I got this book for my son, age 2. The plot was too complicated for a board book, which is made for babies/toddlers. Even my daughter, age 4, didn't understand it until I explained every page without reading the text. Nice pictures, great message, but not good presentation for the age group it's made for.

I think it was nice because Bob lent some help for Joe's mother.

I didn't like this one as much as the other two I have read on the same day. I understand they were going for some humor in the book, but to me it didn't really work. The message was good about helping others. Love the colorful illustrations.

Bob is trying to help teach Larry that you don't have to have a cape and super powers to be able to give a hand to a neighbor that has broken her foot. Helping to do household chores is what God wants you to do and Bob helps teach that to Larry and another little boy.

This book has a strong lesson tied to it about helping your neighbor. It is a lot of fun for kids who have seen the television show that goes with it but still applicable for those who are just being introduced to these characters.
