianna he turns to mush. He is so protective and possessive of her and will move heaven and earth in the shadows to ensure her safety. He has never lost that love for her since they were teens and it’s down right heartbreaking.
“ I’m tired of hating my husband when all I’ve ever done is love him”
Julianna holds her own and I love that for her. But deep down she is just a broken soul. She has never been good enough for her father, all her friends are loved up and she is starting to feel alone in the world.
This has been one of my favourite Millionaire romance series and the best thing yet, we are getting another book!!!! Rhy’s O’Connell, I’ve been secretly hoping we get to see more of you, so thank you Brittany for bringing this to life, I can’t wait!!!
↓↓ Let me just start by saying, oh god, those letters 🥺
Rome and Julianna have been hinted at for so long in the other books of this feud and goodness was that feud accurate. My heart honestly hurt for them and everything their families put them through.
I devoured these two. I'll be honest, I went in to this not the biggest fans of Rome and Julianna but damn, by the end of the book, I absolutely loved these two.
They went through it, they really did. I wish things would have been a little easier for them but in the end I think for their relationship they needed a little bit of tension and animosity.
I really enjoyed watching them work things out and find the love they both deserved.
It's come to the end of the series and what a way to go out.
I devoured this ARC read! The Romeo and Juliet vibes sprinkled throughout made this story. The plot flowed and the only thing I wanted more of was Marcus to get a story 😂. Julianna was a contradiction of soft and hard. She was so guarded and at the same time so hopeful Rome would be different. Their banter was top tier. Rome was everything you’d want in a morally grey character. His choice to be better and do better for Julianna hit all the swoon spots. He was feral for her. This book hit ALL my favorite tropes; second chance, forced proximity, he would 💀 for her, and he worships her. Brittany had me guessing on some things and I was wrong. I love when I’m wrong and the author surprises me with the story. I would definitely recommend this book.
Fave Line: “I’ve always been yours, Rome. Through Hate and Love, I’ve always been yours.”
I have loved every single minute that I have spent in the NYC Billionaires series. Rome though, his story was by far my favorite. Maybe it's because he was last, but maybe because it's who he is. Rome just pulled me in and had me wanting to stick around until the very end, all while hoping that he might show up in future Brittany Taylor books. I can't help it I have fallen for this character.
Loved the history that Rome and Julianna share. I also have loved the way they've dug at each other throughout the years. The love has been there from the beginning, and they just had to get through some things (and grieve) to find their way back to each other. The little surprises that Brittany threw in there definitely caught me off guard but also made me understand the characters that much more.
Sad to see this series wrap up, but look forward to what Brittany writes next.
You know those series you read where each couple gets better and better and each book becomes your new favorite?! Rome and Julianna have absolutely blown me away. From start to finish there was not a dull moment (though there arent in any of these books). Julianna and Rome have been playing games with eachother for 10 years. Both of them hiding one hell of a secret. But when someone comes after Rome, he has to hide his Lark, to keep her safe. What better place to do that than his cabin. The cabin she remembers, fondly and bitterly! God I loved these 2 so so much! They go through every damn emotion between love and loath and hate. But there is always that fine line. This book is darker than Brittany has gone, but not a daaarrrrk romance, more like Diet Dark. It is perfect! 5⭐️ 3🌶
This is the first book I’ve read by Ms. Taylor! Getting thrown into the world of NYC billionaires was pretty fun. I did find that reading it as a standalone was a bit tough since I wasn’t as connected to the other characters as I thought I should be as a reader. Despite that, the loyalty and love between everyone was truly giving found family.
This is definitely an enemies to lovers story all the way through! It starts off with them being pen pals, and you don’t really know the full story until the very end when everything comes together. Julianna is a stubborn and fiercely loyal FMC. Rome is protective and totally obsessed MMC.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From Rome, with Hate by Brittany Taylor was an absolute masterpiece! Yes I say that a lot but this series right here!!!! It’s been nothing but perfection and I knew I’d love Rome and Julianna the most. What a fun twist on a modern classic in its own unique and beautifully tragic way. These characters hate to love each other and it’s chock full of tension and miscommunication 😉 I couldn’t put it down once I started, I was hooked in from page one! The drama throughout is top tier and the ending had my jaw on the floor because that’s not what I expected but so glad it ended with HEA 🫶🏻 I’m so sad this series is over but it ended perfectly and I’m so excited for what is next to come! so if you haven’t read this series yet WHAT ARE YOU DOING! It’s hot spicy billionaires 🤭
To say I was anxiously waiting for this book is an understatement, Rome & Juliana story was consuming me even before I read this book.
Rome & Juliana’s story was nothing like I thought it was deep, emotional, raw, and heartbreaking. Every time I thought I had all the pieces another plot twist came and crumbled everything. What a roller coaster of emotions with a beautiful ending.
Juliana surprised me in the best way, you see glimpses of her throughout the series, but when we finally get to know her you can see how much she has been through, how strong and resilient she truly is.
This book is emotional, heartbreaking, and beautiful, the spice is so well written and delicious.
This series will always have a special place in my heart! Loved it!
Rome and Julianna bring all the emotions and tension with this one! From the first encounter, the fire starts burning and does not stop. The emotional appeal in this book was top-notch as it had me all in my feelings.
Rome is the king of yearning. He’s been so down bad for Julianna since they were teenagers. Behind the disguised love, the heat burning between these two could’ve set the world on fire. This man stops at nothing to get his woman back.
Julianna is a spitfire at her core but full of love when it came to Rome. The banter and tension between these two had me on the edge of my seat. The journey back to each other was full of rip your heart out emotions, intense connection, and vulnerability. I loved every moment between these two.
This is a spicy billionaire / mafia romance that is full of tension and even some jaw dropping, completely unexpected twists (no spoilers!!).
I really enjoyed this read, and the cameos from the other characters in the series. You CAN read this as a standalone and you should! @authorbrittanytaylor did an excellent job with that angst and yearning that comes along with enemies to lovers.
From Rome, With Hate by Brittany Taylor is the last story in the NYC Billionaires series. It’s the story of Rome and Julianna. They started years ago…when things were…different. Her heart was broken and she’s been covering it with pain. Rome had his own issues to handle with his family and the expectations they had for him….so different from his own wants…
Now, things are different and the angst, turmoil, and heartbreak are back…and real…and neither is quite ready for that. This story tugged heavily on my heartstrings! So much left unsaid and unresolved…plus, a new set of issues to handle as well…loved it!!!
