The biggest risk isn't telling a secret—it's keeping it.
It was a simple arrangement. No strings, no feelings, no complications. Just stolen moments in the dark when the world isn't watching.
Now I'm standing on his doorstep two weeks before Thanksgiving, breaking every rule we made. Ten years of loving him in the dark never prepared me for waking up next to Griffin Hall. But somewhere between shared meals and kisses on the couch that feel so much like a life I could have, I fell all the way in love with my best friend's younger brother.
When the world catches up to us, I'll have to choose—keep hiding, or finally fight for him.
Midnight and Mistletoe is a best friend's brother, secret relationship, friends-to-lovers Christmas romance featuring small-town charm, ten years of unspoken love, forced proximity, and one very determined sprig of mistletoe.

Midnight and Mistletoe, set concurrently with the first book Frost and Fire, tells Griffin ‘Finn’ Hall and Foster ‘Fox’ Crue who have had a secret ten year situationship. When Fox finds the walls closing in on him while his band is on hiatus, he road trips it to Vermont to see Finn and decides to stay until Thanksgiving, but as time passes Fox and Finn each separately realize that their feelings are much deeper yet seem to be unable to find the courage to admit it too each other. Finn and Fox have great chemistry together and go through some great character development to get to their HEA. There is also some great secondary character development with the other members of the band along with some great world building for the town of Winterberry. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I can always count on Ana Ashley to deliver the most beautiful, heartfelt, and spicy holiday stories. The woman is a master at making us swoon with her characters.
I absolutely loved Finn and Fox. They were only supposed to be hooking up when the opportunity presented itself and then go on their merry way. But one night turned into another and before they knew it, ten years had gone by.
Finn had been in love with his brother’s best friend and bandmate for a very long time. He spent years pining for him until one “drunken” night at Fox’s hotel room changed everything. He had no idea how much that night would change his life.
It was supposed to be a casual thing. Fox didn’t know at what point the need to be close to Finn had become so strong. Driving across the country to spend time with him wasn’t something a hook up would do, yet it felt right.
Fox knew he had fallen in love with Finn, but he was too afraid to admit it. He just knew that he wanted to spend all of his time with Finn and the thought of being apart made his heart ache.
Finn knew he was on borrowed time with Fox. He knew that the perfect world they were creating in their little bubble would soon come to end. Fox would go back to California and whatever they had would be on hold until the next time they saw each other.
But the more memories they created, the more Finn yearned for them to be real. He was no longer satisfied with just stolen moments; he wanted more. However, he knew that would never happen and before he fell deeper, Finn needed to protect his own heart.
Fox never saw himself settling down with anyone, yet he couldn’t stop himself from imagining what his life would be like if Finn was in it. He could see himself waking up wrapped in Finn’s arms and holding his hand. The more he thought about it, the more he liked the idea. And he knew then what he had to do even if it scared the heck out of him.
But Fox didn’t count on things getting complicated when assumptions were made. His fear of letting his feelings be known almost cost him everything. He needed to speak up once and for all and let the chips fall. He loved Finn and it was time he showed him how much.
Finn waited ten years to finally have the love of his life for good. Not whenever the opportunity arose or for just a few moments. No. He had him for good and this time, he didn’t have to worry about hiding his feelings.
SWOON. This audio just made me swoon so many times. Alexander Cendese was magnificent narrating this book. He truly brought Fox and Finn to life.
I loved listening to Midnight and Mistletoe by Ana Ashley. Alexander Cendese did a fantastic job performing this audiobook. This is book two in the Christmas at Hall Farm series but you can read it as a standalone. Ana Ashley does a great job of giving you the information you need from book one, Frost and Fire. That’s a great book, too, so I recommend reading or listening to it.
This is a sweet but spicy romance where the two MCs have been carrying on a secret relationship for ten years. Both of them finally recognize that what they feel is love but they don’t want to tell each other because they’re afraid that will change things between them.
I love small town romance and this series has been fantastic so far. I was happy to learn that there will be another book next year.
