I love this author and I love these books. We meet Crowe’s person who was part of the rescued group. Unfortunately starting over was not in the cards but Crowe is there to make sure it happens. I loved how these two got together. Truly seeing each other and wanting the best. They understood each other’s trauma and gave each other grace and strength. I love getting to interact with the previous characters and I love the found family. This D/b light but it worked for them. I’m very excited to see how Wolfe and a certain office manager come together in the next book.

Crowe by Jacki James is book 3 in the Three Bears Tactical series. This is by far my favorite of the series. Noah and Jackson, aka Crowe, were phenomenal and I loved them both so much. It has been six months since Noah has been rescued from the human trafficking ring. He is starting to get his back into some of his normal routines (apartment, job, freedom). He still suffers from nightmares and is constantly reminding himself that he is safe. When his name pops up on the dark web, the Three Bears determine that he needs to be brought back to be protected from abduction.

I love how Jackson realized how strong Noah was. He was fierce and not backing down. Their relationship developed at the proper pace. It was just right. I wouldn’t have minded a little more spice, but I did enjoy what we got. Is there something going on between Wolfe and Caden? I kinda hope so. I highly recommend this series.

A true 5 💫 book

I absofreakinlutely loved the story of Crowe and Noah as they traveled the road toward a happily ever after. I started this book a few hours ago and I read until it was finished. I just couldn't put it down and I stayed up late to do so. This couple is so romantic and sexy. There is a dangerous threat against Noah that the Three Bears Tactical team has to handle. They all work together to keep him safe. It was wonderful to read about the characters in the previous books. Don't miss this story, in fact read the entire series. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

It is about a man who was trafficked and then rescued but the man who bought him won’t give up, and the rescuer who came back for him and gave him protection, and how they fell in love. Noah Gentry worked in a flower shop when he drove 2 hours to meet a guy for a Daddy Night, thinking it would be safe, but it wasn’t. He was taken and kept in a basement and then sold to another man but was rescued by Three Bears Tactical before he could be sent to him. It’s now 6 months later and he’s made a new life in Houston, working in another flower shop and hoping he is anonymous in a big city and can’t be found in case his “owner” is still looking for him. When he was rescued, he was taken to the Three Bears Tactical Headquarters in Vesper where he made friends with Julias and Miki who lived there with their boyfriends who were part of the Bears. During this time he has continued to receive therapy and has coping mechanisms when the nightmares hit and is slowly making a comeback from his ordeal. Jackson Crowe was part of his rescue team. He runs the Three Bears Training Camp, was a combat medic, and is also a Daddy like the rest of the Bears. He is currently having a vacation in his cabin near Houston when Wolfe, the head Bear, calls and says that Kat, their tech person, has been monitoring Noah and there have been recent hits on him that are very suspicious and they are worried that the man who bought him has not given up. Crowe was impressed with Noah so he found him at a venue where he was working on flowers for a wedding and told him what was happening. Noah wasn’t surprised that the man was looking for him, even though he hoped he wasn’t. He had told his boss everything and she told him to go with Crowe. They were going to go to the headquarters but stopped at Noah’s apartment to get some things for a short stay when they saw his door was open. They quickly got on the road and soon Crowe noticed someone was following them and after a harrowing scene they headed back to his cabin where they would be safe. Crowe found Noah to be strong and determined not to let the bad guy win and to reclaim what they had taken from him. Noah saw Jackson as the protector daddy that he is. They talk, go for walks, and complete puzzles all while learning more about each other. Then another attack at the cabin occurs and Jackson takes care of it while Hawk and Gator, two other Bears, are on their way and then they all head to the Headquarters. Noah is greeted by Julius and Mika who become his good friends and confidents, and that night Jackson stays with him and they have a hot love scene. They have gotten more intel on Anton Corvane, the man who thinks he owns Noah and has many coverups for his dealings and lots of money so the feds can’t get anything on him to put him away. He also won’t give up what is his, which makes Noah very nervous, but he knows that everyone at Three Bears has his back. He spends his days with his friends and with Jackson out at the camp and even learns some self-defense moves that will come in handy. He is also going to give a speech about being trafficked at a Gala sponsored by his therapist and he won’t give that up. That is where the Three Bears and Chance Kelly, an FBI agent, make a plan to see if they can catch Corvane in action and find something on him. Things go as planned and Corvane actually talks to them at their table after Noah’s speech and says he is patient and won’t give up. But Jackson also informs him that they won’t give up on protecting Noah. Corvane was there with his wife, Imogen, and Noah talks to her alone which then leads to an epic scene where she helps him to finally become free. When one of the options they had for giving Noah his freedom was to put him in witness protection and change everything about his life, Jackson told him he was going to go with him if that happened because he loved him and wouldn’t let him go alone. Noah told him he also loved him back and luckily things worked out for them to stay in Vesper together. I really enjoyed this story. After everything he has been through Noah shows just how brave and strong he is and how much he cares about his friends and Jackson in almost every scene. Jackson fell for him almost as soon as they met again and was such a protector and knew he would always keep him safe. Julius and Mike added some fun and the rest of Three Bears Tactical were there to help in any way they could. There was lots of suspense in a car scene and also at the end when Corvane thought he finally had Noah, but Jackson was there to make sure everything went their way. While Jackson is a daddy and Noah craves one, there is no age play, just protection and safety, a little dominance, and a lot of hot love scenes. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like stories where one man has been hurt and is still in danger, another who works for a protection agency and knows what to do to keep him safe, some suspenseful scenes, and lots of love between them as they move forward with their lives.

