No Peace Among Stars Great collection of Space Marine, Imperial Guard and Mechanicus short stories many of which I already wanted to read, here are my impressions after finishing each story in order I read them in. Death’s Toll ✔️ 4/5 ruthless iron hands successor story decent Tattershield ❌ 2/5 Pretty meh it just felt like Gaunt's Ghost corporate edition The Blooded ✔️ 4/5 honourable evil, if you like blood angels or guardsmen you’ll like this Nightfall on Stygies ✔️ 4/5 good but little familiar The Strength of Symbols ✔️ 4/5 simple guard story done well, fighting against the odds The Guns of Enth ✔️ 5/5 interesting plot, good action Dream of the Locust ✔️ 3/5 decent but forgettable Those Without Mercy ✔️ 5/5 grim dark I want more sadly it isn't a prequel to full novel despite setting up an interesting story… Update I have the sequel Chem Dogs will read!
