Shelly Sood is a dynamic force in the world of entrepreneurship and personal development. A serial 7-figure+ entrepreneur, certified breathwork instructor, she is also masterful storyteller, and mindfulness expert.

Drawing from a wealth of ageless wisdom acquired through her life journey, Shelly offers practical mindfulness tools designed to seamlessly integrate into busy lifestyles. Her insights empower individuals to untether their lives, transform their worlds, and discover true happiness.

Holistic healing entered Shelly’s life when her husband suffered from an undiagnosed mental health condition for more than two decades. This led to profound emotional, financial, and mental turmoil, including suicidal behaviors and acrimonious divorce proceedings.

Shelly's intervention saved her husband’s life, their family, and their marriage. After helping her husband rebuild his life, Shelly discovered unparalleled fulfillment in alleviating others' pain, inspiring her to launch a successful healthcare company.

Her story is captured in an exciting dual memoir, Untethered (not yet published).

It is the story of a South Asian wife, mother, and entrepreneur who breaks free of generational trauma, gender roles, cultural expectations, and mental health stigmas—allowing her to help save her husband's life, reclaim her life, and found a successful healthcare company—after the devastating discovery of her husband's mental health condition.

Through a long healing journey, the company, Untether Your Life was born.

The company mission is to empower millions of people to own their health through the exploration of both traditional and holistic healing modalities by encompassing the mind-body connection, and ultimately creating change.

Through Untether Your Life, Shelly is also carrying forward her father’s legacy to create change in this world by spearheading his teachings globally through a partnership with a hospital for the poverty stricken in India. She seeks to impact the lives of millions through her self-help book series, upcoming memoirs, courses, movies, podcast, and company offerings.

Shelly’s husband Nikhil is Producer of his top 5% ranked podcast Untether Your Life, which offers listeners tools to explore holistic and traditional healing modalities, empowering them to own their health and break free of templates.

It is only through embracing our authentic selves that we can untether our lives, reach whole health, tap into unlimited potential, and discover a meaningful life filled with purpose in this world.

Currently, Shelly resides in Southern California with her husband, three children (Aliya, Shaun, and Evan), and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Elliot.

I have just read a book every busy woman should read. As the title says, the book is really a guide to mindfulness practice. Mindful breathing techniques like a kapalabhati, alternate nostril breathing or box breathing represent just a few of mentioned and explained practical advice.
What I liked most about the book were concepts and their explanations like for example mindful movement, mindful eating, relaxing with music, creative arts, playing the musical instrument and mindful body scans.
For me personally, the journaling practice felt the best.
There is also a possibility to do the exercises and make notes while reading.
The explanation of a cold body therapy and its effect on our body and health was also great.
I definitely recommend the book to everyone who wants to slow down, relax and feel better.