This is Noah and Crowe’s story after Noah is rescued from his traffickers by the men of the Three Bears Tactical team. It’s been six months and Noah finally has started to rebuild his life when Crowe reappears to let him know that the man who had purchased him is close to tracking him down, necessitating his escape from this new life, back into the care of the Three Bears team, and especially into the care of Jackson Crowe. Noah feels safe with Jackson, safe enough to sleep without his nightmares, as long as Jackson is in the bed to hold him and keep them at bay. The attraction and growing relationship between them wasn’t planned, but grows naturally as Noah trusts Jackson to keep him safe, and to care for him like a Daddy would. Jackson is a Daddy, and Noah needs the structure and caring from a Daddy, so it is lucky these two fit so well together. As feelings grow, the threat becomes more pressing, and the hunt is on to find the man responsible for Noah’s latest danger, to keep Noah protected, and to help the FBI get enough on his hunter to get him put behind bars. There is a twist or two as the team works to protect Noah, leading to Noah realizing there are things he can do to protect himself, to make a difference, and to act to protect himself and others, all while earning the love of his protector, and working toward building a life in the “after” of his ordeal with the Daddy who has captured his heart.

The characters and events drew me in and had me reading non-stop until the last page. I loved the care and understanding Crowe showed toward Noah, attuned to his needs and anticipating what he might want, but also checking in to make sure he got Noah to express his needs and wants so he could give his boy what he needed. The bedroom scenes were so loving and caring, they were beautiful to read as Crowe did everything he could to make Noah feel loved, desired and treasured. In return, Noah gave Crowe his trust, his thoughts and feelings, and his growing love for this amazing man.

The supporting characters that are part of the team, and their partners, all added to the story, as characters from previous books made several appearances either as part of the protection team or as friends who helped support Noah as he went through this additional ordeal. Mika and Julius are a great support system for Noah. I’m sure we’ll see the three of them support whoever may be needing the protection of the Three Bears team in the next book, maybe with Wolfe and Caden? I will be waiting to see who is next. Noah’s story is one of resilience, healing, and finding the strength to keep moving forward even after unimaginable hardship. Throughout the book, Crowe beautifully explores not only Noah’s journey of recovery but also the importance of stepping back from work and making room for the things that truly matter in life.

