Published in tandem with his autobiography "I Killed Bette Davis", "Headhunter" is an unproduced screenplay by Larry Cohen, a brisk and silly (in a good way) variation on comic-book based super hero movies. Cohen's masked crusader, dressed in surgeon's threads, is the titular "Headhunter", who kidnaps career criminals and performs surgery on their brains, reversing the parts of their personalities that led them to crime. This being a Cohen script, the hero isn't really satisfied with his work and comes to question whether has the right to change the minds of others, even when it's in the name of justice.
