Special edition featuring exclusive bonus chapters, the prologue to The Mourner's Song and a reimagined cover.
Ten Sovereigns guard the fragile balance of Life, Death, Mercy, Revenge, Pleasure, Pain, Fury, Peace, Joy, and Sorrow. Bound by ancient Law, they may whisper to mortals and guide them within the limits of their charge. But above all, one command to love a mortal is forbidden.
Eira, Sovereign of Peace, has always obeyed. Her realm is still and kept in Balance until she meets Adrian, a mortal artist whose paintings capture the the very threads of destiny itself. Drawn to him against her will, Eira crosses the veil again and again, risking discovery and the disruption of Balance.
When the Fates learn what Eira has done, the Sovereigns are divided. Some demand punishment, others see opportunity, and the Loom begins to unravel. To protect Adrian, Eira must face her siblings, the Laws that bind her, and the truth about who Adrian really is.
A forbidden love. A secret older than the Sovereigns. And a choice that could shatter the threads of existence forever.
Threads of Fate is the first installment in the sweeping romantasy saga Chronicles of the Sovereigns.
Lana has loved writing since childhood, beginning with poetry and eventually expanding into full-length stories. A lifelong reader, she gravitates toward fantasy, science fiction, and romance (especially if it’s spicy!). These genres continue to inspire her own storytelling, and she loves creating fantasy and romance worlds with much more of both still to come! When she isn’t writing, Lana enjoys traveling, tending to her plants, and spending time outdoors, where she finds much of her creativity and peace.
I was fortunately blessed with a copy of this as I am an ARC reader for the second book as well. 😍 Honestly, if it weren't nearly 2 am, I'd likely dive into book two right now!! ALSO, this edition contains some extra reading material you definitely do NOT want to miss! 👀👀😍😍😍
I LOVED this book!! 5/5🌟
This book takes you on an adventure surrounding a new type of immortals called the Sovereigns, (especially peace, AKA Eira, and a mortal named Adrian). I won't give away any spoilers, but you are taken on a true adventure to challenge the future of the characters that is filled with incredible twists and turns.
I was IMMEDIATELY drawn into this story as I absolutely live for romantasy and the setting of this story is truly special as it mixed some traditional mythology elements with something completely new, and I LOVED it. This especially he's when meeting g the different characters and learning of their physical attributes and personalities. When I say that I loved this, I literally devoured this entirely in one sitting without stopping. The characters in this book are done so incredibly well, and Lana Williams fits an incredible storyline in a perfectly sized package. This book is a quicker read, yet it doesn't lose some of the elements that truly make fantasy books fantasy, which can happen in shorter stories.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars from me. I read it pretty quickly too....
I had an instant connection to our MFC Eira. Fated to be immortal, bound to duty as "Peace"... somehow connecting to her character unknown why. Feeling what ahe felt, how she felt. So much pain, and anxiety for wanting to live a life , finally how she wanted.
Enter Adrian, someone who she has a bond with and unsure why. That i wont spoil. Because O.M.G
Lana, really though. Cliffhanger? We had words. They remain 😆🤣 (and yes i stand by what i said in our convo for book 2... if it happens.... RIOT!!!)
Overall 5 Star rating. It is a quick read and fast paced. but SOOOO goood. Roll on Book 2.
This edition includes some bonus chapters that you DO NOT want to miss! Same amazing book with eye opening extra content!
What an incredible read! This story is weaved with mythology and romance and twists that I absolutely did not see coming! I'm always searching for hidden clues while I'm reading and this one is going to get a reread to see what easter eggs I missed! I adore the writing style, it reads like poetry and flows so well together.
The Sovereigns descriptions are so apt, they are mysterious and also familiar, I can't wait to read more about them. I absolutely love Fury, Death and Sorrow, and I'm excited to explore their characters more. The Fates are terrifying just as they should be and their dynamic with the Sovereigns leaves me with so many questions for the future.
The romance is so perfect and sweet. It's intense but slow and I'm dying to know what happens next. Eira and Adrian are everything. I know their story has a long way to go but I am rooting for them! It's a shorter read but I enjoyed every minute, especially knowing this is only the beginning! This is definitely the intro for an epic romantasy and I am here for it. I absolutely recommend you pick this one up, you won't regret it!
Threads of Fate by Lana J. Williams absolutely swept me away from the very first chapter. The world-building is immersive, the pacing tight, and the character dynamics, especially the tension between the leads was electric in all the right ways. She layers mystery, emotion, and danger so seamlessly that you can’t help but keep turning pages.
And that ending? A master-level cliff-hanger. Just when everything feels like it’s finally coming together, she drops a twist that left me staring at the last page in disbelief. Now I’m fully invested and desperate for the next book. Can’t wait. Xo
The writing was beautifully descriptive, that it made me feel all the emotions I loved Eira and Adrian and their interactions and I'm invested in seing more from both of them. Especially after that cliffhanger.... I didn't see that coming at all!! I need the next book, now!
I read the version with bonus chapters and it gave alot more context to the upcoming next installment and I'm exited :D
