Bratva Claim

Rate this book
I’m no-one’s pawn, and if he thinks I’ll go with him quietly… he’s wrong.

It’s just an average delivery—but he’s not an average man. Sitting behind the desk like an ancient king, Benedikt Volkov has the kind of imposing presence that sucks the air out of the room. It’s probably why I stumble over my words and almost my feet. Way to play it cool, Sienna.

But I don’t care that he’s got the charm and the face to go with that king’s presence. I don’t care that he thinks I need protection from some faceless threat. I’d be a fool to trust him, and I can’t be bought. Certainly not to be his wife…

Bratva Claim is Book 1 in The Volkov Series. It is a steamy, dual-POV dark mafia romance with obsession, danger and enemies-to-lovers energy. It is recommended to read this series in order. Books 1 and 2 end on a killer cliffhanger that will leave you begging for more and Book 3 has a to-die-for HEA.

2.5* I enjoyed it but there’s a lot of plot mistakes, and I wasn’t keen on either of the characters.

While I enjoyed it, I don’t really care about either of them. The plot is really confusing and I’m still confused about how politicians, high ranking police officers and businessmen are passing messages to each other by doughnuts from a bakery. I kid you not. At the start of the book Sienna works in a bakery with her best friend. Her best friend who she never really talks to or tells anything about her life, or ever sees her outside of work! 🙄 When Sienna is approached by Benedikt who is the head of the Bratva, yet he isn’t as his father is, and his eldest brother who is in prison. I don’t even know where his father is, as he phones him and tells him that his brother is getting out of prison so Benedikt will have to pass everything over to his brother, unless he can give him a heir then he stays in power. Erm….. When have any Bratva or criminal organisations ever said that??

Sienna’s father who is a waste of space owes Benedikt a lot of money and he won’t kill him if Sienna works for Benedikt and pretends to be in a relationship with him. This is where Sienna started to be really annoying. She agrees to work for Benedkt to save her dads life but then won’t play ball at all! She argues with everything! She won’t go to meet his father, and won’t do any of the things he asks her to. She has a major tantrum every time he asks her to do something, EVEN THOUGH SHE AGREED TO DO IT!! There were a lot of mistakes. Benedikt tells Sienna about his father and his brother, then she said she had no idea later on. Benedikt tells Sienna to get ready as they’re going out for a meal to meet his father, then they go to a nightclub and he meets a businessman. 🙄🙄

While it was an okay read I’m struggling to read the second book, as it’s way too drawn out. I don’t care about either of them, and Benedict threatens Sienna way way too many times.

If you love mafia romance that feels like a punch to the ribs and a kiss to the throat, Clara Dunn’s The Volkov Trilogy is the kind of series that will swallow your weekend whole. This isn’t just three books—it’s one continuous, breath-stealing ride following Sienna Graves and Benedikt Volkov as they fall into something dark, obsessive, destructive… and ultimately unbreakable.

From the moment Sienna’s “simple delivery job” crashes into Benedikt—the powerful, unreadable, sinfully dangerous Bratva heir—you know you’re in trouble. Book 1: Bratva Claim sets the fuse. The sparks are immediate, the danger is real, and the cliffhanger will make you gasp and then frantically open Book 2.

And thank god the entire trilogy is available at once, because you will need it.

Book 2: Bratva Vow takes everything you thought you understood and turns up the voltage. The chemistry? Off the charts. The tension? Sharp enough to cut skin. The betrayal? I did not see it coming. This is where the enemies-to-lovers energy swerves into obsession, where the forced-proximity marriage tie-in fans the flames, and where Sienna and Benedikt teeter between destroying each other and holding on for dear life.

Then you hit cliffhanger #2 and realize Clara Dunn truly doesn’t believe in letting her readers breathe.

