What a refreshing read! This was such a fun time and I am now going back to book 1 to read Iris' story.
Londyn, Theo & Ollie are all at a house party...some punch gets thrown...a spell gets read and suddenly our 2 MMC twin brothers are turned into n1pple clamps and then when Londyn wears them they turn into these 2 burly hockey players.
I love me a why choose and I knew from the cover this was going to hit...the premise really intrigued me and I had the best time.

I honestly didn't know what to expect going into Clamps, but this book turned out to be such a creative and entertaining surprise. H. N. DeFore takes a completely unusual concept and turns it into a story that is equal parts wild, fun, romantic, and impossible not to keep reading. From the very beginning, I was hooked by the originality of the plot and the way the author brings such a strange idea to life.
Londyn, Theo, and Ollie's story is definitely unlike anything I've read before. The chaos begins at a house party when a little too much goes wrong, including a spell that changes everything. Somehow, Theo and Ollie, who are twin brothers, end up transformed into nipple clamps, and when Londyn wears them, they become two powerful hockey players. Yes, the premise sounds completely outrageous—but somehow it works perfectly. 😂🏒
I loved how H. N. DeFore embraced the uniqueness of the storyline instead of trying to make it feel ordinary. This is book two in the For Her Pleasure Series. It is not necessary to have read book one to enjoy this story. In this series five hockey players get accidentally on purpose changed into sex toys🤭
This books tone is waaaaay different from book one, but still has a heavy theme. Book one had a heavy DV/SA theme and healing from that. This book is lighter in tone. There is a theme of parental abuse, which does occur once in the book as a physical abuse and a few times as verbal/emotional abuse in the story. Make sure to check TW before reading.
The focus of this story is on Londyn a college FMC who is the brainier of the friends. She works two jobs one as a tutor and one at a sports store. She is very open and very certain of her sex life. She knows what she likes, wants, and isn’t ashamed of it.
She does have a toxic relationship with her mother and that’s where a lot of her drama comes from. Through her mother there is discussion of sexual violence, but none is portrayed in the story.
The twin MMC’s Ollie and Theo are hockey players who are familiar with Londyn because she tutors Ollie in math, but outside of that and parties they don’t seem to have any interaction with other outside of the puck bunnies.
Ollie and Theo are turned into clamps and though their existence as clamps is short lived because they figure out how to break the curse quickly. They are written as more than jocks. Sure, they’re not academically inclined like Londyn, but they do know how to treat people with respect and consent.
They are the safety net for Londyn to leave her toxic mother and live her life without being shamed for enjoy sex. They also explore more of Londyn’s sexual pleasure with her.
They are college age characters, so there is a lot of interpersonal drama and kind of a lot happening in their lives. We found this entertaining and the being turned into sex toys did make us giggle. In this story you learn who else has been turned into an object and which object.
There also seems to be something mysterious happen with a side character that we hope comes back up in book three.
If you want a short sentient object romance with lots of college drama and some hockey this is the series for you.

I don't think I've ever read a book with a premise quite like this... and that's exactly why I loved it.
Twin hockey players accidentally transformed into display clamps? It sounds completely ridiculous on paper, yet somehow H.N. Defore makes it work in the most entertaining way possible. From the very first chapter, I knew I was in for a wild ride, and the story never stopped surprising me.
What I enjoyed most was how unapologetically fun this book was. It fully embraces its quirky concept while still giving readers characters you genuinely care about. The humor felt natural, the chaos never let up, and I found myself smiling through so many scenes because I honestly had no idea what would happen next.
Londyn was a fantastic heroine. She's thrown into an impossible situation, yet instead of giving up, she rolls with the insanity the best she can. Between hiding two cursed hockey players, dealing with her overprotective mother, and trying to figure out how to break the curse, her life quickly spirals into complete mayhem. Watching her navigate it all was incredibly entertaining.
Ollie and Theo each brought something different to the story, and I loved that their personalities complemented one another instead of blending together. Their dynamic with Londyn created plenty of laugh-out-loud moments while also adding heart beneath all the magical chaos.

