This book contains 3 different couples on different journeys, with the same endpoint. The first book, Avi & Thea is about 110 page, Kayla & Cody is about 85 and the third book, Lucy & Josh is a meaty 250 pages. Each story is well thought out and smoothly written and edited.
Mild spoilers below, but once you know this is a 2.0 book, you pretty much know where it’s going. Hopefully someday there’ll be a huge 2.0 failure 🤔. The fireworks could be spectacular 💥.
I found the third book, Lucy & Josh to be the most interesting, with Josh first approaching the Marriage 2.0 organization to help step up his game. They prescribe a “date rape” drug for himself where his alter ego comes to the fore. It’s wonderfully successful for both. However, after events, Josh has no memory of the events which leaves them both a little hollow. So they decide to experiment. Both Lucy & Josh spend some time with a 2.0 therapist. I found this story line very interesting, with lots of potential 👍.
I was disappointed in the 3 stories because they all ended in consensual hotwifing. There wasn’t any conflict or intrigue (except for Lucy trying to figure out what was up with Josh when he was a stud). No cheating, no relationships in trouble. HEAs all around.
Excellent 4 Star reads and very good value.