A review copy of this audiobook was provided to me at my request. I voluntarily left a review and it was not influenced by the author or narrator.
This is another sweet, small town, very entertaining and easy to read story by Ana Ashley. Both characters are very sweet, a bit oblivious sometimes, not very good at communicating, and who have high chemistry and a secret relationship for a very long time. I loved reading about the development of their relationship. It's a cozy, christmassy book.
This is book 2 in the Christmas at Hall Farm series, and has the same timeline than book 1, but from a different couple's perspective.
Midnight and Mistletoe by Ana Ashley is the second book in her Christmas at Hall Farm series. I suggest you read the first one before this one because of reoccurring characters and goings on. Griffin Hall, or Finn, is Winterberry, Vermont’s town events coordinator and he is knee deep in getting ready for their big Thanksgiving and Christmas Festival Markets. His brother Sebastian is part of the world-famous band Hall of Fame and they have been making records and touring for 25 years. They always come back to his farm, Hall Farm, at Thanksgiving and spend a relaxing few days with their families. Many years ago, he warned the members of his band to stay away from his little brother, Finn, but he is a grown man of 39 now. One of those band mates is Foster Crue known as Fox. 10 years ago there was a spark between him and Finn which led to some hot love scenes but it never moved on to anything else as they both considered them hook-ups. Plus, Fox didn’t want to make Sebastian mad so they kept it a secret. With Fox in LA and Finn in Vermont they didn’t get together often and always on Fox’s schedule but their feelings were growing, even though they didn’t express them to each other. This year the band was on hiatus and Fox was getting restless staying in his apartment with Nikko, his brother and tour manager. He decided to take a trip to Wyoming but ended up driving all the way to Vermont to show up at Finn’s apartment at night with a sprig of mistletoe and they had a very welcoming reunion. Since it’s 2 weeks before Thanksgiving he asks to stay, staying in the apartment or dressing so he can’t be recognized when he goes out, and this is very odd. He never stayed more than a day or two before and Finn is having trouble figuring out what is going on, but he has realized that he loves Fox so he will enjoy it while he can. Fox cooks and makes bread for him, teases him about his love of romance books, have many talks together, and they have many hot love scenes. Meanwhile Nikko has called Fox but he doesn’t tell him where he really is. The Thanksgiving Festival is in full swing and Finn has duties there and when his best friend Taylen asks him to have their usual drinks he also lies and says he can’t, which starts to bother Taylen. Then something happens to the town square the day before Thanksgiving that could cause the cancelation of the Christmas Festival. But Sebastian has returned with the other members of the band to the farm and Finn has the idea that maybe they can hold it there. After many meetings with the Mayor, fire chief, and the others involved in planning the festival they go ahead with that idea which leads to many long days and nights for Finn since it will be here very soon. Fox has moved back to the farm because he needs to be seen there and not with Finn if they want to keep it a secret, and lots of lying is taking place but he secretly goes back to be with him every night. After a walk at the farm, he realizes that he loves Finn, and has for a very long time, but he doesn’t say anything to him. He just shows up. Finn is worried that this will be like every other time and he will leave which will devastate him. After the band has a meeting with their label in NYC he thinks that maybe they will go back on tour and he won’t see him for months. During this time both men have confided in their closest friends that they have been together and in a big scene after the end of the festival they are finally able to confess their love for each other. Luckily everything works out with Sebastian and with what is happening with the band so they can have the happy ending they both want. I really enjoyed this book. There is lots of snarky talk, fun happenings, and hot love scenes. Both men had loved each other for 8 of the 10 years they had been hooking up but didn’t realize it. It took Fox finally figuring out that Finn was who he wanted to be with and Winterberry where he wanted to stay to come to that conclusion. Finn had a crush when he first met Fox that quickly developed into more but he lived with their short hook-ups and didn’t date anyone else. When Fox came before Thanksgiving and stayed with him, he realized that he didn’t want him to leave but didn’t have much hope for him staying. Luckily the festival brought them together and their friends, family, and the townspeople helped them as much as they could. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like stories about a rock star and an event planner who lived 3000 miles apart but couldn’t stay away from each other and finally realize they love each other and are going to be together and make it work, all during the holiday festivals.
