Larry Blot is a parody of Harry Potter. Neither the characters nor the world are well-developed, which is why I didn’t enjoy it. No one had reviewed it, which is why I actually finished the book - so I could. The School of Odd is about chaos, and about balancing order and chaos - creating harmony between the two. The book has some cute aspects, but I want more development. It is a quick, easy read, but I didn’t appreciate the humor enough to boost it to 3 stars.
