Three couples. One wild party. A whole lot of heat. The boys of Extracurricular Activities take on Halloween, frat-house style.
Expect a playful, campy, high-heat romp full of clumsy role-play turned scorching, frat-party chaos gone primal, and gothic decadence dripping with possession.
Please This is a 35k novella of three interconnected short stories featuring Nate & Eric, Chet & Mark, and Sam & Jesse, with appearances by Cam, Ansel, Amanda, and Mark's a-hole dad.
Neve Wilder lives in the southern U.S., where the summers are hot and the winters are...sometimes cold. She is a mom to three rambunctious weebeasts who have joined forces in a mission to carpet the family home with toys and small items that really suck to step on at six in the morning.
She reads promiscuously, across multiple genres, but her favorite stories always contain an element of romance. Incidentally, this is also what she likes to write. Slow-burners with delicious tension? Yes. Whiplash-inducing page-turners, also yes. Down and dirty scorchers? Yes. And every flavor in between.
Neve isn't keen on being limited to one type of story or a single genre. If you enjoy slow burns and musicians, the Rhythm of Love series might be up your alley.
You'll find high heat, crackling sexual tension, and a variety of angst levels in the new adult Extracurricular Activities series that begins with Want Me.
Like smart-ass antiheroes and super steamy thrill rides? Stay tuned for the upcoming Wages of Sin series, which begins with Bad Habits.
If you need a good cry, Center of Gravity is a standalone age-gap slow burn that examines grief, enduring love, and imperfect characters doing their best (or worst, as it were) in shitty situations.
Neve fervently believes David Bowie was the sexiest musician to ever live, and she's always game to nerd out on anything from music to writing.
And finally, she believes that love conquers all. Except the heat index in July. Nothing can conquer that bastard.
💋 Thirst Trap – Jesse & Sam Rocky De Terror as some kind of Dr. Frank-N-Furter… “Landon from Thrice Bound by Oath” A book they both love. ★ Break-and-enterie masks-on sex. 😏
🎭 Scare Duty – Mark & Chet Achilles and Patroclus energy, if they’d met at a frat party, but with a happy ending 🙏 ★ Fake blood as lube. Yes. You read that right.
🧛♂️ Bite Me – Nate & Eric Louis and Lestat, but make it dirty, tender, and just unhinged enough. ★ “Watch yourself in the mirror while I fuck you.” 🥵
Well, damn the devil to hell — it was so good (and sweaty 😏) to see all these guys again! Stamina and imagination are clearly their middle names, because these men never show up half-heartedly. The chemistry, the filth, the laughter — all of it? Absolute perfection.
If I had one tiny complaint, it’s that this novella takes place during Book 3 — the time when no one knew about Jesse and Sam yet — so there’s quite a bit of time spent contextualising things we already knew. Not a deal-breaker, but it made parts feel slightly repetitive. Also, the dynamics here came across a bit different — rougher, sharper — still hot as sin, just less tender than I expected.
Personally, I’d have loved this to be set further in the future — maybe three years post-college — to see how these couples have grown, settled, and still managed to keep that spark alive. That would’ve been pure gold.
But let’s be real: I’m absolutely over-analysing smut here 😅 because make no mistake — this was amazeballs, filthy, sweaty, deliciously hot smut at its finest. Neve Wilder, you never miss. 🔥🔥🔥
Eric is downright filthy, and I love every second of it. 🫣 I’d devour a hundred books if he showed up in each one. The other stories were good too, but nothing tops Eric and that mouth of his—and honestly, I’m already satisfied with just that.🤭
Well damn, what a deliciously fun and spicy novella 🔥 Eric remains the king of sex even after all these years since I first read Want Me. Now I want to reread these books immediately.
This novella offers a fun senior-year catch-up with the Extra Curricular boys, revealing new moments that weren’t shown in the main series. Packed with character crossovers, it’s meant as a bite-sized treat for longtime fans - so perfect for me.
This of course is going to trigger a reread of this series because I LOVE THEM!!!!
Thirst trap - Jesse & Sam Scare duty - Mark & Chet Bite me - Eric & Nate
Things to expect in this book are: Book 6 in series Novella MM college senior year Cameos & Crossovers Series Easter Eggs Nostalgic reunion vibes Spicy times & dirty talk Camboy scene Role play Golden retriever to Dom vibes Halloween maze Primal play & rough play Public s*x Fake blood as lube S*x toys Mirror s*x
This Halloween themed novella was a fun way back into the EA world! We follow the couples Nate & Eric, Chet & Mark, and Sam & Jesse one Halloween night where all three pairs have some special plans of their own before and during the Halloween party coming their way. This was a fun novella that gives us a little bit more of these characters. You definitely want to check it out if you enjoyed the series! Prepare for plenty of shenanigans, ridiculous and spicy!
