I was introduced to 12 women whose lives taught me about God and about myself. This was a great workbook with probing questions and bible references to learn more. I thought I knew so much about Eve, but I was most surprised that I learned the most about this first woman. Identifying with these women's struggles and victories helped me this week and encouraged me to dig deeper into my bible. This is a great entry-level study guide and will be a springboard for those wanting to learn more. I was gifted this copy and was under no obligation to provide a review.
Twelve Women of the Bible Study Guide offers an inviting blend of storytelling, reflection, and practical spiritual insight, using the lives of twelve biblical women to illuminate the complexities of modern womanhood. Lysa TerKeurst, Elisa Morgan, and Amena Brown each bring a distinct voice, creating a study that feels both deeply personal and refreshingly accessible. The guide doesn’t just retell familiar stories—it reframes them, highlighting resilience, doubt, courage, and transformation in ways that resonate with contemporary struggles and hopes. The accompanying streaming video adds warmth and relatability, making the lessons feel like conversations rather than lectures. As a whole, the study becomes less about learning about these women and more about discovering how their journeys can spark growth, honesty, and spiritual renewal today.
The Twelve Women of the Bible Study Guide plus Streaming Video is a workbook to help you have a deeper understanding of the twelve women in the Bible and how significant they are. I love Bible study guides; they help me want to learn more and dive deeper into my Bible, and to gain a better understanding of that worldview and how I can apply it to my life and daily situations. I really enjoyed getting to know more about these women and having a better understanding of each of their lives and purposes.
An indepth study of twelve women from the Bible (with acess to streaming videos), which present these twelve women in a different light and with real-life scenarios that brought the studies home. This study guide got me meditating on the stories of these women and the journal sessions were also insightful. I recommend this book to every Christian woman. I got a complimentary copy of this book from HarperChristian Resources via Netgalley. This is my honest review.
