This book was an absolute BANGER with several jaw-dropping surprises!!! As Tula and Areana commit to the plan to have her rescued from the island, the unexpected happens and the Immortals have to scramble to expand the mission - and since I detest spoilers, I’m not going to ruin it for you - but I guarantee that you will not see happens coming!!!! Will poor Esag who has been carrying guilt over losing his precious cargo that he was in charge of finally get a break from that guilt, or will another shocker present the group with options never dreamed of. Seriously it is hard to write a review without giving away too much, and it was such an absolute joy to read, just take my word for it and dive right in!!
So, they had a plan! And it was well thought out. It should have gone off without a hitch. But life doesn’t work that way and Arianna slipped, fell over the cliff and was caught by Yammanu who also has Tula holding on. As they are scrambling down the cliff side, Navuh goes flying over the cliff after Arianna only to crash on the rocks below. A Med team was sent to rescue Navuh, and the rest of the ladies, Elias and Tony from the island. Taken to the clan’s island, Navuh stabilized, everyone put on a plane and off to the village! This book was high adventure that kept me on the edge of my seat. Twists and turns that I was not expecting at all and more questions that set up for the next book that I can’t wait to read!
Dark Island: Revolt, Book 102 of the Children of the Gods series by Isabell Lucas @itlucas_author - You must read this book serial in order from book 1!
FANTASTIC! I am loving the second book about Tula & Esag! Way too short! LOL! Tropes: Contemporary, Paranormal (Gods/Goddesses/Aliens), MF, Harem Captive, Escape Planning, Overall Storyline Arc For The Series & a cliffhanger for the next part of this series!
Plans for the rescue are being solidified and Tula must play her part. But when the rescue happens so many things go awry. There is a major one that is quite shocking. Meanwhile the enhanced soldiers are also causing some problems on the island. Will everything work out with the rescue? Will things work out for the better or worse? There are so many interesting occurrences in this story that make it worth reading. Isabel just throws in so many curves that you aren’t expecting. She knows how to keep us engaged and come back for more.
After how slow paced 101, I have to admit I was leary of reading this episode.
Mehn, talk about dragging the readers back in and keeping us on the line! I keep telling y'all Navah has Khiann! The clan is going to be in for the fight of their life against the collective, Dave, when trying to retrieve him.
Say what u will, but my heart went out to Ariana. Poor woman is being torn in half.
"I love you," she whispered. "And where you go, I follow. So, if you love me, you will fight tooth and nail to stay alive because if you die, I'll be right behind you so we can be together beyond the veil.
I feel bad for Tony, but as the saying goes, dont let someone have to tell you more than once they don't want you. He knew what was up. I hope the fates find him a fated mate soon.
If Navuh has Khiann, I am not sure what role Eluheed plays other than to annoy the heck out of me. 🤔What happened to the clan using the judge to check people intentions before letting them join in? Screening Eluheed would have disclosed some "very" useful information.
I find it funny that Eluheed and Tamira are suspicious of the clan' intentions, but the clan is not suspicious of them. These people were all living in Navuh compound for crying out loud!
They're busy side-eyeing Ariana for loving Navuh.
Seems like everyone, knew what Losham was capable of, including Navah. Interesting....
Better and Better but I know this only means we're getting closer to the end!

The book count for this series may seem daunting since this is the 102nd book, thankfully the way IT Lucas organizes the series is by having the books are set in 3-4 books in a mini-series that revolves around a main couple. There are often side characters & couples that you will see develop along side the main couple. The series does have an overarching storyline that continues through all the books so it is best to read them in order. These books are also told from the POV of multiple individuals, even many of the side characters or members of previous highlighted coupled. Each chapter clearly identifies who is telling their story so it is easy to follow.
Oh my goodness! This book is all about the rescue of Tula off the island. There is a plan…. That almost goes off without a hitch. But then a very large pivot is needed, and way more than only Tula is rescued. This one has a whole lot of questions still leftover, and I really think I am right on my theory of where our missing mate is.
Book 102 has to be the most revealing book in the entire series. It is so good! I actually teared up when Areana met her sons and grandson. And then the reunion with Annani and the twins. It was very touching. I'm guessing, but I think what Navuh is hiding on the island is Khian. I thought up until the end of this book, that Eluheed was going to find Khian. Now I think his story is leading elsewhere. I can't wait for the next book. This series can never end. You know that I.T. Lucas, right? Lol
All I can say is WOW! Just when I think I've figured out what happens next, Isabell surprises me. I would've never expected this to happen. I love the way she writes the rescue scenes because I like the suspense. I can't believe I'm still reading this series at book #102. She keeps things interesting by creating new characters and introducing them with these fantasic rescues. Great writing and creative episodes keep the reader engaged. I can't wait to see what happens in book #103. Bravo Isabell!
I am not fond of Tula. She lacks insight and holds onto her judgments which blinds her to others. I am interested to see what happens with the new immortal from the island. I am glad that finally the clan captured their main enemy. The Goddess from the island annoys me. I know she is the true love mate for the main bad guy. In spite of that, he is not a nice person and causes a lot of harm to others. He kept her in captivity for 5000 years. She needs to wake up and move on with her life. At least the story is moving along now.
