The prison break brought more than just prisoners.
Hobbes returned to Nitrao for witnesses. Instead, he found a crew—an assassin, refugees, and a failed initiate with nowhere else to go. The Infiltrator is becoming a rallying point.
But the evidence still isn't enough. Admiral Appleby is preparing to hand Hobbes over to the Hidrion Syndicate for interrogation. The same conditioning technology they used on Arden. The kind that can't be resisted.
Hobbes has one hide Arden on Tilypso, a criminal colony where even the Companies can't reach him. It tears Hobbes apart to leave him behind, but keeping Arden on the ship means delivering him straight to the Syndicate.
Then everything changes.
Unknown alien warships attack a Companies station—right as Hobbes is being transferred to Hidrion custody. New players are entering the war. The conflict is spreading beyond Hobbes' control.
And within the Companies, resistance is building. Officers who believe the evidence. Allies working in secret. A conspiracy within the conspiracy.
The Hidrions wanted secrecy. Hobbes exposed them. Now the entire region is picking sides.
Conspiracy is the third book in The Grid Wars series. When you expose one conspiracy, you discover how deep they all go.
Things are heating up for poor Hobbes and his crew. New allies, a conspiracy, staying alive and lots and lots and lots of action and space battles for Hobbes and his crew to survive. Watching it all play out was a hoot with nonstop action to keep me entertained. Plus spots of pure hilariousness too. Loved it all.
With each book things get a little more exciting and you just don't know what is going to happen next. Half the crew went one way and the other half stood a ship and went the other way . There is a lot going on in this series so you kind of have to pay attention to what's happening. Now I have to wait for the next book to come out.
Another gripping installment in the saga. Things are coming to a head. I don’t want to give away any spoilers. But I cannot wait for the next book. Note that there is swearing in the book. It’s not egregious. I received a free copy of this book with no obligation.
The book evolves the story and the main characters. New people start to stand up for what is right while the people who are corrupt show their real colours. Great read just a little short
Hobbes returns but finds more than he bargained for or expected. As always full of action and intriguing characters. Won’t disappoint. Can’t wait for more by this author.