Finally, Book 3: Bratva Ruin delivers the explosion the entire series has been building toward. Secrets unravel. Loyalties shatter. Benedikt’s past claws its way into the present, and Sienna becomes the one person he’ll burn down the world to protect. The heat is still scorching, but now it’s layered with vulnerability, trust, and the kind of emotional payoff that makes the journey worth every twist. Their hard-won HEA feels earned—and honestly? A little addicting.

This trilogy is perfect if you crave:

Dual POV that digs into both broken hearts

Mafia danger with real teeth

Lovers who start as enemies, become obsession, and choose each other anyway

Forced proximity and a marriage tie-in that changes everything

A binge-worthy storyline with cliffhangers that hit like gunshots

High heat… and I mean high heat

Bratva secrets, betrayal, and family power struggles woven through every chapter

By the end, you’re not just reading Sienna and Benedikt’s story—you’re surviving it with them.

If you’re looking for a mafia romance that grabs you by the throat, kisses you senseless, and refuses to let go until the final page, The Volkov Trilogy is the obsession you’ve been waiting for.

4.5 ⭐: I've read many books from this author. This review covers the books in the Volkov Trilogy. This is a dark romance, set in a violent world, that spans all three books. I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline! The story was really engrossing & well-developed. It captured my interest from the very beginning. I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend reading this trilogy!

It's written in a dual point of view style with the chapters mostly going back & forth between the main characters. It helps you understand where each are coming from & why they act in certain ways.

The main characters are Sienna & Benedikt. Sienna is a young woman who works as head baker at a bakery. She's also the only child of a man who owes Benedikt a debt. Benedikt is the Mafia boss of the Volkov Bratva. They first meet when she makes a delivery to his office. They are instantly attracted to each other, but both resist it. When Benedikt informs Sienna about what else goes on at the bakery, she doesn't believe him. He uses her father's debt as leverage to get Sienna to inform him on what's happening at the bakery. Benedikt forces her into a deal to protect her. She's not happy about it as it comes off as obsession & ownership. Sienna makes her feelings known. They understand each other better the more time they spend together. Their chemistry is combustible. When trouble brews inside the Volkov Bratva, loyalty is tested. Choices are made that can't be taken back. Betrayals abound. As the situation escalates, Benedikt is determined to win the war and to keep Sienna & her grandmother safe. Once the threats have been dealt with, Sienna & Benedikt must decide whether or not they have a future together.

A few twists keep things interesting. There's a good amount of spicy scenes. The secondary characters, good & bad (some very bad), help to flesh out the world of the story. Personally, I like the growth arcs for both Sienna & Benedikt over the course of the story. I like the true friendship between Benedikt & Artem. I think Lucy should have been more present in the story at certain points, especially toward the end. I really love Sienna's grandmother! I don't want to say more so as not to spoil anything. This book is a must read!

Clara Dunn's The Volkov Trilogy is a highly compelling, continuous three-book saga in the mafia romance genre. It chronicles the dark and obsessive relationship between Bratva heir Benedikt Volkov and the formidable Sienna Graves, forging an ultimately unbreakable bond.
The trilogy is expertly paced, utilizing sharp cliffhangers and escalating tension to drive the narrative forward:
𓍢ִ໋🀦 Book 1: Bratva Claim ignites the story as Sienna's routine delivery crashes into the powerful, dangerous Benedikt. He is established as a ruthlessly possessive Bratva heir, while Sienna proves her strength by immediately standing her ground against him, setting the fuse for a volatile enemies-to-lovers dynamic.
𓍢ִ໋🀦 Book 2: Bratva Vow heightens the conflict with an explosive blend of off-the-charts chemistry, shocking betrayal, and a forced-proximity marriage tie-in that fuels the shift from antagonism to obsession.
𓍢ִ໋🀦 Book 3: Bratva Ruin delivers the explosive payoff as secrets unravel and Benedikt is forced to confront a past that claws its way into the present. The book affirms their hard-won connection through vulnerability and fierce protection, leading to an earned HEA.
The writing effectively balances high-stakes mafia danger, complex plot, and intense emotional depth. For those seeking a well-executed trilogy blending significant plot, high-heat romance, and a consuming relationship arc, The Volkov Trilogy is a strongly recommended binge.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️
Tear: 🌵
Darkness: 🌉 twilight
Morally: 🩶 gray

Sienna is a baker trying to make ends meet doing her passion and keeping her grandmother cared for. Benedikt is the second favorite son of a Russian mafia boss with plans to take over his family’s empire.