Love this series ❤️ so much 😍 I will never get tired of these immortals.
Though, the suspense is totally k!//ing us 😱 But I've got a pretty good idea what Navuh wants to talk about with Annani. Anyone else figured it out too? Remember that vault and what's buried in Navuh's basement now with all that sand?! 🔔🔔🔔 Yup! It starts with a K and ends with N ! Ohhh gosh 😯 I don't know how this will work out for either parties but nothing good thats for sure. Especially when you need to negotiate with your biggest enemy Ever.
Must Read Series 📚
Enjoy

The suspense of the rescue happening was worth the wait because this book definitely delivered the rescue, but also so much more. The clan saves the life of the enemy and frees the lives of the harem on a much bigger scale. Who takes over the island Lokam or Dave. Both seem to be using each other but to what extent? Hopefully we get those answers within the next book. Because yes we are left with a cliffhanger…..be prepared for it because it’s great!
I am super excited about book 102 in this series! I can't believe Ms. Lucas can keep making each novel better than the last. This novel is pretty much all about Tula's rescue and what happens when the Fates intervene. Surprise after surprise after surprise. Edge of your seat book, couldn't put down, and I literally read in one afternoon. Your going to love it! And as always a HUGE cliffhanger that keeps you wanting more.
This is a fantastic book in a series that just keeps giving. The plan is to rescue Tula, but it falls apart and in the end Navuh is a guest of the clan. Also all the members of the harem have been rescued and now live in the village.
When I started reading this series, I had no idea that it would be up to book 102, and I would be waiting on book 103. I love this series.
Dark Island Revolt (Children Of The Gods Book 102) by I T Lucas. The rescue of Tula goes wrong when Areana falls and Navuh dives after her. Areana is caught and Navuh is seriously hurt. Tula insists on going back for all the ladies and the 2 men. All are safely transported to the Clann’s village with Navuh and Areana going to the Clanns Keep.
Dark Island Revolt, book 102 of I.T. Lucas's The Children of the Gods series is wonderfully written. The characters are amazing. After 102 books Mrs Lucas still loves the characters and it shows through her writing. I can't think of another author that has accomplished writing over a hundred books in a series that keeps the characters fresh and the readers wanting more with every page.
My mind is so twisted from this book! There was a moment where my heart went out for Navuh, but only momentarily. Not to give too much away, but the unexpected and the excitement clashed to create a cosmic explosion! If you haven’t started reading this book yet then what are you waiting for?
Between the anticipation of meetings of long-lost family members and love stories unfolding, this one was extremely captivated! Now, looking forwardtk th s n ext book. After reading the caption- OMG,! is it Khiann in Navuh's vault?????? Impatiently waiting yo find out!
When you put one or more goddesses in a room together ,what do you get ? A lot of great books by I.T. Lucas . I know that some day they will end , but I hope it isn't too soon . So many characters and situations that has kept me happily reading when I can't sleep .
A successful project is completed but with unknown consequences that no one but a single individual will know. That’s a powerful bargaining chip to keep in mind when the person who knows needs to negotiate a better outcome. However there are some things that need to be addressed first.
I continue to enjoy this series and will keep my diligence on reaching the end even if it is another 50 books! I am so excited to read the next few books coming. So well-written and easy to comprehend the plots of each new adventure, each new fated love story and each old one to recover! Love, love, love!
This book was fabulous. Tula is waiting on the cliff side waiting to be rescued. Will Areana be able to let her friend go? There is so much packed into this book. It was the best book by far.
Wholly molley what a book. So much happens and some very unexpected things occurred. I could not put this book down. It was a rollercoaster ride that is not over yet.
How can a series still shock you over 100 books in??? Stunning book, page turning and yes I dreaded finishing it, as good as the 1st book, in fact better as I am so invested in this, cannot wait for the next one!
I couldn't put this book down! There are a lot of surprises that kept me glued to the page. And the ending was a killer. Ms. Lucas has a way of keeping us in suspense and dying for more. I loved all the changes and the anticipation of what us to come.
I absolutely enjoy these books. Each one draws you in deeper. Everything gets addressed. Characters are awesome. Just when you think it can't get better it does and draws you in even more.
Over the last few books, I've had my ideas on what Navuh was building and why... now I know I was right! Lol. I love this series so much and can not wait for the next book to come out. I don't want this series to ever end.
It feels like it took forever to reach this point. I am so happy that there was finally something exciting that happened in this series after many books that moved the story at a snails pace. Right from the beginning I was sucked in and read it straight through.
THIS is the book we’ve all been waiting for! So many important things happened! Loose ends tied. up - new ones started! New threads - new loves - new lives! Leaves me panting for the next installment!!! Isabell you are the real Clan Mother❤️
I wouldn’t have thought to still be reading these after 102 books, but the author is very good at keeping things interesting- just when you think you have it figured out.. boom it changed. Keep it up!
