I got the privilege of getting an early copy of Karen Oke’s new book🤭 and might I say, you guys are in for a life changing story!! This book is being released on December 31st, 2025! It’s the perfect way to ring in the new year by purchasing this book and holding onto the truths you read during this next year!!

Another amazing book by this wonderful author!

This book was passionate and poetic! I felt so connected to the characters as they faced the battles they were against. It is inspiring and uplifting but also has hard topics that will cause you to feel the heartbreak of each character!!

I cried, took notes, and wrote lots of quotes in my prayer journal!!

The novel included themes of:
🤎 Surrendering again!
🤎 Growing through past hurts!
🤎 Forgiveness through painful experiences!
🤎 How God will use what you have been through to help others!

Restored hearts took me on a deeply spiritual journey of healing, restoration, and a redefined understanding of love.

WHAT I LOVED:
• The scriptures in each chapter — my favourite being Psalm 34:18, it never came alive the way it did here.

• The slow-paced healing — It felt real. The gradual acceptance, the quiet forgiveness, and the gentle reconciliation mirrored real-life healing so beautifully.

• The portrayal of prayer — not as a rigid system, but as a relationship that evolves through different seasons.

This book taught me that our fears can quietly shape our reality when we refuse to surrender them. The MMC’s fear of repeating past mistakes slowly pushed him into becoming the very thing he was running from, such a powerful reminder.

“As long as you hide it, it’ll own you.”
Restored Hearts reminded me that God is still in the business of rebranding men and rebuilding broken people. A truly beautiful and faith-soaked read.

This was a heartfelt read🤗🥺
Elias wasn't a hard character to love, just someone carrying old wounds a little too silently.  Watching him slowly confront what he had buried, learn, and choose growth was beautiful to read

‎While Noelle, on the other hand, carried so much grace and strength. I loved how she held her ground, focused on healing, and chose wisdom even in moments that couldn’t have been easy. There was just this quiet beauty in her journey.

‎Overall, this story is about healing, second chances, and love that grows deeper when surrender and faith are involved. It’s gentle, reflective, and full of heart💕

Restored Hearts is a faith-filled story about love, healing, and the quiet but powerful work of God in a marriage.
We meet Elias and Noelle, a couple bound by love but challenged by wounds that didn’t disappear just because they said “I do.” Elias is a Christian man wrestling with a past that refuses to stay buried, constantly battling guilt, shame. Noelle, on the other hand, is a woman of faith who has lived a protected and privileged life, yet has learned to trust God wholeheartedly, even when life begins to stretch her beyond comfort.
Restored Hearts gently explores what happens when unresolved pain begins to affect a marriage and how faith, prayer, and God’s grace can bring light into the darkest places. The story doesn’t rush healing or pretend restoration is easy. Instead, it shows growth as a process sometimes painful, sometimes humbling, but always purposeful.
One of the strongest aspects of this book is how scripture is woven naturally into the story. This is the kind of book that will make you pause, reflect, and reach for your journal because the quotes and lessons hit close to home, to be honest I jotted so many things down while reading.
Another thing I truly appreciated is the character development, especially how God uses circumstances to teach, reshape perspectives, and mature hearts. Both characters experience growth in different ways, and it’s beautiful to witness how God works individually and together to bring restoration.
I learnt so many things from this book , I'll mention few: God uses our comfortable seasons for deep transformation, healing requires honesty and surrender and also restoration is possible when hearts are yielded.
Restored hearts is a book I totally recommend, it's a must read!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to read and review this beautiful story.
I wish you a joyful and successful release day may this book reach every heart that needs it.

What happens when a marriage centred in God looks like it's going south?

Meet Elias and Noelle, a newly married couple who has tied the knot under God's authority.

Everything was going smoothly until it wasn't. Noelle, being a virtous woman, noticed the changes in her husband, Elias, spoke to him about it, but there was no change.

Elias is a christian man who has a past he's yet to move on from, and this pain has developed more even in marriage, constantly battling guilt and shame.

Will their marriage still stand strong?
Is God still the centre of it all?
Well... find out when you grab your copy

This book explores how unresolved issues and pain begin to affect a marriage and how prayer, patience, faith, and putting in the work lightens up the dark places.
This story shows shows us that restoration isn't easy and healing is a gradual process. It shows us that growth as a process can be sometimes painful, humbling but it's always purposeful.
One of my favourite aspects of this book is how relevant scripture is woven into the story. This is the kind of books that will make you pause, think deeply and reach for your journal to put in your thoughts because the quotes and lessons hit close to home, I jotted a lot of lessons while reading.
The character development in this book is top notch👌🏽 both characters experienced growth in different ways, and it's so beautiful.

Restored Hearts is a book is totally recommend, its a must read!

What happens when two people who are in love with each other, get married and along the way things begin to unravel in their lives that threaten the very love they fought and swore by. Will pride, un-forgiveness and guilt stop them from staying true to their love?

Restored Hearts follows the story of Elias, who is a strong willed person, with different shadows lurking around his life, begging for answers and Noelle, a prayerful woman who is faith filled with a longing for the things of God, trying to navigate God's design for their marriage.
I loved the character development, the plot, the way Karen infused scriptures in her writing, how relatable the characters are and the deep lessons embedded in the book.