MIDNIGHT AND MISTLETOE (CHRISTMAS AT HALL FARM 2) di Ana Ashley
ENGLISH REVIEW: This book was a cozy read from page 1! I love stories set during Christmas season (here start with Thanksgiving), and I love reading stories set in small towns where everyone knows everyone because always give me that heartwarming feeling that sticks with me for days! 😍💚 The main characters in this story are Foster (Fox) and Griffin (Finn). I haven’t read the first book in the series, but from what I understood in this one, Fox is the bassist for a hugely famous rock band, and one of his best friends and bandmate is Bastian, Griffin’s older brother. Fox and Finn have been in a relationship for over ten years, keeping it a secret from everyone, including Griffin’s best friend, Taylen (the main character in the first book), and his entire family. Fox’s band has been around for twenty years and is hugely popular all over the world, but when the band members want to enjoy some peace and quiet, they return to Winterberry and spend time with Bastian and Finn’s family. Their parents always welcome all the band members and celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas together. The residents of Winterberry always treated the band members like family, and when they spotted them in town, they never said anything to the press, so the members could peacefully enjoy their short family vacation. In this book, Fox will spend two weeks locked up at home with Griffin in complete secret, until they both realize they’re in love. Griffin, however, can’t spend all his time with Fox because he has to organize the holiday celebration in the town square, just like every Christmas: there will be market stalls, a big Christmas tree, and music. But just a few days before the event is set to begin, there’s a major problem with some gas pipes, and nothing can be organized anymore. Fortunately, Griffin’s parents tell him he can organize everything at their house, but the change of location in a short time sends Finn into a mental breakdown. Thanks to his personal assistant, Emmett, he manages to handle everything, and Fox plays a key role in helping him unwind and relieve a lot of stress. This novel was wonderful, and, as always, Ana Ashley makes me dream of great love and heartwarming feelings. Her books are just perfect for me: low-angst and full of love and positive emotions.
I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Ten years of a secret love, rules broken at midnight, and an unforgettable sprig of mistletoe. A Christmas story that is tender, steamy, and packed with emotional tension. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If there is one thing I knew with absolute certainty, it’s that Ana Ashley never disappoints. When you open one of her books, you know you are in for a story written straight from the heart, and with Midnight and Mistletoe (the second book in the Christmas At Hall Farm series), she has completely outdone herself. I’m telling you right now: I recommend it 100%. It is the perfect holiday read—tender, passionate, and deeply emotional—that you absolutely need in your life.
📖 What is it about?
The story immerses us in an MM romance set in Winterberry, a charming Vermont town that has served as the secret holiday refuge for the biggest rock band in the country for many years: Hall of Fame. Living there is Finn (Griffin Hall), the town’s dedicated events coordinator, and Fox (Foster Crue), the band's bassist and the best friend of Finn’s brother, who happens to be the lead singer of the band. Finn and Fox have been in a strictly occasional and ultra-secret "relationship" for ten years, governed by three sacred rules that Fox made sure to schedule down to the last millimeter whenever he had some downtime from his tours: plan ahead, no staying the night, and never wake up together. It is an arrangement born of pure passion where love is not supposed to have a place. But this year, two weeks before Thanksgiving, Fox shows up at midnight on Finn’s doorstep with a sprig of mistletoe in hand and breaks every single rule.
💘 What stole my heart
The most wonderful thing about this novel is how Ana Ashley builds the emotional tension throughout the entire book; you suffer and fall in love in equal measure as you witness a massive, painful fear of losing each other: • Finn is the soul of the events in Winterberry, an incredibly generous man who, after two weeks of "playing house" with Fox, realizes he can no longer pretend this is just casual, and it terrifies him. Believing Fox holds all the control, will never leave his life in California, and will walk away as soon as the Christmas season ends, Finn starts putting up walls to protect his own heart. • Fox, far from being the cold and calculating man who calls the shots, turns out to be deeply vulnerable, carrying a crippling fear of not being good enough for Finn. His true dream is no longer filling stadiums; it’s a quiet life in Winterberry right next to Finn. Watching them experience such a cozy, domestic routine—sharing meals, reading out loud, and those midnight escapades where Fox slips away with the mistletoe in his pocket to go see Finn—is absolute bliss. And a special mention goes to the deep connection they have shared for ten years. Ana Ashley beautifully proves to us that this was never a passing whim, but a predestined bond. They were truly made for each other.