Ben is wiling to give Sienna the world if he gets to have her and a future heir. Sienna well she’s stubborn. She wants her freedom but something about Ben keeps drawing her back in even when she doesn’t think she wants him.

Bratva Claim, book 1 —
I enjoyed it is an easy read happy I can keep following this soon to be hopefully enemies to lovers. I am here for the banter. And love that despite her “hatred” for him she can’t get enough and wants him deep down.

Bratva Vow, book 2 —
We’re getting closer, Sienna certainly isn’t Benedikt’s enemy but he is sure her enemy. Sienna kinda pmo she’s not understanding all he’s willing and wants to give her. Also she wraps them both up in a scheme that they’re not prepared for — but is mad at what must happen to follow through. AND THE END GIRL talk about cliff hanger.

Bratva Ruin, book 3 —
By the end of this book I was left with good ole happily ever after vibes which I loved. They both grow so much in this last book. I loved seeing them work through everything and finally be on the same page.

Read this book if you like:
♦︎ mafia romance
♦︎ dual POV
♦︎ enemies to lovers
♦︎ possessive MMC
♦︎ dubious consent
♦︎ stubborn FMC

Bratva Claim, first book of the author’s Volkov Trilogy is a wildly entertaining dark mafia romance which delivered a rousing good story that will span over the next two books.
MFC Sienna Graves is a baker whose life becomes entangled with that of Bratva boss Benedikt Volkov when he advises her that the father she has been estranged from for years has given her to him as payment for the gambling debts he owes.
Benedikt has his own agenda and making Sienna his fits nicely into those plans.
Though I felt Sienna’s self preservation instincts were a little lacking I never the less appreciated her fierceness in the face of Benedikt’s attempts at controlling her.
There were also without a doubt definite undercurrents of attraction simmering beneath all the angst between them.
Mafia family dynamics, violence, intrigue, danger, secrets, suspense, passion and emotion fill the pages of an engagingly written narrative with well developed characters, dual POV, and unputdownable reading warming up those cold winter nights. TBC

This is by far my favourite read this year, maybe even ever. I laughed and squeeled whilst kicking my legs during these amazing books. Also Ben is my book husband 🙋‍♀️ so hands off ladies. Every single part kept me on the edge of my seat desperate for more, yet never wanting it to finish. I have some of my favourite parts to share that absolutely melted me into my chair 😫🥵

You want me to sleep with you?”
“Many times.”

“I love how you look at me like I’m the monster and the cure,” he says against my skin. “But if you open yourself fully to me, princess… I can be both. I can fight all your demons. And cure all the aches in this tight little body.”

“How else was I going to get you to be mine? Dating takes too long, and I wanted you. You needed something, your father had a debt, so I took you. I’ll be everything you need, princess. But you keep looking at this like a prison and not like it could be one of the best things that ever happened to you.”

So run ladies to get your copy of this absolutely breathtaking trilogy

The Volkov Trilogy is worth exploring—but it’s not without its bumps.

Book 1 hooked me right away. The pacing is sharp, the atmosphere tense, and Volkov himself is a fascinating character—torn between duty and humanity. It’s the kind of opener that makes you want to binge the whole series.

Book 2 however, felt like a detour. The psychological depth is interesting, but the plot meanders and the momentum stalls. Honestly, you could skip this one and still follow Book 3 without missing much.

Book 3 brings the trilogy back to form. It’s fast, urgent, and delivers the emotional payoff you’ve been waiting for since page one. The ending ties things together in a way that feels both satisfying and earned.

