I hope everyone knows by now my love of Bridget Adrienne’s novellas. Yes, I have read every single released one! And I’m always anticipating the next, because these short novellas are so incredibly satisfying.
I was so excited to be back with our rugged, bearded, foul-mouthed, possessive rangers. At this point, I don’t think you can get better. I’ve tried the whole cowboy thing, good, yes, but these rangers? They hit different. (And won’t smell like cow or horse manure… pine and woodsy all the way.)
This one gives us a semi–second chance. Even though their first “chance” was really just one kiss… ten years ago. And my gosh, do I ever melt for a guy who spends a decade pining for her after one kiss. Like, yes please.
And don’t worry, you still get your full dose of kinky, dirty, hot-as-hell spicy scenes. He’s got ten years of anger, desire, and tension ready to deliver after all.
And that phone call scene… YES. How hot was that?! Throw me in a bathtub and let me soak that up.
And to make it even better, there’s a snowstorm and it’s Christmas time. So luckily our ranger gets a gift to unwrap… and our FMC gets to be that gift.

Much Darker Than the Blurb Suggests
Unwrapped by the Ranger is marketed in a way that seriously downplays what kind of book this actually is. Despite the blurb, this is very much a dark power-play romance, featuring a second-chance dynamic combined with a boss/employee relationship that creates an uneven and at times uncomfortable balance of power.
The story is very spicy, with a strong focus on explicit scenes, but that comes at the expense of plot and character development. The romance leans heavily on physical chemistry rather than emotional growth, and several moments feature dubious consent, which readers should be aware of going in.
While the book is set around Christmas, the holiday functions purely as a backdrop. The same is true for the winter and snowed-in setting, which adds atmosphere but doesn’t meaningfully influence the story.
Overall, this may work for readers specifically looking for a short, spicy, dark romance with power imbalance themes, but the blurb sets expectations far too lightly. If you’re sensitive to consent issues or expect a festive or emotionally developed romance, this one may not be for you.

Sierra's ex won't leave her alone, so Mason answers the phone and leaves it on while they're...otherwise occupied. Sierra keeps checking her phone, so Mason puts it on the highest shelf and lets her attempt to climb him to get it back. Plus many other sexy shenanigans.
I felt like this way the perfect book to ease into December and the Christmas season. It doesn't punch you in the face with Christmas, but it's cold and they decorate. I would say this is her darkest romance (in the best way). I loved it.

Her men are walking red flags, and I wouldn’t want them any other way. Although one scene definitely had me flinching.

God Bridget never disappoints! If you’re looking for a fast paced, insta love romance with a HEA, then look no further. I enjoyed this novella so much, I ate through it in less than an hour! There’s so much pent up love, hurt and longing in these pages, it has you on the edge of your seat just waiting to see how things are going to go. Plus the banter between the MMC and FMC is flawless and the heat that seems to pour of the pages.. oof it’ll get ya 🥵

Unwrapped by the Ranger is a spicy, forced proximity, second chance holiday read that is full of great characters that share a past and after meeting years later, still have a powerful chemistry to one another. Sierra and Mason have a push-pull dynamic that is both powerful and super steamy. They journey to discover themselves and their own happy ever after. Unwrapped by the Ranger is well written with the characters evolving as they continue their relationship. This story is an entertaining and worth the read.

Goodness me, I can see why there was a warning at the start of this, Mason had particular thoughts, needs, wants and reactions which may not be to everyone's taste. Reconnecting with Mason lead to Sierra discovering a few things about herself. I did a question about their past reading but let it slide as I liked that he showed her how he felt about her and what he wanted and that Sierra stood up to him about her life, her choices and what was best for her.

Get your fan out. This is hot, spicy, and even tender at times. If you have read books from this series you are in for another treat. If you are new to the Rangers series. A simply wonderful story! The ranger and the girl who got away once.
The plot was well written and developed. World building was excellent and impressive. The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and likeable and perfectly steamy together. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Coming home after so many years shouldn't be stressful. Getting instantly hired for a new job one day and fired the next doesn't really help either. Too bad the head ranger is the man she kissed at a High School party then ran away from. Sierra and Mason, two people who have wanted the same thing for many years and after being brought back together will they be able to get over their past in order to have a future?.

Bridget Adrienne does it again! Her fast paced steamy insta love books give you all the spice in a nice short package! The men are dirty talking women ravishing specimens. I've read many books by Bridget and I gotta say, this is my favorite so far (although I have liked many). The connection between the main characters was great!!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was Mason could get a little to mean for my liking (although who doesn't like a little roughness). Can't wait for the next one!!!

It has all the good tropes, stalking, obsession, slight enemies to lovers vibes? It was so good and good plot.
For me, there was just a slight character immature for the MMC that was a bit frustrating, but other than that it was great. I can’t wait for what she comes up with next!

I was warned before I read this story that it would be nothing more than pure entertainment. Well, it was definitely entertaining, but I'm not vouching for the purity. OTT with lots of spice and great dialogue. A very hot quickie!