🌟 Conclusion
Midnight and Mistletoe is a masterpiece of the best friend’s brother, friends-to-lovers, and forced proximity tropes. It delivers its fair share of steamy, passionate scenes, perfectly balanced with a domestic tenderness that will melt your heart. It is a story about learning to communicate, tearing down the walls of fear, and fighting for the future you truly want. If you are looking for a book to wrap you up in the holiday spirit, move you deeply, and fill your chest with pure joy, you have to read it. Ana Ashley has done it again.
What happens when you fall for the guy you can't have? The guy your best friend told you was off limits. The guy you've convinced yourself was only casually convenient for the last decade. The guy in whose bed you've spent nearly every night since you for the month before Christmas. Naturally, you become the best secret boyfriend you can. So secret that the guy doesn't realize that's what you are. This is adulting success, right?
While neither Finn nor Fox are bad at communication, when it comes to their hearts, they are as silent as the snow on a winter night. Ana Ashley brings us a love story about two caregivers who refuse to let others care for them. Two independent men who are opposites by all outward measures but who are practically the same soul inside. Men who can manage and care for others but not themselves.
This is a story where love is expressed in small actions, simple courtesies, and silent support. For two men who use their words to change the world, they are surprisingly incapable of using their words to express their hearts. They don't miscommunicate, they simply refuse to communicate what they really want. They focus on their history instead of their future, because the future is unsure and unpredictable. They make decisions because of what was instead of what is or what could be.
This is a loving family, small town romance where the town and family invest in the people they love quietly, without drama or spectacle. The interference is limited to awareness and the offering of alternate perspectives, never in attempts to force an outcome. I greatly appreciated that the MCs were given the space to make their own mistakes while being assured no matter the outcome they would still be loved and supported.
If you love found family, small towns at Christmas, pining, slow burn romance with spicy sex, and multidimensional characters then you will enjoy both books in the Christmas at Hall Farm series. The first two books provide age gap, brother's best friend, forbidden love romances wrapped in a lower angst, almost cozy Holiday Bow.
Fox and Finn heated up my Kindle to the point of melting. Ten years they hid their evolving relationship. Ten years!!
In book one, Frost and Fire, we met Bastian Hall as he came off the road as lead singer of the successful band Hall of Fame. He met and fell for Taylin, the younger brother of his (deceased) friend.
In book 2, the timeline is the same but the focus is on Foster “Fox” Crue, the bass player and Griffin “Finn” Hall, Bastian’s younger brother. That means that events are the same, but the POVs different. I found this an interesting storytelling device.
The relationship between brothers (Finn and Bastian) complicates things for our MCs, as does Fox considering Bastian his best friend. (To add to the complexity, Finn and Taylin are best friends. What a tangled web!). But the angst both characters went through AFTER TEN YEARS about someone finding out was a bit excessive.
Throughout the series, the town of Winterberry, Vermont is more than just a setting. Winterberry is a character in its own right. And the eclectic folks that call the Christmas-obsessed town home are a hoot.
Unfortunately, guitarist Mik and his precocious daughter Kay do not figure as prominently in this book as they did in book one. Because Kay is a force of nature.
The “10 years ago” flashbacks in the last third of book took me out of the narrative and I wish there was a tidier way of getting Finn and Fox’s origin story into the book.
Nonetheless, I devoured this one and every time life forced me to put it down, found my mind wandering back to the town and our MCs. Four and a half stars.
