• sunshine ballerina x grumpy mountain climber
• found family
• age gap
• opposite attract
• only one tent

Another book in the Hasting siblings series and in this one we meet Alec, the grumpy mountain climber with a haunted past who isn’t attached to anyone but his best friend and his climbing partner. We also meet Clementine, a ballerina in NYC who is trying to make her way to the top, yet cannot find her happy, even when she’s maxing her credit cards to try to buy her happy.

Clem hits rock bottom with her finances and doesn’t make a lead in a performance so she retreats to Alaska back to her summer vacation spot where her grandmother lives.

Alec and his best friend have just finished a climb to round out one of their biggest goals but Finn winds up in the hospital after Alec saves his life. The journey leads him to Alaska as well where Finn had previously purchased a lodge - owned by Clem’s family - to fix up for Finn to settle down in once he’s recovered.

Alec and Clem are polar opposites but make a perfect team for a climbing competition and we get to watch how they each learn from each other.

Only one tent gives a whole new meaning to the only one bed trope 🥵

Loved the characters and how they find their happy within themselves as well as each other.