I loved how the romance develops at its own pace. It’s sweet, genuine, and never feels forced. Instead, it grows naturally alongside Noah’s personal journey, making every moment between the characters feel meaningful and earned.

At the same time, the tension surrounding Noah’s former buyer adds a darker and more emotional layer to the story. It serves as a powerful reminder that rescue is not the end of a victim’s suffering. Healing takes time, and the book does an excellent job of showing the lasting impact of trauma while still offering hope and comfort.

One of my favorite aspects of the series continues to be the Three Bears family. The Found Family dynamic is everything I love in this genre, and seeing the bond between Noah, Julius, and Mika made my heart so happy. Their friendship feels authentic, supportive, and full of the kind of unconditional love that everyone deserves.

Fast-paced, emotional, funny, and incredibly easy to read, this book had me hooked from beginning to end. It’s the perfect summer read: heartfelt enough to make you care deeply about the characters, but light enough to leave you with a smile when you turn the final page.

Noah has done so well since being rescued from a trafficking operation. Crowe was in awe of him then, and even more so now, when he has to come back to Three Bears Tactical because there's a possibility his original captors want him back.
Noah's strength of character is so great, something to be celebrated. Jackson is the perfect person for this, seeing him as more than a survivor, someone living and doing the best he can. Their chemistry is more of a smolder than a blaze but there's no doubting it is there.
The threat continues to exist for Noah throughout the book but they manage to keep him safe whilst also looking at possible action. It's always the rich, assholes who think they are untouchable that are behind things such as this, and this case is no different. Suspense builds towards the end of the book, while the middle allows Noah and Jackson to show each other just how important they are and could be to each other.
Another great read from this author and the series. There's definitely enough there for a spin off series, and I'm especially interested in Wolfe and Caden... 👀

This is the third book in the Three Bears Tactical series and I think that you should really read these books in order. This is the story of Noah Gentry and Jackson Crowe. Noah was kidnapped and sold in human trafficking in the previous book. Luckily he is rescued by the Three Bears Tactical team before he meets his new owner. It has been six months since his rescue and he is still working hard on rebuilding his life. Crowe was part of the team that rescued Noah. He is a retired combat medic and is responsible for running the Three Bears Training Camp. This is their story. The book is well written and easy to read. I received a complementary advanced review copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review. When Noah's "buyer" decides that he wants his purchase back, the Three Bears team goes into action. Crowe takes Noah to his cabin for protection. Crowe respects all the work that Noah is doing to reclaim his life. He admires his strength and endurance. Noah sees Crowe as the protective daddy that he is. I liked how their relationship grew as they learned about each other. I liked both the romance and the suspense throughout the book. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Noah was rescued along with Julius in GATOR by Three Bears Tactical (TBT) and that was just his beginning of his life after. Crowe is one of the members of the TBT that rescued him, he also happens to run the camp where teams train to be better at survival. It was nice to see him in full and the sweetness and strength he processes to be the amazing trainer at their camp that he is. Noah chooses to leave Vesper to start over, but his past doesn't stay that way, and Crowe is asked to grab him and take him back to TBT headquarters. Their attraction was evident from their first meeting, but Noah needed the time to heal and prove to himself he can move forward. Loved how well these men communicated and how Crowe saw the strength in Noah, even before he was able to see it in himself. Noah fits in so right with Mika & Julius, along with their significant others and the rest of the TBT team. The dynamics of TBT is what will keep drawing you in, mix in a cameo from STATION 69 and oh boy this book is perfection. You had that right blend of intrigue, passion and sweetness that holds you from the start and doesn't let you go until the very last page.

So excited to get Noah’s story which continues the series with plenty of suspense, heart, and healing. Six months after escaping a horrific situation, he’s finally starting to rebuild his life when a new threat forces him back into the orbit of Three Bears Tactical. Watching Noah face his fears while refusing to let his past define him made him easy to root for, and I loved how much strength and resilience he showed throughout the book.

