I love going to aquafitness classes all summer. But once the classes are over I tend to forget at least half of the moves. So I was happy to find this book.
This book is divided into four sections. The first is about getting started. The second section is about choosing exercises. The third is for exercises for common injuries (which was great was I have a left knee that is easily aggravated). And the last section has basic, intermediate and advanced exercises.
I really liked this book. And I enjoyed the diagrams. I think that I would have liked a bit more detail about each exercise. But overall the pictures really helped. One thing that bothered me was that I did not see mention of wearing aqua shoes. To me this is a must. Maybe they weren't as popular when this book was written?
Good clear descriptions of water calisthenics. I was hoping for some routines or circuits including cardio, but exercises can easily be combined to create a good workout.
