This book was a thrill ride!
Mara our FMC is a succubus who reluctantly feeds on men when absolutely necessary and uses her powers to battle evil demons. Shes fun, sexy, sarcastic, fierce, and strong willed. Gabriel our MMC is a demon hunter detective who is stuck in a life that is “comfortable” and rigid until Mara.
First the tension between these two is perfect. Darrell, the detectives partner is a hilarious supporting role. Mara is the type of person I want to be, and I love how she and Darrell poke at Gabriel all through the story.
I just love when an uptight rule follower goes feral for a woman.
In addition to the phenomenal characters, the storyline here is packed full of adventure and fun twists and turns. This is a hearty size story and I couldn’t put it down. NGL, I contemplated calling off work to finish the story sooner.
The complexity of the plot is outstanding, but not hard to follow. It’s just jam packed. Every sentence has purpose. This story is so well done.
If you love paranormal, romance, action, thrills, mystery, characters woven into each others lives, emotion and a baddie FMC you’ll love this!

I loved this story with Mara half demon half human at night she kills the Supernaturals that kills humans but one night she accidentally leaves her mark on the wall and it gives Gabe a cop and hunter a clue he tries to kill her but Mara acts like they are just having fun and it confuses him so he has to investigate her and what he finds is not what he thought at all. This is such an entertaining story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend reading this book.

How can you go wrong with a virgin Succubus who uses her powers to fight evil demons and has a priest as her friend? You can't! The characters are well written and easy to like. The banter between Mara - the FMC and Gabriel - the MMC is funny, sarcastic, and sexy as hell. The supporting characters are just as lovable. You can't help but get pulled into this paranormal love story full of action and adventure. I can't wait for Demon After Dusk!!

Ari does it again, giving another cast of characters to love. Mara the succubus and Gabriel with his sarcasm. The banter between the two is so much fun. I can't wait for the next adventure.