Verdict:If you’re curious about the trilogy, don’t let Book 2 scare you off. Book 1 and Book 3 alone make for a powerful duology, but completionists may still want the full ride.

Enjoyable read.

🖤 My review for The Volkov Trilogy Bratva Claim 🖤

⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️🌶️🌶️

I really enjoyed this trilogy! You get all three books in one!! 🖤

I loved the writing, spice, story and plot. The codes and numbers via pastries (the FMC workers at a bakery) was a nice touch, one I haven't read in another book so I really liked that!

I absolutely loved the MMC but had a hard time liking the FMC (hence the 4 ⭐). She was so stubborn, fighting and questioning everything throughout the whole book.
BUT If you love a stubborn, strong minded FMC you will love Sienna!

The bakery Sienna works for is actually a front for an underground criminal organization. Sienna met Benedikt when she had to deliver a bunch a different pastries and a cake to his office.

Benedikt was OTT possessive, a cruel mafia man who would do anything to keep Sienna safe.

Also I can't wait to read about Artem!! Loved that side character!

Thank you for gifting me this book to read. This is my honest opinion and my review🖤

- [ ] Bravta claim
Sienna + Benedikt- this little back and forth they have going on is giving me life but what really has me going is the CLIFFHANGER. Off to the next part I sprint to.

“What’s insane is that your father thought he could keep gambling his future and then just walk away. What’s insane is you showing up here like I’m the villain when all I’ve done is clean up the mess he left you with.”

- [ ] Bravta vow
Eldest brother Nikolai comes back and throws a wrench in this one. The spice was spicing and I needed it like I need oxygen. Now to dive into the next one.

- [ ] Bravta Ruin
Oh sweet Sienna how badly did you mess with this beautiful man. The way this book had me on the edge of my seat and that ending omg.

I need everyone to read this trilogy STAT!

I want to thank Clara Dunn for the opportunity to read the Trilogy before it was released. I fell in love with Sienna and Benedikt.

The Volkov Trilogy consists of three dark, mafia romance novellas entitled Bratva Claim, Bratva Vow, and Bratva Ruin. This trilogy features Sienna Graves and Benedikt Volkov.

Sienna is a 27-year old baker working at Sugar & Spice Bakery. She delivers a collection of baked goods to Benedikt thinking it is just a standard order. Little does she know that the man to whom her delicious carbs were delivered accepted her as payment for a debt her father incurred but couldn't pay.

Benedikt is the second born and therefore not the apparent heir to the Bratva empire however his brother Nikolai has been in prison. Benedikt intends to fight for the Volkov Bratva and part of his strategy is to marry Sienna and have her bear an heir, a requirement per his father to inherit the empire. Sienna however has a lot of fight in her and she intends to make it as difficult for Benedikt as possible in the hopes he might let her walk away.

The three books should be read in order. Sienna's resistance leads to forced proximity which evolves into an obsessive relationship. This trilogy packs a lot of action and heat. There are a few twists keeping readers captivated. If you enjoy mafia romance, you'll likely enjoy this trilogy.

The Volkov Trilogy - Brilliant mafia romance in three books

A lovely mafia romance, well worth the read and I was lucky to get all three books as the first two end on cliff hangers and I couldn't wait to continue Sienna and Benedikt's story. There's plenty of power, secrets, danger, spice, a protective mafia MMC who will fight to keep his woman safe, an independent FMC, love, twists and a HEA.

Book 1 – Bratva Claim
Sienna was just there to deliver but Benedikt can't forget her and isn't going to lose her. He's a man of secrets and power who's conflicted by his duty to family, with his fascination with Sienna which will lead them both to sizzling chemistry and danger.

oh my gosh

I just wrapped book one and I’m looking forward to book two.
There is so much to unpack here - mystery, deception, debt exchange, negotiation and insane chemistry.
This was a fast read, leaving with a banger of a cliffhanger.
These characters, the MMC and the FMC are like water and oil and when they’re shook up, it’s a beautiful thing to read.
He gets what he wants and what he wants is her and she is a strong woman who will not cave. He’s got leverage that she can’t compete against and I can’t wait to see what happens in book 2.
Pick this book up you will not regret it.

