Monsters never rest, and neither can the one who hunts them.
Eras lives alone by choice, stalking the creatures others fear. Armed with skill, training, and sheer will, he defends the wilderness from what lurks in the shadows. But the greatest battle he faces is the one within.
Now, with gods trapped in mortal form and an ancient labyrinth stirring once more, the monsters are growing bolder. At the center of it all lies a cursed hope, and Eras knows there's only one path forward: enter the labyrinth.
Meanwhile, newcomers Ulrik and Esara have their own reasons for stepping into Argosia’s darkness. Esara will stop at nothing to heal her cursed brother, even if it means facing the minotaurs guarding the maze. But they aren’t the only ones chasing what lies at the heart of the labyrinth.
In a land where fallen gods play games and monsters wear many faces, who will survive the trials and claim what waits in the dark?

I’ve had this book on my TBR since I found out about it and finished the first in its series, Veil of Stone. Thrilled to be able to read an advanced copy of Crown of Horns and let me tell you I could not put it down! Sneaking in pages wherever I could. The action grips you and takes you along for the ride and the story moves you as you revisit previous characters and take on this new adventure with them. Sincerely enjoyed the character development and growth in this installment to the series.

Crown of Horns marks an engaging return to the world A.P. Beswick has already spent so much time making. And I loved Talia Beckett's and AP Beswick's latest tale. They make some smart choices about where to focus the story this time around.
One of the biggest strengths here is the character selection. I really enjoyed seeing familiar faces from the second book of the original series re-enter the spotlight, while also being introduced to a new perspective. There’s a satisfying sense of symmetry in how this second phase of the story is structured, and it feels intentional in a way that rewards returning readers.
I also appreciated their take on the classic labyrinth-style scenario. It’s a familiar fantasy setup on the surface, but the execution adds enough fresh tension and thematic weight to keep it from feeling derivative. Without getting into spoilers, there are several larger twists and underlying themes woven throughout that add depth and intrigue to the narrative.
Overall, Crown of Horns will especially appeal to readers who enjoy character-focused epic fantasy with layered plot developments and thoughtful structural callbacks to earlier entries in a series. I’m definitely curious to see where this next phase of the story goes.

I had the pleasure of reading Crown of Horns as an ARC before it came out. The new series Chronicles of Argosia makes you question who the real monsters truly are. I highly recommend picking up the first book a Veil of Stone and starting a new fantasy series based on retellings of Greek Mythology. Crown of Horns follows Eras, Esara, and Ulrik as the battle their way through the labyrinth to find the treasure at the center. As always with AP Besiwck's books the action starts right away and keeps you hooked through the end. With new twists in each chapter that you don't expect you don't want to stop reading until the last page. I can't wait to see what the authors do with the rest of this series.

I was very lucky to receive an ARC and wow, what a second book!

"Monsters never rest, and neither can the one who hunts them."

In Crown of Horns, we return to the shadowed lands of Argosia, and the atmosphere is thicker than ever. This isn't just a story about a maze; it’s a story about what we’re willing to sacrifice in the dark. Beswick and Beckett are a powerhouse duo. They’ve managed to take the DNA of the Levanthria series and evolve it into something uniquely haunting. Grab your sword and some courage—you’re going to need it for this one.

picking up not long after the previous book in the series. this one also brings back a fan favourite character from the Levanthria series perfectly blending old and new characters into one great mystery. Can they conquer the secrets of the labyrinth or will the Gods and monsters win
