Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.
I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.
Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.
You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.
Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.
Rhett Voss owns Hallow, his three-Michelin-star restaurant. Clementine Hartley works with her dad at another world-famous restaurant. Both will be featured an the Feed America Thanksgiving Tour, but her crush on him years ago was real, even if he never even noticed her. When they do meet, the sparks immediately sizzle between them as they tour with other chefs in providing meals for those in need. And when Rhett’s friend and line chef is incapacitated, Clem steps in to help in more ways than one.
I adore Rhett and Clem, the epitome of dark and light, polar opposites brought together under unusual circumstances but are, in reality, a perfect match with off the charts sexual chemistry. Weston Parker has an incredible talent for luring readers in by providing scenes and emotions with such detail that I become a special character whose role is to see and feel everything at the same time from everyone’s perspective. Don’t miss this heartwarming holiday read!
I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily offer my honest opinion.
I really enjoyed this story...although it takes place over a relatively short period of time, the author did an amazing job of representing the relationships the characters built together. This is considered a bit of an age gap HEA, but with only 10 years difference, I can appreciate that even the characters are questioning the issues with the gap. However, the circumstances for this romance are indeed quite questionable. He's the head chef, she's barely just out of college - and that could very well be interpreted as impropriety!
I like that the author made sure to keep the circumstances of the story interesting, and although the story does follow a typical romance recipe, as usual, Weston does an amazing job of making the circumstances unusual. There are plenty of surprises, great amounts of detail, and even humor in the story. I found myself unable to put the book down!! Such a great read!
This book is another winner by Weston Parker!!! Rhett is a renowned chef in NYC. Extremely handsome and known as a “bad boy” with tattoos and is grumpy as they come. He demands nothing less than perfection. Clementine is a fairly new chef and her father is a famous restaurant owner whose passion is helping to feed the poor. Being a chef is everything to her and she has the talent and knowledge far beyond her years and is a ray of sunshine everywhere she goes. Rhett has agreed to go on tour to help Clementine's father raise funds for a soup kitchen and when his right arm chef has an accident Clementine is asked to stand in for him and travel with Rhett and his team. So what happens when these two opposites have to work side by side all the while secretly crushing on each other. Tempers flare and the passion is turned up to a 500 degree oven!!!! I could NOT put this book down and neither will you. Weston always comes though with the hot stories and the best endings!!!
Talk about an emotional roller coaster overflowing with plenty of angst and drama. You'll enjoy Clementine and Rhett's story and it'll capture your attention right at the beginning. Rhett's a world renowned chef based in NYC at this famous restaurant, Hallow. Grumpy and tattooed, he's a no nonsense kind of guy. Her father is also a famous chef whose passion is raising $$ for a soup kitchen. Clementine has a crush on Rhett and ends up working for him. They're opposites in that she's Miss Sunshine and he's Mr. Grump who would never win a personality award. They continue to clash but it develops into a slow burn romance with twists. A great book that will keep your interest. The characters are well developed and complex. An engaging story line that will keep you page turning. I read a free arc via the author and voluntarily chose to write a review.
Falling for the Grumpy Bad Boy is another fabulous book by Weston Parker. This one is about Rhett, owner of a 3 star michelin restaurant, and Clementine, who is the daughter of a famous restaurant owner who is determined to give back through his Feed America Thanksgiving Tour. Rhett and Clementine end up working together on the tour when his right hand man, Conroy, gets hurt. Clementine surprises him with the way she can cook, and also the way she treats everyone she works with. Rhett treats them like a grump, and she treats them like she is everyone's best friend. Talk about a difference in styles!! They have a tough time getting through the tour, because the chemistry between them is crazy. Watching them solve their problems with each other to get to their happily every after is amazing and a lot of fun. Grab this book, you'll love it.
Rhett is the owner of a successful restaurant and an accomplished chef however his people skills don’t always endear him to others. When he agreed to go on a tour to help feed the homeless his plan for his assistant chef to come along is derailed and he isn’t pleased when Clem goes instead.
Clem may not be as experienced as Rhett when it comes to cooking but there is no denying her skill as her father is the owner of a successful restaurant. Clem has feelings for him but she also knows that anything between them would be complicated in part because they are working together and in part because of her father.
Personality wise she and Rhett couldn’t be more different, but she proves to be his equal in every way. The interactions between them are humorous, the romance between them passionate and they are supportive of each other when difficulties arise.