*i would suggest reading trigger warnings*
I love a good story with all the smut and plot and craziness. Now this story pans out over three books and it still didn’t feel long enough. Ben and Sienna definitely did not start on the best of terms but they ended with an epic love story. I do wish that the bakery cover front plot was explored more but the story was still very well written. I was engaged throughout the entirety of the three books. If you love all things mafia , angst, enemies to lovers, and spicy then I would recommend taking this trilogy for a spin.

I had such a good time with this trilogy! Getting all three books in one was perfect. 🖤

I loved the writing, the spice, and the whole plot.

The MMC was amazing, but I struggled a bit with the FMC. She’s sooo stubborn and questions literally everything. But if you’re into strong-willed, stubborn heroines, you’ll probably love Sienna.

Benedikt is OTT possessive and your classic ruthless mafia guy who will do anything to keep her safe.

This book was gripping from the very beginning to the cliffhanger ending. Sienna doesn't want to be a part of the Bratva world but her father's debt forces her into the arms of a man she never expected, Benedikt. Sienna struggles for acceptance the entire book and Benedikt struggles to understand his feelings and how to explain the need for her, which ends up putting more between them and doesn't show them how they can work together. Just when you think they've finally moved forward, plot twist1

If you love mafia romances with action, danger, drama, love and betrayal, then The Volkov Trilogy is for you! (Three books in one.)

I really enjoyed Sienna and Benedikt’s love story. Although, it would have been better with less of Sienna’s pov. I love a feisty fmc, but not at the cost of a real betrayal. And Benedikt is in a league of his own. You’ll absolutely adore him by the end.

(And I cannot wait until Artem’s story…iykyk.).

It was great to have all 3 books in one!
There was action, danger, drama, lots of feels, tension, and spice.
Overall, the trilogy was great and captivating.

My only frustration was with the FMC, Sienna. I do appreciate that she was no push over and she stood her ground. However, there came a point I got tired of her constant defiance.
I loved Benedikt though. His jealous/possessive ways made me happy.

This is the first in a new series, and this is Benedikt and Sienna’s story.
This is a well written easy-to-read, action-packed story, which is told in dual POV’s, with family dynamics, friendships, emotions, danger, suspense, intrigue, trust, obsession, tension, enemies / lovers, and undeniable chemistry, which leads to an entertaining, dark mafia romance.

Power for chemistry From the main characters Better disappointment at the end

I love the characters in this story and the plot line was okay. But my biggest disappointment was again an author Who doesn't finish the book. Now you have to get the next story and who knows maybe the story after that. I wish authors would be forthright about it if they were going to do this because then you know ahead of time.

This has everything that a good mafia book has. you have a boss who is used to getting what he wants, and a stubborn woman who doesn't want anything to do with him. Somewhere along the lines, he just decides to use her father to get her. She winds up falling for it even though he was not much of a father to her she just doesn't want to see him killed. It will be interesting to see where this goes from here.

um…

Ok, what an a-hole! I am definitely not liking the MMC but will continue with the next book because I need to see where this goes. And the MFC…
Does she not realize she’s dealing with a mob boss. I can understand not being associated with that life but people do what tv or movies, she has to have some kind of clue what he is capable of doing to her for running to the police.

I received this as an arc for the entire trilogy. books 1 and 2 read so quickly because I am was enthralled with the dynamic of Benedikt and Sienna. Mafia, forced marriage, family drama dynamics, sweet grandmother you want to join for bingo and gossip.

My only complaint about this book was the mention of some amazing bakery creations and no recipes for them.
