After Savannah is gang-raped and left for dead by her boyfriend, teammates, and even her so-called friends, she and her stepbrother/lover Tripp barely survive. What follows is part revenge fantasy, part descent into madness. Savannah’s dreams of an eerie old woman promising vengeance through cursed dolls mark the beginning of her transformation into something dark and supernatural — the “Dollmaker.”
The second half of the novel shifts from psychological trauma to graphic retribution. Tripp’s devotion turns disturbingly symbiotic — they kill and eat one of her attackers, and from there, the story descends into twisted domestic horror. The “sex carnival” sequence at Delirium ties back to Savannah’s haunting vision, blurring reality and the supernatural as she finally embraces her role as the bringer of punishment.
The final act ties back to the series’ title: Nightmares on Lull Lane. The suburban calm hides horror, and Savannah’s new identity as the Dollmaker ensures the nightmare isn’t over — it’s only beginning.

I'm thrilled to share this fascinating book that immerses readers in the complex and captivating world of Noll (Nightmare on Lull Lane). Just a heads up: this series dives into some intense themes, so it's wise to review the trigger warnings before you begin your journey! The storytelling is bold and unapologetic, seamlessly blending splatterpunk, erotic horror, and traditional horror elements, so prepare for a wild ride without guaranteed happy endings.
For me, this was my first experience with this author, and I found myself completely captivated right from the start. The book is fast-paced and really engaging. It delves into the dynamics of high school, featuring familiar faces like cheerleaders and football players. Savanna, the cheerleading captain, faces an unexpected twist that turns her world upside down! Enjoy the adventure!