Rhett Voss is a world known Michelin chef. Clementine has followed in her father’s footsteps who is also a Michelin chef Desman Hartley. Desman is in process of starting a soup kitchen to help feed the hungry. He has asked Rhett to go on tour to help get the soup kitchen and he also wants his daughter to go as well. This would be her time to sink or swim. Clem is so excited but she has always wanted to meet Rhett but never dreamed that she would go on tour with him. While on tour things become a little heated and Rhett is holding back and sending mixed signals. What will happen when the past rears its ugly head.
Another wonderfully written story by Weston Parker. Great main characters who definitely have a chemistry the storyline was spot on and very enjoyable. I received an arc copy of this book and I am freely leaving an honest review.
Rhett is the definition of a perfectionist — a brilliant, broody chef who’d rather let his food do the talking. When a charity tour throws him together with Clementine, the warm and talented daughter of a famous restaurateur, sparks fly in every possible way. She’s sunshine to his storm, and watching them clash, challenge, and eventually connect was such a treat.
Their chemistry builds beautifully — not just heat, but heart. I loved seeing Rhett’s walls come down bit by bit and Clem’s quiet strength shine through. The story has humor, passion, and that signature Weston Parker charm that always leaves you smiling.
A grumpy/sunshine romance with all the flavor of a five-star dish — I devoured it!
I received an ARC of this book and am sharing my honest opinion.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "FALLING FOR THE GRUMPY BAD BOY" the characters pull you into their interesting, intriguing, twisted journey with sizzling chemistry that keeps you reading. Rhett Voss owns Hallow a three star restaurant & Clementine Hartley works with her father at another famous restaurant, both will be going on the Feed American Thanksgiving Tour with chefs that will provide meals for those in need. Clementine had a crush on Rhett years ago when they meet after she offers her help when his lead chef can't go on the tour their chemistry sizzles, they say opposites attract. Will things developed more between Rhett & Clementine their twisted journey will have is one you don't want to miss such a heartwarming enjoyable read.
Poor Clem is on a roller-coaster of a journey whilst on tour with Rhett, the celebrity chef. Rhett is just an awful character, his managerial skills in the kitchen borne out of causing fear in the staff yet at other times occasional glimpses of his vulnerability come to front. They struggle to ignore the passion between the two of them but following a visit from Rhett’s relatives his past comes to light and Clem is there for him. Until it all goes down hill. I could understand Clem’s father being concerned at their relationship with so much depending on the success of the food kitchen. An emotional journey for the reader in this story but all ends well.
Rhett Voss is a renowned chef in NYC and the owner of a restaurant named Hallow. Clementine Hartley is a young chef, fresh out of culinary school and the daughter of Chef Desman Hartley, another famous NYC chef who owns the restaurant Salt and Mercy. It's the classic story of how the famous grumpy older guy falls for the sweet young thing who happens to have a backbone and can stand up to him. There are several instances of him treating her poorly under the guise of just trying to protect her reputation. It's complicated, but things eventually work out for the best for everyone. It is a good and entertaining read that everybody will enjoy.
A phenomenal book about Rhett and Clementine's chef adventure. 5 star all the way! Their chemistry, as chefs and later as lovers is off the charts. I like the way you think Weston. But was he too old for her? Would her famous chef father give his blessings to them? Who would've thought a famous chef would hit it off with an up and coming much younger chef? Read how heartless Rhett can be, and how sweet, smart and maybe not so innocent Clementine is! Thank you Weston for this story of all the highs and lows of romance!
Westin has another hit on his hands. I loved this book so much I read it in one sitting cus I didn't want to leave the story. Rhett is a famous Chef who agreed to go on his mentors pet project to raise money to feed the hungry. Clementine is a chef just starting out in her career, her father asked her to go on the tour to learn and absorb more, not knowing she has had a lifelong crush on Chef Rhett. When they meet they have an instant connection but decide to act completely professional while on tour. Go out and pick up a copy of this book now you won't regret it. It's a standalone HEA
Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle and it is not just in the kitchen :) Rhett and Clementine have an awesome story - there are challenges, denials, family drama and everything in between. As dark as Rhett is, Clementine is the total opposite - all colour and bright - polar opposites in personality and management style. They continue to clash but it develops into a slow burn romance with twists and turns. A great book that will keep you interested. The characters are well developed and complex. Very enjoyable
Rhett Voss is a Michelin star chef on a charity food mission. He is working for one of his chef idols, Denham Hartley, and needs this charity fundraiser tour to be a success. Rhett is a very successful chef with family secrets, and he wants to keep those secrets safe. In walks his idol's daughter, Clementine Hartley, and his kitchen changes. She's a young chef and with talent and ambition, never mind she's gorgeous, and she's going to be on the tour! This is a great read that has sparks, mystery, and a roller-coaster of emotions.