This is book two in the For Her Pleasure Quartet and this one was definitely different in the best way. Londyn is just trying to focus on school and deal with everything going on at home, and then one chaotic night turns into something she never saw coming when she ends up tied to Theo and Ollie in the wildest way. I didn’t read book one but it was easy to figure things out pretty quickly and jump right into what was going on.
This one was just fun and a little unhinged. The whole situation with the twins had me like wait what is happening but I couldn’t stop reading to see how it was all going to play out. They’re cocky, they push her buttons, and somehow end up being exactly what she needed even when she didn’t realize it. I liked watching them figure things out together and try to fix what was done because of that spell, and even with how wild the premise is it still pulled me in.
If you want something quick, different, and a little chaotic with hockey boys and a why choose vibe, this one is worth checking out.

Did I get super excited when I found out that the next book in this series was not only why choose… but twin brothers?!? Yes, yes I did.
Once again Author H.N. DeFore did not disappoint!
She gave more characters’ POV from that doomed college party that sets this entire series in motion.
This FMC, I adored her! She’s the whole package… not only is she crazy intelligent, she’s also gorgeous and hard working. Despite her home life, she puts on a brave face and makes the work her b-ch.

Clamps by H.N. DeFore delivers a wildly imaginative, spicy installment in the For Her Pleasure Quartet. The author's signature blend of paranormal romance, humor, and steamy chemistry made for a quick, entertaining read that didn't take itself too seriously while still giving us the readers characters worth rooting for. From the first few chapters, I really enjoyed the banter between the main characters. Their chemistry felt natural, and the emotional moments helped balance the over-the-top paranormal premise. Holy sentient object Batman. That was lot what I was expecting. I went in to this book kind of blindly as sentient object isn’t my normal realm of reading. But I don’t regret it. This was a fresh new take on romance for me. And I enjoyed it far more than I was expecting to. It was creative and unique and highly entertaining. Somehow this concept was made into a romantic and sweet and hilarious and wild ride of a book that I just couldn’t put down. Londyn, Theo, and Ollie were a grouping that just worked perfectly for me within the story. The connection and chemistry there was completely off the charts and had me a little too invested in the relationship. I was pulled right along with these characters throughout the story towards an ending that left me giggling and smiling and swooning. It was perfect for them.

This was chaotic, hilarious, smutty and surprisingly emotional. Watching Cora's curse continue to wreak havoc, this time with Ollie and Theo, was ridiculous in the best possible way, especially alongside the other interconnected stories following the hockey players.
Beneath all the chaos, the way the story showed Londyn's toxic, narcissistic, and manipulative mum kind of hurt. Then, realising the boys were in a situation that was the complete opposite, with parents that didn’t really care. Those moments gave the story some real emotional depth and made it even easier to root for Londyn.
If you've been following the series, this is another entertaining instalment that fully embraces the chaos while still delivering plenty of heart.

There was some comedic gold with these two communicating while they were transformed. Londyn knows her desires and doesn't let anyone shame her for them. These three together made for some insanely spicy moments. I adored how protective they were over her when they saw what she was going through at home. They were there for her when she needed someone and she was there for them when they needed this curse broken.
We get some hints about the next two books of the series and I cannot wait to read them.

I have been waiting for this book ever since I finished the first. OMG. It is divine. So worth the wait. I love that this newest book in this series is an FMM. If you have not read a sentient romance, let this book be your first.
I would not say that Londyn and the twins, Ollie and Theo shared a true enemies to lovers vibe but they still were not a fan of each other. The fact that they did not like each other, just amped up the intensity between these three. Each encounter between these three got hotter and hotter.
"Theo kisses my throat, and Ollie captures my lips, silencing the scattered thoughts in my head."
Why have just one guy when you can have two sexy brothers. Double the fun! This book is not to be missed. A must read!

What did I read? Did I enjoy it? Yes.
This story is fun , short, and sweet. Is it a bit of a fever dream? Maybe. Is it sexy? Very much so.
I have never read any of DeFore's other works before, this is my first experience. Though honestly this was quite a ride.
This might be book two in For Her Pleasure Quartet, but this book can completely be read as a standalone. That is how I ended up reading it, though like most of the standalones I tend to find, I always seem to go back to read the rest of the books in the series.
I enjoyed this fever dream a lot. Okay-- not really fever dream. Not drugged induced. Though things that aren't exactly normal happen. Though it brings everyone closer together.

