The epic finale to Gregory Heal's fantasy series, The Sky Jewel Legacy.

The Halostone has been found after more than a millennium, ending the devastating war between the Sorcery Guild and Dark Watchers . . . but Lord Ferox lives.

Reeling from witnessing the end of the Great Battle which had been preserved in the Halostone, Jennifer Lancaster is left speechless when her ancestor, Genevieve, survives. But before this new era of peace can begin, evil rises in an unexpected form, a dangerous spell is cast, and Genevieve disappears.

Haunted by visions of impending doom, Jen must locate Genevieve while battling her own demons in an effort to alter the future that her visions portend. Meanwhile, Lord Ferox, fueled by his desire to become an omnimancer, alters his plans to conquer the eleven realms, sealing the fates of billions.

Learning that every decision will have irrevocable consequences, Jen pushes the limits of her powers and sanity to save the ones she loves, prevent the beginnings of a new war, and find the strength to fulfill her ultimate destiny.

I am so excited for this book! I've already read the first two books, and can't wait for the third! The series so far is incredible. To those who haven't read them yet, I highly suggest you do! Gregory Heal's books are full of magic and wonder!

This series really has good story ideas. But to execute this magic system and these story arcs these books needed to be much longer or way more books in the series. It just all felt so rushed and I never connected with any characters because we flew thru there story arcs. I really wanted to like this series but it was really tough to finish.

I first came across this series while on social media. I saw posts made by the author Gregory Heal where he revealed that his books were clean, fun, adventurous…with elements of many other books and series I’ve loved over the years. For me, I especially loved when he mentioned there were things similar to Indiana Jones, which has always been one of my all time favorites.

I was intrigued from the get go and dove right in, finishing all three books in just 27 days. While this review falls under the last book in the series, this goes for all of them in that this is an incredible series! I was hooked and reeled in from page one until the very last. The story, character development…good vs evil…was all very well done. I didn’t want to stop reading! I wanted to continue to find out what would happen next.

Each book, Heritage, Crusade and Destiny are reminders to me of my own daily battles and adventures I too am fighting everyday. As I remember who I am, knowing I too have friends and family by my side, I too can conquer any obstacle and reach my own destiny.

I’d invite you all to dive in too and see where this incredible adventure takes you!

I absolutley loved this book! I read the first two within a week last December, and was very eager to pick up where I left off. I was not disappointed! This book, much like the other ones, is filled with twists and turns from start to finish. If you're looking for a story that will keep you guessing, you've found the right series. I quickly became a fan after reading Heritage, and I'm an even bigger one after reading Destiny. This series will have you so swept up in the story, you'll forget that you're only reading words on page. I was so immersed in the plot it was as if I was actually there. I'm so sad to be leaving the amazing fictional world that Gregory Heal so masterfully created, but can't wait to see what he has planned for the future.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and thought the story was strong. However, the ending felt a bit rushed and not as complete as I was hoping. There were also quite a few reminders of events from previous books, which slowed the pacing for me—especially since I had just finished book two and still remembered those details clearly.

I was glad I waited to read book two shortly before starting this one, particularly because of the big cliffhanger. That timing made the reading experience more enjoyable.

In the final chapters, there was a lot of detail, and I found myself skimming at times to get back to the character dialogue, which I enjoyed the most. Despite these issues, I still found the book engaging and appreciated continuing the journey with these characters.

I found this on the authors Youtube Page, I started it for fun and just finished the last book. I loved the writing and everything, What i found most interesting was the fact that the villains managed to win alot which you don't find in many books since most of the time they just get beat all the time. The plot had so many twists with the Lancaster clan and everything. Overall, 5 stars and I'm going to read this again no doubt.
The sorcery part was great, because they actually had to bend the molecules etc to obtain control over their respective Mancy Plane. The ending was great however I'm so curious about what Jen went through in Empyrr after the orb and the interdimensional rift since it was mentioned she spent six years there trying to get back. It would be amazing for a spinoff that explains what exactly happened there.

This was an unsatisfying end to the trilogy. It reads as a structured draft. Definitely potential for a polished rewrite.

What an amazing series. Truly a breath of fresh air in the fantasy world (and books in general)! I honestly wanted more. More details, more time! More, more, more! It was over too fast! That was mostly due to Greg’s amazing writing, and that when a chapter ended I had to keep going to find out what happened.

Speaking of, Greg, I’ll need more about those 6 years at some point, please and thank you?

All the creatures were incredible. Well described and easy to picture, and such a wide variety. As was the world. I had no trouble picturing it, especially with fun real world tie ins (completely plausible explanation for the Bermuda Triangle).

Heph is still hands down my favorite character. I would gobble up any and all Heph content! I wanted more of him in this book, though it was fun to get to know Rez more. There was such a wealth of characters so it’s hard to spend an abundance of time with them all. I appreciated the wealth of characters. Fantasy can tend to be a main 3/4, or I swear 1 million. This was right in the sweet spot of not too little and not too many.

Malcolm. Malcolm! Malcolm. His arc was so rewarding. I was hoping for it and I’m so glad I got what I was hoping! I literally exclaiming “YESSSS!” out loud.

Overall, incredible series. Well done Greg. Original, fun and truly creative. Glad you had that random dream! I would read anything else written in this universe (hint hint).

Only bummer for me that knocked it down a star was some language (h*ll, d*mn, b*st*rd).