Crowe was the perfect match for him. What starts as a protection assignment slowly develops into something deeper, built on trust, patience, and genuine care. Their chemistry is more of a slow burn than an instant spark, but that made their growing connection feel even more meaningful.

Alongside the romance, the danger surrounding Noah keeps the tension high, with enough twists and action to keep the pages turning. A satisfying blend of romantic suspense, found family, and emotional healing that left me excited to see Wolfe's story next.

Noah was rescued from a trafficking situation months ago and has been surviving but not living. When he’s in danger again one of the men that had rescued him arrives to protect him, and Jackson won’t let anything separate him from Noah.

Even though this story progresses quickly I really enjoyed how Jackson and Noah got to know each other and felt like their connection was sweet. The fact that Noah has overcome something and fights to remain strong means Jackson can support him with both men respecting each other’s strengths. I liked all the supportive secondary characters that circle around both men and that Noah listened to Jackson’s expertise and Jackson always shared the information and danger so that Noah could make his own decisions. A nice addition to this protector series. 4.5 rounded up

What a fantastic book!
Noah and Crowe's relationship was beautifully written. Inside this book we get to see more of the relationships Noah has with the friends he made when he was first rescued. Even though there has been time and distance, when he's in need they all come to his aide.
Crowe and Noah discover that they have a deep connection that was present even in the early days, even though neither perused it for different reasons.
There is pure evil present that thinks no one can touch him..he was wrong.
I won't go into details as the reader\ purchaser deserves to find out things as they progress.
I will say we get the following in this book:

The way the author showed us who these men were, how they feel for each other, their friends and family was wonderful.

Noah was one of the bravest characters I have read about, with everything that had been done to him, he still tried to live his life. Crowe whilst not a bodyguard as such, had always admired Noah from a far, but never felt it was the time to tell him. However when he knows Noah's life is still in danger, he steps up to do the job of saving him.
From the moment Crowe stepped back into Noah's life, you knew that Crowe would do anything to keep him safe.
Full of action and a car chase, I was there for every scene. Glad to see Mika and Julius return and seeing how close they are with Noah, laughing with crew of the Three bears, seeing that Axel and Maddox had not changed a bit.
Reading this has me thirsting for Wolfe and Caden's story

Noah and Crowe (Jackson)'s story is a steady read! While it deals with some heavier topic it is handled in a way that doesn't overwhelm. I like how Noah was written. He been through something horrible he still had issues because of it, but his determination and his almost stubbornness to get his life back, not the life he had taken from him, but something more, was beautiful to see. and Jackson ability to balance the need to protect Noah but also given him the space he need to stand on his own showed the respect he had for him and what he was going through!

There were times where it seemed the story stalled a little or was drug out a little more than needed and I felt a tad bored but that didn't last long!

Fight club comes in handy

I enjoyed the first two and, not gonna lie, my favourite character is still Trixie! She appears here too and cracks me up. Crowe and Noah are quite good too.
After seeing what happened to Noah in the previous book, I wanted him to find his HEA and I loved that it was Crowe who was his perfect man.
It's a gentle romance, all slow and sweet, with very little detail to the sex but a lot of atmosphere in those scenes. It's Daddy-lite again, with just the names 'Daddy' and 'baby boy' being used very sparingly and nothing more, but it was still enjoyable.
It's an ensemble piece again too, with all the Three Bears Tactical staff involved. The villain meets a very satisfying end, and Noah not only finds love but can feel safe at last.
I can't wait for the Big Bad Wolfe next. Caden is obviously the one for him and now we finally get to read their story.

The third instance of the series Three Bears Tactical follows the previous books in their romance mixed with a suspense case, this time Noah's, who we already know from the previous book.
I felt like the relationship between the MCs was a bit more rushed than the previous books, but nothing that truly impacted the enjoyment of the story. In fact, I absolutely loved Noah's resilience and strength after everything he's been through. I also really liked how the tension in the action scenes and how the team protects their own, no matter what is against them.