I absolutely loved Finn and Fox! They are both wonderful characters, they are such sweethearts and are absolutely perfect for each other - despite them being unable to be honest about their feelings towards one another. The connection between them is obviously so much more than just physical. What started as a secret one and done was able to stay a secret, but regardless of their intentions, they became closer and their fascination with one another grew deeper over the past ten years until an attachment was unavoidable. Every interaction between them showed just how much they meant to one another - if only they'd be honest with themselves and one another! Eventually they do express their true feelings, their hearts desire, their devotion and adoration for one another, and this leads them to a long awaited and sweetly satisfying HEA. While Finn and Fox are trying to navigate their feelings, there are other things going on at the same time that cause disruptions and divide their focus, and all of it - along with some amazing secondary characters - makes this such an engaging and entertaining story. This is book two of the series and it runs parallel to the first book, but though it is not necessary to read the first book, it does give more insight to some of the other characters and how they all connect. This book is well written, it's full of heat, laughs, and emotions, and these characters will captivate you so much it'll leave you wanting more. I would absolutely recommend this book.
I received an ARC, this review is my honest, unbiased opinion.
For ten years, Fox and Finn have been keeping a secret. They’ve been hooking up, no strings attached, just stolen moments whenever they could. But when Fox shows up on Finn’s doorstep two weeks before Thanksgiving, he breaks every rule they’ve ever set. And it’s so easy for them to fall into a routine, even if it means keeping it a secret. But things have been changing. And truthfully these two have been falling for one another for a very long time. And it is finally time for them to acknowledge it. Decisions will have to be made, futures to consider. So can they finally be truthful for one another and admit what they truly want? I loved this story! Fox and Finn have been very clearly in love with one another for a long time. Loyal to one another for years and not really considering what it could mean. Basically, these two have been in a relationship for ten years without ever saying it. And with their lives changing, they finally stop to actually acknowledge the feelings they have. Yet, they are so scared to tell the other in fear. I loved getting to know these two and the love story that has been building up between them for so long. And when we finally get that happily ever after? It’s well deserved and so sweet. I am loving this Christmas series and I cannot wait for book 3!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I received a free copy. This review is submitted voluntarily.
Griffin (Finn) Hall is the event planner for the small city of Winterberry in which he lives and thus is responsible for dealing with the repercussions of dealing with a gas leak that has shut down the town square. Unfortunately, that was where the Thanksgiving Market and the Christmas Festival were to be held. Foster (Fox) Crue is the bass guitar player for Hall of Fame, a rock group currently on hiatus, and best friend to Finn’s older brother. They’ve secretly been having an affair for the past ten years.
The two MCs have been caught up in their affair with nobody being at all aware of it. This puts extra pressure on Finn who is working long hours moving the Market and Christmas Festival to a farm owned by Finn’s brother, Bastian. The news of the gas leak comes out while Fox is visiting Finn for the two weeks before Thanksgiving and he comes over every night at midnight for an assignation, causing Finn to miss out on sleep he needs. I found humour throughout the book, particularly in the early chapters, while later I the book it is still present but to a lesser degree given the seriousness of the situation. Until near the end, there is no real support for the relationship, given that it was a secret. Once the cat is out of the bag, there is much more generalized support for them. The book was really sweet and once the communication problem is resolved, it comes to a quick resolution.
I absolutely adore Ana Ashley’s characters! Time and time again, I get drawn into the stories and can’t stop reading until I reach the end. This one is a bit different because Finn and Fox have been having a secret relationship for TEN YEARS! That involves a bit of angst I wasn’t 100% prepared for but this story is sooooo good. The pining between these two. OMG. Let’s be honest here. Their relationship has evolved so much over the course of time, that they are not just FWB and it is anything but casual. It’s fascinating because this one runs side by side with the first book, so the people and situations are very tightly intertwined. After so many years hiding, these two almost don’t know how to handle their relationship in the light of day. My only complaint about this story is these two need to freaking communicate!!! They would have avoided quite a bit of heartache if they just talked about stuff. But honestly, this is very worth a read. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the guys in the band turn out.
