Hiding a wounded stranger in an abandoned bakery is reckless. Falling for him in the dark, dangerous quiet? Worse. Getting pregnant by him? The kind of mistake that changes everything.
He stumbled into my ER at midnight — bleeding, furious, carved from shadows and loyalty. A Riccari man. The kind mothers warned their daughters about in hushed church pews.
I should’ve walked away. Instead, I brought him to Uncle Sal’s shuttered bakery, kept his secrets, stitched his wounds, and let temptation taste like figs, heat, and whispered Italian. Three nights. One white rose. Then he disappeared like he never existed.
Until danger followed me home.
Now he’s back — bloodied, raging, unbreakable — telling me the FBI knows my name, and the mafia believes I’m his weakness.
I have a secret of my own… one growing beneath my heart with every passing day. A secret with his eyes. His legacy. His blood.
He swears he’ll protect me — that no man touches what’s his. Not the feds. Not traitors. Not even the don he once would’ve died for. But Christmas in Little Italy is never peaceful. Loyalty cuts deep, love lights fuses, and empires bleed for both.
When the bells ring and the bullets stop, will he stand with the family that built him… or the one about to call him Daddy?
Author’s This is a full-length standalone Christmas mafia romance with heat, loyalty, and a fiercely protective hero. No Cliffhanger. Happily ever after guaranteed.
This book is very hard to read. It’s written in metaphors, convoluted nonsense and psychological double talk. U have to unravel meanings in memories spoken of u don’t understand Because u weren’t part of the old neighborhood in the story. U needed to be raised Italian and part of the mafia world to really get what they are talking about. So it makes it a struggle to really enjoy the story. It doesn’t flow easily so the story isn’t enjoyable because u are trying to decipher every single sentence. I’ve honestly never read a single book written in such a manner. Some doesn’t make much sense, the relationship between Nico and Elisa is weird to say the least, their behaviour with each other is strange and even the mafia world and his part in it is described in an unusual manner that is hard to really understand. It was a waste of time reading it honestly as much didnt seem to make much sense. I would not recommend this book.

The Mafia's Christmas Baby has the funny banter, the cute banter, and the spice all in one. I love how the author write the book, the words aren't all jumbled, it's fresh and clean, easy to read. I found myself laughing and smiling at the characters wit and funny comparisons throughout the book. I loved the storyline of Elisa. This was the perfect read for the upcoming holiday season. I seriously DEVOURED this book.
"I love this power, the dizzying control of having this strong, quiet man completely at my mercy." ❤️🔥

I can't say enough good things for this writer and her prose, she carries the characters words like a chef putting a souffle in the ban marie, but there is knife in her apron just in case, and she isn't afraid to use it. Her characters are full, the women born to bear the weight and dont try to shrug it off. The men are men without the shitty machismo, they speak truth without labeling it. These are the people I know in my blood. The ones I want living in my memory.
Part of Claimed for Christmas. a full-length standalone holiday mafia romance.
The plot was intriguing, exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and expertly drawn. The characters were very well written and complex and complicated and absolutely perfect for each other. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend this book!

If you want a truly great Christmas Mafia story then this is the one you should read. Hospital drama, kidnapping, FBI and a traitor out to kill both Elisa and Nico and a baby on the way just to add to the danger. Nico also wants a life outside of the Mafia, to have a family and be free to love but is that ever possible.
This story was confusing. Nico explaining Mafia life with coded words to Elisa made no sense. Explaining those coded words was tiring. Elisa and Nico's romance didn't feel right. Nico kept telling Elisa she needed protection, but she ignored him . Nico was overbearing at times.
Elisa helps Nico when he turns up in her ED. A dark and dangerous read with a mafia man and a nurse, brought together in a bakery with secrets and old knowledge, loyalty and love. Once again, a read that needs concentration to appreciate and understand it all.

Started out strong and then really just became too drawn out for me. There were also some weird discrepancies like how she talked about her mom being dead in the beginning and then later talked about being on the phone with her mom. It could've just been me missing something, but this book just wasn't it for me.
When Nico stumbles into Elises ER she ends up hiding him at her uncles bakery but as sparks fly between then his links to the underworld dont stay under and when its not just the two of them to think about where will it leave them? Well written engaging steamy desires fast paced, mafia romance
Slow burn as she saves him in her ER. She saves him again outside the hospital bringing him to her home. Will he save her back or save her by abandoning her?

Well this one took the cake. Wonderful read a sure plus
She's a nurse and is in emergency so she has to assist on a gunshot male patient. Involving cops and they want his information absorbed this book. Do not miss it.
Interesting book - definitely not what I thought it was going to be like. Was hard to follow at a few spots but figured it out. I did like it & different from other mafia books I’ve read. Enjoyed Nico & Elisa love story.
This book follows Nico and Elisa as they come together to save Nico after he ends up in the ER where she works as a nurse. She grew up where mafia was known but not discussed. Everything was shrouded in secret and code words. Nico has a hard time opening up to her but she is comically patient as he finds the way to use the words he generally keeps inside so he can keep watch and keep the Family safe. I thought it was clever/interesting that a lot of the book was written in metaphor and undertones of what was said, but it made it a bit of a challenging read for me. I've read several books by this author that I really likes and this style just threw me a little. That said, the story was well done and I liked that they took a while to warm to one another and strive for "boring".

This author had a good start, but she had a lot of inconsistency and repeated scenes like copy and paste scenes. One example is the FMCs mom is dead at the start it says she’s been gone for 4 years, until she comes over to tell Elisa that she has to tell Nico about the baby, until they have it out and one of the things the must do on their plan is to tell her mom she’s pregnant… many other examples this is just the least spoilery one. Also kind of boring over all the whole book is just kind of Meh