Noah and Jackson were very cute together!

This was another sweet addition to the series with a very sweet, low angst relationship progression and some intriguing action/tension in the background with the overarching trafficking plot. It worked well having that dichotomy as it never felt too sweet but also didn't feel to heavy - it struck a really good balance of keeping you a little on edge whilst being able to sink into the gentleness of Noah and Jackson's relationship. Things do progress pretty quickly but it worked given we know that these two knew each other for some time while Noah was initially recovering with everyone at Three Bears. It would have been nice to see snippets from that period but I also didn't feel it was needed given Noah was so far away from being ready for any relationship at that point. Instead we see more of an instant comfort with one another that quickly turns physical/romantic. It works really well and while it feels a touch fast at times it makes sense given the intensity of everything that has/is happening. I love getting to see all the other Three Bears guys (and their partners). They're such a great group and truly are a family. I'm excited for the next book and intrigued as to who at Three Bears will get their HEA next.

What a great book. This is the third one in this series and can be read as a standalone, but why not enjoy them all. After Noah is rescued, he is trying to rebuild his life and is now living in a bigger city working at a flower shop. While at the wedding venue, Jackson Crowe walks in as Wolfe saw chatter on the dark web regarding Noah. They leave together to go to Vesper, but with a tail on them, they ended up going to a cabin. This is the start of their story of Jackson ended up protecting Noah from the man that bought him. I loved their interactions while Noah was also trying to heal from that ordeal. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

I love this series and all the Daddy’s and their good boys. This installment is about Crowe, who is more of a loner and works at a separate location than the other daddies in the book. Noah is our strong survivor who is trying to take his life back after a very traumatic event. Crowe and Noah are thrown into a close proximity situation due to the evil men in this story. They build a relationship based on honesty and trust. It is a great story with all the other daddies and boys from the previous books joining in the adventure. Lots of heat and passion. I highly recommend this book. Enjoy!

This was what I expected. It's a carry-over from the last book for Noah who was rescued from the trafickers and now they are still after him, so Crowe picks him up and it's instant chemisty. Then they try to find evidence to convict the bad guy and Noah has plans to speak at a fund raiser for victims and who shows up, Mr. Buyer and his wife who knows.

You pretty much have to read the first books to understand who the other boys are after they go back to the HQ to stay and the guys are around Noah. It was Daddy/light. He only really used it in the bedroom. So it was what I expected and a fairly easy read that kept me engaged.

If you love found family, flowers, and new beginnings this is a great book. Jackson and Noah are a great couple. I love that Jackson is always checking on Noah and his feelings after Noah had a difficult past from the previous books. The book started off crazy and continued until the end. I had a hard time putting the book down. I liked seeing the past characters scattered throughout the book. I like how this book wrapped up the challenges that were in the previous two books. I look forward to seeing what happens with Wolfe and Caden in the next book.

Right let's start. Great characters, even characters whose story it is not are real. Brillant action. Hot sexy scenes. Found family fun. Believable storyline. Ah, so beautiful to witness Noah rebuild his life and find himself again, too bad the worst type of men are still out there, determined to own him.

But he’s got Crowe (and the rest of Three Bears Tactical of course) to keep him safe while they find a way to take the men down so Noah can continue to flourish.

Crowe, is in many ways and island, he loves his people but still feels outside it all. Until Noah. Noah who cares and makes his life softer and sweeter and gives him a home.

Crowe and Noah’s book is so good. This book starts off with a little danger and keeps a good pace with bad guys, good guys, spice, and sweetness. I love how protective Crowe is without sugarcoating the danger, or keeping the plans from Noah. They treat each other as equals, and with love and respect. I really enjoyed this book! While you might be able to read this book as a standalone, you would have a better understanding and get more enjoyment if you read the first two books in the series. I recommend this book!