I read this as an ARC, and 1 had a feeling it was going to be absolutely unhinged... and I was right. I was laughing through pretty much every chapter.
I also really appreciated the toxic parenting representation and, more importantly, seeing the parent finally get put in her place. And can we all agree that an MMC who stands his ground and defends his girl is chef's kiss!
This was such a fun, quick read and honestly came at the perfect time. I was dealing with some emotional stress while reading it, and the humor was exactly the escape I needed.
If you're looking for a rom-com that'll make you laugh out loud and leave you smiling, Td definitely recommend picking this one up. I'm already looking forward to reading more from this author!

Right off the bat, Clamps is spicy, cute, and hilarious! It’s a fast-paced novella that balances lighthearted humor with a great story, never letting the comedy take away from the tougher topics lightly touched upon between the characters.
My only real drawback was that the ending felt quite abrupt. I didn't even realize it was the end until I reached the final page! I felt the story could have continued a bit longer to resolve a few open plot points. However, given that it's a short story, I'm hoping the author expands on these elements in future installments.
Overall, a fun, quick, and spicy read if you're looking for something light and entertaining!

There’s a lot more to this story than a pair of guys cursed into nipple clamps. Poor Londyn, and the situation with her mom, she just wants to move out after she graduates. Instead, she ends up with the twins (who I love). We learn more about what Cora did and how she cursed the 5 guys as sex toys, and most importantly, we get teased as to WHY she did it. I need to knowwwwwww, but I guess I’ll be satisfied with the hints for what the other toys are!

This was a great and quick read by author H.N. DeFore. I enjoyed the pace of this work. This was a unique read where the two twin main male characters get trapped and turned into nipple clamps. Many members of the college hockey team are under a curse/spell from one of Londyn's (main female character) friends. I felt like I definitely would have enjoyed this work more if I read the first book in the series. As much as this could be considered a stand alone, I felt there was too much of the story that would have had greater impact if I was able to know how other characters were connected.

This is a short fun read involving twin hockey players. This is the second book in a series but can be read as a stand-alone. Ollie and Theo are college hockey players that got cursed and turned into toys. When Londyn is then given the toys without knowing, she ends up responsible for breaking their curse. The problem is she's got a full plate of stuff she's not ready to deal with, let alone have people knowing about it. Open door, multiple player spice. There is talk of abuse, not between the main characters. Check the triggers.

I really enjoyed this book. I love why choose and twin brothers are always more fun. Londyn goes to a party with her friends and runs into Theo & Ollie. She tutors Ollie but she's not interested in Hockey players no matter how cute they are. But then after she leaves the party she brings home some clamps. And of course she has to give them a try. But after she gets off all of a sudden both Theo and Ollie are next to her in their birthday suit. She freaks out of course and takes them home. But then she talks to her friend Cora and realizes Cora set a little spell in motion. It was only supposed to be one of the Hockey players but ended up being 5 of them instead were all turned into "toys" And the only way they can be turned back is through a good time and an apology! I truly loved this quick book. Such a fun little read that had me chuckling when they were clamps.

After reading Vibes, I was so excited for this book, and it did not disappoint. I had so much fun reading it. I really enjoyed the twins and Londyn, and I loved watching their relationship evolve. I also liked learning a little more about how they found themselves in such a unique predicament. I’m also really curious about Brianna’s situation, as well as Flynn and Cora’s. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series to see how the other hockey players fare in their own situations. Overall, I had a great time with this one and definitely recommend it if you enjoy sentient object romances.

At first I went in not knowing what to expect and by less than half way in I was so shocked I had to pick my jaw up off the floor because not only was there nipple clamps involved, those said nipple clamps become hawked players haha 😆 this book was seriously one of the funniest things I’ve read all year.
It had romance, spice, and humor all rolled into one book! I now need to go back and read everything you have written because I just can’t get enough.

I love this series! While there are some heavy topics and scenes, overall the series is so fun and unique.
I really enjoyed this story because two is always double the trouble but double the pleasure LOL.
Definitely can be read alone but I do enjoy having the background information on other characters from the previous book. I’m excited for more, hopefully!

I am a part of the authors permanent advanced reader team. So, I received this that way and went in blind not realizing there was a sentient object plot. I was initially taken by surprise but I think the reasoning and the resolution were well done. Also I appreciated that the object was appropriate for the activity, it made it more believable. If you want a unserious, spicy, and short read grab this one and have a little fun.