I’ve just finished this book, it’s a bit of a roller coaster! This could be considered a seasonal story as it starts in the run up to Thanksgiving. It’s et around a promotional fundraising cooking tour which ends with a Thanksgiving dinner for hundreds of people in need of good food. In the tour is the grumpy bad boy chef, Rhett Voss. Clementine Hartley, the daughter of famous chef Desnan Hartley, an upcoming chef herself, is given the opportunity to help on the tour and things develop from there. A really lovely heartwarming story, which I received as an ARC.
Rhett and Clemetine find themselves working together when his righthand man is injured and she steps in. Their attitudes and styles are totally making it a very interesting read. He is standoffish and she is little miss sunshine and treats everyone like family. Close proximity has feelings brewing and as they evolve you see the transformation throughout the story. This story is filled with drama and kept me glued to the pages. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
Rhett is the owner of a 3 star Michelin restaurant. Clementine works with her father at another world famous restaurant. Her dad is raising money to give a meal to the poor. Rhett agree to help on the tour and when his right hand man Conroy had an accident Clementine has to work with him. They both have a crush on each other. Working together the chemistry is getting hotter by the day. This is an amazing story one that I could not put down. Grab a copy it is a must read.
I absolutely love a grumpy gorgeous guys, the grumpier the better and a positive, sunshine filled woman who knocks him off his feet. Love the combo. This story stars Rhett and Clementine. He’s a Michelin star chef working for his chef idol, Denham Hartley. Rhett has secrets that he doesn’t want public but he is success driven. Clementine is his idol’s daughter who is also a young chef. She’s beautiful and talented. A page turner.
This book is outstanding! As a person who watches cooking shows Weston Parker did a seamless job of interlacing those elements into this love story. I liked how the way women chefs are treated in male dominated profession get treated. The characters demonstrated growth during the story. The multiple storylines are smoothly intertwined and each has a very satisfying ending.
Rhett is a complicated man with a complicated history. He was not prepared for 5’2” Clem to burst into his kitchen or life. She’s sunshine and optimism to his brooding, grumpy mode. Plenty of ups and downs for these two as sparks fly - and not always in a good way. At the end of the day they make amazing food and make each other better people. Have your fan ready for some steamy scenes.
I absolutely enjoyed this book . I loved Clementine shes a strong woman trying to make it in man's world as head chef and being mentor by Rhett, but when sparks fly between them will they crash and burn in the kitchen? Rhett knows he shouldn't want his friends daughter but will his secret past keep them apart? great book.
I enjoyed the book that gave an interesting look at the behind the scenes work in the top culinary career scene. The romance was filled with anticipation as well as finding reasons to deny their attraction. While Rhett was a slightly older man, it didn’t have an age gap feel to it. The secondary characters were well developed as support for the kind of grumpy bad boy Rhett was.
Such a great story didn’t want to put down . Clementine a chef wanted to learn from her dad friends very well known chef feeding the hungry tour. He thinks she is a spoiled princess and she gonna prove him wrong . Must read by this author
Wow! Grumpy Bad Boy by Weston Parker was so good! It was so amazing, I couldn't put the book down. Rhett was the grumpy bad boy and Clementine was the optimist. Both of them were on a tour for Clem's father to feed the hungry for a grand opening of a Soup Kitchen in New York. What a ride...
A well written story about a chef with an attitude and a young chef who needs to get out of her father’s shadow. The characters within the story were great and the storyline had you wanting more and rooting for love to win out.
Like most books from Weston this books engage you from the very beginning and makes you feel like you are watching the characters from the side line. Plot has plenty of depth and heat inside and outside the kitchen. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Loved!! Awesome detailed storyline with exciting twists to keep me glued to the pages. Likeable characters. Fun banter. Chemistry was smoking hot. Some exciting drama filled pages. Read in one sitting because it was that good.
A wonderful romance full of tension, steam and drama. I loved the sparks between Rhett and Clementine. He could be rude and obnoxious but did show his softer side. Clementine was so sweet and likeable. His mafia past comes to light and they have to deal with the repercussions. A beautiful read.