This is so weird. I think Goodreads is glitching! I’m trying to log the novel I just finished but it keeps automatically switching it to this gay Halloween smut book I’ve never even heard of? Definitely not something I’d look twice at. So weird. I’m rating it four stars, but remember that I’m really rating the other book I read, and not this one, which I haven’t read and never would!
Absolutely LOVED getting to revisit these couples again! Want Me really got me into MM and has remained the book I recommend the most. I loved getting to see Nate and Eric again especially but honestly the whole thing was so fun.
My rating is probably slightly inflated thanks to original series being one of my all time faves, but I really don't think you'll be disappointed even if you meet these guys for the first time.
The only qualm I have is the Mark and Chet part - the roughness and primal play elements just didn't ring true to them and vibes they had going in their story. Where the other pairs' short stories were smoothly incorporated into their overall arks, this one felt inconsistent with the rest and slightly off.
On the other side, Ansel made his appearance, and I enjoyed every little while he was present. I'm hopeful for his own story (again), and at the same time a bit worried about this possibility. I realized for a first time how much I expect of him and his author, maybe unreasonably so... So, dear Neve, if you already know what Ansel's deal is and want to tell us his story, I'm sending all the good juju I have lying about to your keyboard, and wish you a lot of storytelling luck!
This novella was the perfect Halloween treat, coming from a person who's mostly indifferent towards the holiday. But Bite Me gloriously captured the atmosphere of Halloween, with plenty of sexy shenanigans to spare.
As for the stories, Thirst Trap was the perfect mix of sizzling hot, unexpectedly sweet and even hilarious right at the end. Overall, it was great catching up with Sam and Jesse.
Meanwhile, Scare Duty was so on point for Mark and Chet: fighting and fucking with equal enthusiasm. And the ending there was wholesome.
Finally, Bite Me was absolutely the right story to end this novella with —ending it where it all started, with Nate and Eric. I loved their kinky antics, the trust they both had, but most of all, their complete love for each other.
Such a great way to return to the world of Extracurricular Activities, honestly.
Turns out I was not in the mood for this. Of the three extracurricular activities books I read, I am really only a Want Me stan. Eric supremacy all the way. ✊
I tried reading Jesse and Sam and it was so unsexy, so I went straight to Eric and Nate. Yes, it was better, but then they brought out a vibrating butt plug that Nate had to wear at the party and Eric controlled. I don’t know, maybe I am an anomaly, but the vibrating butt plug micro trope has never been sexy to me. It must be to many people because it is so overdone. So I gave up. I love steam, like to the point where I don’t read closed door romances. But I realized I do need a bit of a plot. This was not serving me. But I am sure most people will enjoy it immensely, so carry on!
I really enjoyed this little glimpse of the boys from the EA series. Not going to lie though I def wanted more of Eric and Nate. While I love Sam and Jesse and Mark and Chet, Nate and Eric will always be the one of my favorite couples and the chemistry between them is some of the best I’ve read. We got to see a little glimpse of Ansel and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we get his book soon.
I was worried we wouldn’t hear out of these boys again! And Ms. Wilder never fails to amaze me with her story telling! All three parts were great but when she writes about Nate and Eric I can just feel the love she has for them! As I have said in the past, I could read about them every single day like a damn soap opera, LOL Thank you Neve, I loved the book and will selfishly pray for more! A wedding maybe? Just imagine that honeymoon, holy shit!
Also, way too much intrigue around Ansel. I am on my knees hoping and praying that Neve is teasing his book! I’m trying to figure out what the premise is gonna be. An MFM with Amanda maybe? Maybe John? Maybe a random?!? IDK BUT I AM SO IMPATIENT!!!
Regardless, it felt so good to get fed this weekend! I love you Neve!
If you haven't read the Extracurricular Activities series, this book will make little sense to you beyond hot frat boys, so you should read the others first. If you have read the series, you should know what you're in for. It's the best treat this Halloween!
I love this series so much and thoroughly enjoyed an extra look into their lives. Want Me was my first MM romance. I’ve read all the books at least three times, but Want Me at least six. I loved that this was a fun, sexy night in each of their stories. Even though it gave updates on some of their challenges, it was really just a night of fun and love ❤️
I loved being back with these boys so much! I can’t wait for what’s to come ! Deliciously spicy, so cuteeee, and just a short little catch up with our favorite group. An absolute must read if you’re up to date with this series!
I’ve read the books in this series over the years as they’ve been released and even re-read a couple of them. What a treat to come across this newest one: short, bite-sized, playful bit of fun. Makes me want to go back to the beginning and read the series all over again.
Nate and Eric will always have my heart. I adore them so much. This was a fun little novella that gave me just enough of our favorite couples. I’m also still so intrigued by Ansel and am really hoping we get a book for him one day!
It was so fun to see our old.friends again...I had to go back and remind myself of everyone's story since it haf been a while! Yeah, this one was kind of "filthy" but not in a bad way! I look forward to many more books from this author!