Some lessons I got from reading this book are that;
⭐ God is the only one that can change a man and He knows the best way to carry out is plan.
⭐ Dwelling on the past robs us of the joys of today.
⭐ Forgiveness brings about immense blessings and total healing.
⭐ God will sometimes bring us out of our comfort zones to achieve his divine purpose for our lives.
I would gladly recommend this book to readers.
I got the privilege of receiving an early copy of Restored Hearts from the author and here's my honest review. thank you for the opportunity.

Christian book rec?clean/no spice?  I got you one.

‎We've heard about the phrase "marriage is a scChristianhool on it's own" but any school  that isn't built on the foundation of God, problems won't be easily resolved.

‎The book centers around Elias and Noelle, two people who love deeply but each struggle to communicate one way or the other. Noelle is a reflective, faith driven lady and gentle lady that kinda made her my favorite. At the same time ,we have Elias who is more reserved and complex, carrying a trauma that shaped his decisions and actions in his marriage.

‎What stood out to me was how the characters felt real . Their choices aren't easy to agree with but it kinda made sense emotionally. The story understands that faith doesn’t erase struggle, and love doesn’t automatically fix broken places. Instead, it explores waiting, growth, and God’s guidance in a way that feels sincere and unforced.

‎Overall, The Elias and Noelle Story is for readers who appreciate faith-centered romance, emotional realism, and characters who feel like real people learning, stumbling, and becoming. It isn't a very loud story that'll be displaying their love upandan, but it'll sit with you and make you reflect.

Restored Hearts is a spirit filled prophetic love story that dives deep into healing, God’s grace, and restoration. This isn’t just a romance book, it’s a valid reminder that God can fix what we think is too broken and restore what we thought is lost.

This story follows Elias and Noelle, a couples whose love runs deep while still carrying their own wounds, and pains while dealing with silent struggles.

Elias — he carries guilt and uncertainty, trauma from the past, and the feeling of unworthiness, he was always with the thought that he didn’t deserve love, not from Noelle or even God!!

And Noelle, she’s strong, prayerful, spiritually grounded and I love her unwavering trust and obedience in God. The way she always turned to God if she’s in the least bothered… that stood out to me. These couples weren’t perfect but they were not hopeless either. Their flaws was their strength.

This book explores very deep themes of healing, family bonds, trust, faith, marriage, friendship and God’s restoration.

This book is a great reminder that God moves in ways we can’t predict. He sees us, our struggles, our fears and He would restore and heal us in a way we wouldn’t imagine.

This is a powerful and heart-warming story. I recommend💞❤️

Restored Hearts is a gentle, faith-filled story about God’s power to restore not just marriages, but hearts. While it focuses on Noelle and Elias’ journey, it also speaks hope to anyone trusting God to redeem lost time and heal broken places.

Noelle’s faith and quiet strength deeply moved me. Watching her carry so much emotionally and still choose obedience and growth was both heartbreaking and beautiful. Elias’ character development was equally powerful, seeing him slowly surrender to God and allow real change was one of my favorite parts of the book🥺

What stood out most for me was the gentleness woven throughout the story. Restored Hearts is tender, reflective, and rooted in faith.

This is a definite recommendation from me✨

Definitely a tear jerker.

Wealth, pride, and comfort built their marriage - with God a part of it. Pain, heartbreak, and loss of trust broke apart what they knew yet they still loved one another. Restoration begins within each of them as they live apart but still love one another. Both growing and submitting their selves fully before God and repairing with Him in the center. What they become is better than what they had before. Beautifully written. Triggering if selective to domestic violence.

Okay, but why did Restored Hearts gently grab my heart, sit me down, and start doing deep spiritual work unprovoked??? 😭💔

This long-anticipated third book in the prophetic love series is a standalone novel that felt subtly personal. Like I wasn’t just reading about the FMC and MMC, Noelle and Elias; I was walking with them through the cracks of a marriage trying to breathe again.

Noelle? That woman is a diva. Soft yet strong, flawed yet deeply reliant on God.🥹
Elias? Complex and very frustrating at times—Like, man, you're a husband now, stop being so cryptically closed off. 😮‍💨
I'm deeply happy to have journeyed through their redemptive arcs.

What truly pulled me under was how immersive the story felt. The descriptions of places, food, quiet moments, even the emotions each character felt... everything was so vivid I could see it, feel it, almost taste it.

And let’s talk about the lyrical writing style.
The kind of prose you slow down to savour because every paragraph carries weight. I highlighted so many quotes, and the Bible verses woven into the story? Perfectly placed. Relevant. Deeply touching. They didn’t feel forced or mechanical.

Restored Hearts goes beyond romance.
It’s showed me surrender. Forgiveness. Tearing apart and building up—vital for the healing process. Letting God into the ruins and trusting Him to rebuild even when it feels too late.

If you love faith-filled stories with emotional depth, flawed but redeemable characters, and prose that lingers long after you close the book… Especially if you're a waiting single or a newly wed who wants to build a home that honours God, please don’t scroll past this one.

Restored Hearts was written from a place of deep faith and obedience. This prophetic love story reflects what God can rebuild when two people surrender their brokenness to Him. It is a reminder that no past is too messy, no heart too wounded, and no love too far gone for God’s redeeming power. This story is for anyone in a waiting season, believing God for restoration, healing, and a love rooted in Him.
