I teach yoga, not anger management for feral men with eight-packs and boundary issues.
My “Full Moon Flow” class was supposed to be harmless—stretching, breathwork, maybe a little spiritual howling for the tourists. I didn’t expect the sexy guy in the back to actually grow fur mid-downward dog. One second he’s locked in Eye of the Tiger pose, the next he’s got claws, a tail, and absolutely no pants.
Now I’ve got a real, live werewolf in my studio—hot, cranky, and very naked. He says he’s “new to this shifting thing” and needs help staying grounded. I say he should stop staring at my hips like they’re his next full moon snack.
But when he offers to repay me with... bodywork?
Let’s just say my inner zen is officially screwed.
The story was cute, but smut felt awfully repetitive, and I felt like they said a billion times how she should run from a werewolf, but she wasn't most people, so she won't. Oh, and she said what felt like a hundred times that she loved him "Wolf and all." It was a cute sentence once, but it annoyed me later. Indigo was a yoga instructor in a small town. She was a nice character; she felt drawn to the werewolf from the start, which significantly lowered her inhibitions. She didn't know about werewolves or mates, so it was a bit surprising to her how at ease she felt with this stranger. Damon was a werewolf. He was new in town and new to being a werewolf; the poor guy tried to gain control by meditating and doing yoga, but found a yoga instructor who made both him and his wolf pant with need. He was a sweet guy, I liked that take on a gentler werewolf. Yeah, he still had feral instincts and was a bit wild, but he was also a gentleman who always asked for permission and made sure he didn't hurt her when he was wilder. It was a cozy romance; there wasn't really much plot, but it was cute.
if they said "most people would run screaming..." "well I'm not most people" one more time, I was going to throw my Kindle. very repetitive, insta just, almost insta love. Kinda boring. No knotting - bummer.
Indigo is just trying to increase attendance at her yoga studio with her full moon class. She absolutely didn't expect the hot guy in the back row to start going furry when it was time to howl at the moon. She also didn't expect to have to hide him away in a storage closet and give him some hands on attention to keep his wolfy side from breaking through.
But that's exactly what happened.
Now she's trying to help Damon find his inner peace and keep him from wolfing out in public places. And since getting close and personal helps keep him even, Indigo is getting UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL with the sexy werewolf. Honestly, it's not a hardship in the slightest.
On Damon's end, he's trying to deal with suddenly being a wolf on his own and it's...not going so well. Especially around the full moon. But something about Indigo works for him and having her close keeps his wolf happy. His human side happens to like her also. Which is fortunate because these two just can't keep their hands off one another.
Tight quarters, sexy yoga, a wolf just trying to find his happy place, and a lady who is VERY good at keeping her wolf engaged. *thumbs up*
What a sweet story. Loved the meet cute during a full moon in her yoga class. I liked that she accepted him as he was and his attraction to her. He came to find help in adapting to his situation and both their feelings grew as she calmed his inner wolf. As they spent more time together, they found their HEA. I'm going to find more books by Riley and immerse myself in her world!
Having read the first 3 books in this series: No consistency to the lore in the series. These books are okay as standalones but grouping them in a series makes it weird that there is so much variation as to what the defining traits are for the wolf MCs. I stopped reading after 3 books. They are cute but I prefer more clear definitions in my stories. They're also all very repetitive.
It was a quick read, very Insta-attraction, and a bit repetitive. It's good to read as a palate cleanser. No drama, no high stakes, just a quick, short read with a decent amount of spice.
Cute, and a fun read, but there were a couple time-line issues for me. He meets here during a full-moon yoga class, then says the full moon is in 2 weeks. Why would you be in a full-moon class on any day but the full moon?
I loved this book so much. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the repetitive phrases throughout. I usually prefer more slow burn but this had a decent explanation for the fast burn and that made it so much more enjoyable.
The last 3 or 4 chapters were completely unnecessary. Nothing happened, and it happened so slowly. I thought there was going to be a last minute conflict, but everything was... fine.
That and the repetitiveness of several phrases ("dual stimulation" was written 6 times. Why?) dropped this from a 3 to a 2. I'm hoping the others are better.
A werewolf attends a yoga class in an attempt to control his urge to shift, but ends up starting to “wolf out “ in front of the other students. What happens next leads to an unexpected encounter and a connection between the wolf and the yoga instructor.
This was already a very short story and yet there were still scenes that felt repetitive. The author used the term "dual stimulation" 6 times which really was unnecessary.