4.75🌟 stars I love romances with some angst and a long fought battle to the HEA and this had both, plus it ended on such a positive note in not one, but two epilogues and the second was so darned cute!
I connected most with Finn/Griffin and felt really sad about how he let Foster/Fox make all the decisions about when and for how long they could be together. And all the lying to family and friends he had to do to keep their relationship under cover. Tough when your life is lived in the fish bowl of a small Vermont town where, as the town's events coordinator, you are out there and visible almost non-stop.
This story had a bit more steam than I needed, and details of the event coordinating, so central to Finn's persona, were something I could take or leave. Still, the angsty hidden romance with its constant threat of long separations grabbed me and the chuckles provided by the bonus epilogue sealed the book's fate as a really good MM romance read.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.
I loved the idea of two people who have spent years hiding their feelings finally having to face what they mean to each other. The secret relationship between Finn and Fox is full of longing and chemistry, and I really liked how their connection grows into something much deeper than either of them intended. The stolen moments are one thing, but sharing everyday life and getting a glimpse of what they could have together makes it harder for them to keep pretending their feelings aren’t involved.
There’s something especially lovely about a romance built on ten years of unspoken love, even when you want to shake the characters and tell them to be honest with each other! The small-town Christmas atmosphere adds to the cosy feel, while the humour, heat, and emotional moments keep things entertaining. A sweet, steamy romance about taking a chance on love instead of hiding it away.
I received a free ARC and this is my honest review.
10 years of secret moments that were supposed to be just for fun became so much more when Fox shows up at Finn’s Door with Mistletoe. This is a sweet, spicy and fluffy story that is perfect for the season. It takes place over Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. It has a great cast of characters and great world building. I fell in love with the goat! I am looking forward to more from Emmett.
I will need to go listen to book 1 now to hear Bastian and Taylin’s story. I never felt lost and it sounds like the stories take place at the same time but for optimal enjoyment you may like to read / listen to them in order.
*best friend’s brother *friend to lover *slow burn *small town *secret relationship *opposites attract *rock star / event planner
Ana Ashley excels at writing small town romance and this second book in the Christmas At Hall Farm didn’t disappoint. Finn and Fox having been in a secret relationship for 10 years without realising that they are actually in love. They also both seem to be unable to articulate their true feelings for each other. There’s plenty of distractions with the town Christmas Festival taking up all of Finn’s energy, a momentous life change for Fox and plenty of steamy times to avoid important discussions. Eventually they have an honest discussion leading to a long awaited HEA for these two wonderful men. I loved being back in Winterberry revisiting all the local characters and look forward to the next in the series.
This is the second book in the Christmas at Hall Farm series, and my only complaint is that I’ve had to wait a year to read it because it’s fabulous. This is Finn and Fox’s story, and I adored this couple from the start. They are so good together, though they should be after being in a relationship, in every way but name, for the past ten years. There were times when I just wanted to bump their heads together and tell them to talk, but then we wouldn’t have got this captivating story, with its bantering, funny moments, emotion, a sweet romance, and a lot of steam. The other band members, Emmett, friends, and the other delightful residents of Winterberry added the cherry on top of one of my favourite reads this year. I can’t recommend this book highly enough.
I loved Fox and Finn These two have basically been in a relationship for ten years and just never bothered to admit it to themselves 😂 They’ve been sneaking around, stealing moments together, and being there for each other for so long, but actually saying how they feel? Apparently, that’s the hard part
I loved watching them finally figure out that what they have is so much more than a no-strings-attached arrangement. They’ve clearly been in love for years, and it was lovely seeing them work through their fears and finally admit what they wanted. Their HEA was so sweet and definitely worth the wait
Griffin and Foster story was entertaining with a secret love, pinning for years, a helping small town, good friends, shenanigans and teasing, and a hard earned happiness. They have an interesting dynamic, but a small part of them is kept back as they aren’t officially together and believe there’s an expiration date. It has humour but also feelings and a little bit of heartache caused by fear and miscommunication. I liked their moments together, and I absolutely adored when they acknowledge their feelings and decided to fight for their happiness. I was delighted with all the changes in their lives, and can’t wait to see more of them in the future.
