Three women. One reunion. One secret worth killing for.
When scandal explodes, Kate Albright needs to disappear. When her marriage cracks, boutique owner Alex Montgomery needs space. When the walls of home close in, exhausted mom Hannah Price needs a break.
The twenty-year class reunion feels like the perfect escape—until all three women, who were never friends, land in the same remote cabin. The notes, the “coincidences,” the way the power dies at night—none of it is random.
Someone put them there on purpose. Someone knows what happened all those years ago. Someone wants them to pay.
They go to the reunion to smoke out their stalker. But back at the cabin, the lights cut, rope bites skin, and a familiar voice demands the truth.
Confess…or die.
As accusations fly, the pact they swore to bury claws its way a party, a predator, a fight that ended with a body—and three girls who made a terrible choice to survive.
Now, forgiveness isn’t on the table. Only blood and answers.
Taut, twisty, and impossible to put down, this gripping psychological thriller is perfect for fans of Jeneva Rose and Freida McFadden. Will their confession save them—or seal their fate?
I honestly wasn’t expecting to like it too much (I’m more of a sci-fi or horror fan), but I was pleasantly surprised.
My only real complaint was: how did no one KNOW the “bad guy”? I won’t give a spoiler; but I felt that that part was sort of hard to believe…. Or maybe I missed something... But you’d think at least one person should have recognized the bad person…
The Reunion tells the story of three women how come back to their twenty year high school reunion. They weren’t close friends in high school, but they share a secret. They room together in an old house just by themselves. Their lives have taken different journeys but are now reunited. The actual reunion does not go well and they are anxious to leave and go home. The story is very well done and keeps you in suspense. I will read more by this author.
I was so interested in reading this book, and it was a fast, easy read. The storyline was good, but needed editing, especially on plural words that were mislabeled as possessive. That ‘s on words that were not possessive was such a disappointment to me with this book.
If you are looking for an easy read while passing time, this is it. I was van in the hospital, bored, looking for something very light to read, and found this. An easy read, a. Lot of background before getting g to the pivotal point of the story, which wraps up quickly.
I loved this story. It had everything. Love, hate, mystery and excitement. It ended well, tying everything up. I couldn’t put it down. Kudos to the author. Well done.
probably would’ve given this a 3.75 and rounded it up to a 4 for the story, but the proofreading alone is making me give this a 3. the poor grammar and editing was very distracting. apostrophes flying everywhere they don’t belong!!!!!!
Enjoyed the book. Kind of predictable in overall story but details were not. I did audible for this one, so it was easy to follow along as I was in and out of my car.
