A beautifully written story starting out with Ivy and Grayson meeting up for a no names, no guilt one night stand. Ivy had just been through a humiliating breakup and loss of her job, so she decided to do something she would never have done before and said yes, to the sexiest man she had ever seen, even if he was double her age. Ivy is in the conference room on her first day of her new job and the CEO, her new boss comes in, she can’t believe her eyes when it’s the man she had the incredible one night stand with, she sees him looking around the room, his eyes landing on her and she sees the reaction when he recognises her. What’s even worse is that Ivy realises that not only is Grayson the man she slept with, but he is also her ex boyfriend Lucas’s father!

Surprise is hers when she walks into her new employer a few weeks later and there's Grayson, her one night of fun. It gets worse when she discovers Grayson is Lucas's father.
Ivy and Grayson try to fight it, but fate has other ideas. Too bad Lucas has decided to make their lives hell, leaking false stories to tabloids, confrontations in very public places, and hurtful names are woven all through the story.
I really enjoyed how Laila King spun this story of a broken family and new love. More often than not relationships are left broken, so I was glad to see th adult child/father relationship begin to be repaired in the end.

Ivy and Grayson have a no strings, no complication and no repeats, one night stand. They didn’t exchange names or numbers. Ivy was grieving her boyfriend Lucas who cheated on her and got her fired from the company they both worked at. Later when Ivy starts her new job she is shocked to find out Grayson is the CEO of the company where she is a high level administrative research assistant. He tells her in very clear language that it was over, never to be repeated or discussed and she told him to stop undressing her with his eyes! When she realizes that he is Lucas’ estranged father and that she is pregnant all heck let’s loose. Their attraction is a slow burn and the board and Lucas’ company want her out.

LOVE CONQUERS ALL
This was definitely a sweet read that gives you all the feel good feelings. Ivy is definitely a brave and strong character, but even those types need a good man to lift you back up when the world is determined to keep knocking you down and Grayson did not disappoint. He is truly Ivy's hero riding in like a white knight to save her at every chance he gets. Grayson's oldest child, Lucas, I a piece of work......and even though he FINALLY saw the bigger picture and tried to fix things......I still hated him. No redemption deserved in my mind. I'm just glad all the stars aligned themselves and Ivy & Grayson got their HEV together.
I absolutely would recommend this book to anyone in the mood for something sweet.

Surprise Twins for My Ex’s Dad delivers exactly what the title promises: a spicy, over-the-top age-gap romance packed with drama and tension. It’s an easy and quick read, but I found it to be repetitive and a bit redundant at times. The plot goes mostly the way you think it will, without many surprises along the way.
Both main characters had the potential to be a powerhouse couple, but their emotional immaturity made it harder to connect with them or fully invest in their story. Still, if you’re looking for a fast-paced, steamy read with all the familiar tropes, this one checks the boxes.

Wow. Where to begin. Great book. This was about Ivy. Her boyfriend Lucas broke up with her after 6 months of dating. She worked at the same company he did. His mother got involved and told him that she wasn’t right for him and set him up with someone else for a business merger. She was fired from the company because he and his mother ran it. That same night she met a man and they hooked up. You can tell from the title what happened. But there was a huge scandal behind it because he was the CEO of the new company she worked for. Must read.

This book has drama, from co workers to the exes and board members. No one is happy about our fmc and mmc being together. There is no gut wrenching climax, no breAk up drama which could've made it more intense but enough to keep you reading.
Spice level was 1/5 for me, I'm always going to want more.
No cheating, no other woman or man to worry about.
HEA and epilogue two years later to wrap it up.

A great read. I love how Grayson fought for and protected Ivy even though his livelihood was at risk. Ivy also stood her ground, though it took some strength from Grayson. Once she knew she could rely on him, she was standing tall and strong! My favorite scene was when they crashed the party and grabbed the microphone lol. I was clapping through my Kindle 😂. Lucas and his mom deserved everything they got in the end.

I could give you a million and one reasons why you should read this really magnetic romance book about Grayson and Ivy, but I won't. All I will say is it is not only a well written romance book, but Laila has really done a marvelous job writing the storyline. I wish there was a 5 plus star button because this book deserves that.

Truly did enjoy
I really did enjoy the story, drama, etc. but it was very repetitive...like word for word in multiple places. It's the only thing holding me back from giving it 4 or more stars. Overall I would recommend to give it a read though.

full of plots. Ups and downs. Continuous! Kept me interested from the first word to the last. Not a cookbook romance. It does have a Happy but complicated ending!

A rather nice story of a one night stand for two people needing to forget life but fate has other ideas. As Ivy finds herself working for Billionaire Grayson, the older man who set her world on fire for one night.
If that wasn’t a complication, then the fact he’s her ex’s father and she’s now pregnant, with twins.
Much drama and tension ensues until they can get their HEA.