This is book 2 in the Christmas at Hall Farm series, and covers events that take place in book 1, but from a different couple's perspective. You could read the 2 books in either order. Both great reads at this time of year. It's low angst, as really there isn't much reason at all for Fox and Finn not to be together, apart from being typical men and not talking about things! They are hot together, and who wouldn't want to have a hot rockstar hiding out in their apartment showering them with affection for a couple of weeks?! Swoon ;-) For anyone interested in Mik and Tyler's story, that's in Heartstring, also a good read. I do hope Finn's assistant Emmett gets a story too. I received an ARC.
How awesome was this book. I did not want to put it down. It could of continued and I would have been happy being in this world with these characters. MM. Griffin (Finn) 39 yrs old and Foster (Fox) 45 yrs old. Finn is an Event Planner and Fox is a Rockstar. They have secretly being seeing each other for 10 years. Finn and Fox didn't realise they actually loved each other. Was good to see them come to the conclusion it needed to be out there. Fox is Bastien's Best Friend, Bastien is Finns older brother.
Small town Holiday season.
Like the first book in the series it draws you in you feel part of the story and you have an interest in the outcome of the characters lives. First book in the Christmas at Hall Farm was Bastien and Taylen
Recommend. You will not regret this book or the series. I am already looking forward to the Christmas at Halls Farm book for 2027.
I freaking adore Finn and Fox!! This book was the perfect thing to get me into the holiday season. I love it so much. Griffin and Foster are absolutely perfect together. I love how Fox constantly shows Finn he is there for him no matter what. The love these 2 have for one another is absolutely beautiful. I absolutely love these two. I now have to go back and read Bastian and Tay’s book bc I need more of this world, and cannot wait for Nikko and Auggie’s book!!
I received this arc from the author and these are my honest opinions.
Did I read this book in one day? Yes. Did I like it? Heck yes! Is there a cameo of my favorite goat? Luckily for the author, yes there is. The MCs are idiots and I wanted to yell at them for 90% of the book, which only goes to show how invested I was for their HEA, a.k.a. Getting their sh*t together. Ana Ashley created another pair of crazily good characters with complex personalities and all the snark in the world. I lovd the book!
ARC review Ana Ashley completely undoes me with her incredible storytelling. Every time I open one of her books, I already know I'll love it, yet she still finds a way to exceed my expectations. Fox and Finn’s story is just so heartbreakingly beautiful. Their love is stunningly deep, even if their circumstances are anything but. I loved watching them circle each other, trying to figure out where they stood, before finally taking the leap that landed them the love of their lives. A masterful slow-burn that I highly recommend to everyone.
Finn and Fox, my goodness their journey is a long one. After 10 years of secret hookups, something changes. They want to spend time together, they can’t stay away, their connection grows deeper and signs they’ve been ignoring become so much clearer. This is a story about two people falling in love and figuring out the other has been doing the same. I love these guys, their lack of communication, maybe not so much LOL
I loved Midnight and Mistletoe by Ana Ashley. It's the second book in the Christmas at Hall Farm series. I loved Finn and Fox’s story. I loved their chemistry! You could feel it. I also loved getting to know the rest of the band and the people Finn worked with. I can't wait to go back and read the first book in the series.
Oh wow. I think I like this even better than book 1. I love the overlapping time lines, and at the same time you can easily follow along without having read book 1. I recommend it, though. The bonus had me cracking up, and I'm excited for book 3.
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily gave my honest review.
OMG I totally loved Finn and Fox. It would really help if they would actually talk to each other rather than assume (you know what that means) what the other person thinks, wants, or feels. Really Fox, do you actually believe you believe your best friend Bastian would end you for loving Finn? The Christmas Festival sounds really nice, but winer in Vermont? NO WAY!!!!
Do not pick this book up unless you have nothing planned for the next few hours as you will not want to stop reading. This book is another delightful read by Ana I just love the worlds she creates and the people that live in it. Fox and Flynn’s 💕 story left me feeling happy and hopeful.
