I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!

A wonderful suspenseful adventure with the Lighthouse Security Investigators. This time it’s Casper from the Montana crew that finds love. He is assigned to help former child star Willow now a writer and screenwriter. She needs to upgrade her security and find out who her stalker is. During the time they spend together they find they have a lot in common and true feelings for each other. It’s also quite suspenseful have the identity of the stalker unfolds.

This book was amazing! But the book hangover was awful!! I ended up going back and rereading parts of the story because I didn’t want to let it end!
Willow Thorton was a child star and now writes books and screenplays. She seems to have a stalker who is obsessed with the character she played as a teen.
Aldo Caspini (Casper) from Lighthouse Montana goes out to where she lives now to assess her security needs and to act as bodyguard for a couple business trips she has to go on.
The chemistry between Casper and Willow is strong and immediate!

I loved everything about this story! Even when I kinda wanted to shake some sense into Casper for dragging his heels, I did understand that he needed to work through his own issues before he could really commit to Willow.

No one, and I mean no one, writes such sweet romances quite like Maryann Jordan. Her books have everything. It has suspense, brotherhood, a mountain of emotions, chemistry and bonds that will not be broken, and a love so strong and pure it makes your heart ache.
Watching Casper and Willow come together was so profoundly beautiful.
Casper is such a steady presence. He’s a born protector, he’s attentive and focussed, he’s open and he’s real. He’s not some figment of our imaginations, you can honestly see just how real he is, the gentle way he eases into Willow’s life seemed effortless. He’s steady presence such a comfort. There’s something about this wonderful and beautiful man that held my heart from the beginning and I never wanted to let go. He brings a peace to your soul and, in my opinion, Maryann Jordan captured this beautifully. This is the epitome of everything we all need in a man.
Willow is a strong and independent character and Maryann could not have written a better match for Casper.
Although she craves her peace and quiet, which I can totally understand, she’s a bright light. She’s so open and has an unforgettable warmth about her that shines upon you once you’re in her vicinity.
And the twist is something that you won’t see coming. I tried throughout the book to figure it out, but I would never have figured it was who it turned out to be. Maryann has a wonderful talent that allows her to include suspense that exists side by side with the love unfolding that is so profound and beautiful it leaves you with the biggest book hangover ever.

This is book six in The Lighthouse Security Investigations Montana series and it is Casper and Willow’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Casper is a keeper for LSIM and loved his job as it gave him a lot of variety while also helping people but with no one to share it with it could sometimes get a bit lonely and his mother had always said that “ Love Comes When You Least Expect It “ and he is still waiting. Willow is a screenplay writer and former celebrity and she had won awards for her work however lately she is very unsettled because she is receiving different gifts while also feeling like someone is watching her and when things start to escalate she knows that she needs some kind of help and that is when Casper who is a keeper shows up. The first time that Casper and Willow meet there is no denying the attraction to each other and the more time that they spend together the stronger it grows between them but with the threat increasing Casper will have to be on his guard because the threat seems to be closer than they thought and Willow is in the crosshairs so she is his main concern because he needs to keep her safe and protected at all times but will they be able to deal with the threat before it is too late and takes away the future that they both want and deserve. Wow I absolutely love this book and series so much and I couldn’t put this book down as it kept my attention throughout as it was so addictive with all it’s twists and turns along the way. I can’t wait to read more books by Maryann Jordan who is an amazing author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading.

We’re back with the Montana branch of LSI for Casper’s story. Someone is stalking former child actor Willow Thorton who as an adult is a successful author and screenwriter. She set up her home in an isolated part of Nebraska for safety and peace. Now her peace is shattered by strange rose-themed gifts and a general feeling of unease. When she contacts Montana LSI for protection, Aldo Caspani, nicknamed Casper, flies to Nebraska as her security. Their mutual attraction is immediate but they have many obstacles in the path to their HEA - not least the stalker. The couple’s romance is both fast and sweet.
Jordan does a great job of weaving the developing relationship with escalating stalker activity. Even though the romance is VERY fast, the glimpse into their thoughts about each other shows mature thinking mixed with delicious tension. This is another success for Jordan. She makes the implausible plausible. The lead characters are very likeable, their growing attachment palpable, and the threat from the stalker feels very real. On a spice level, most sensual takes place behind closed doors. There is only one explicit scene and it would be easy for people who prefer sweet books to skip it.

Sweet romance, excellent suspense! Casper is intriguing, strong but quiet, a steady presence and gentle manner that belies his tough guy exterior. He arrives in Nebraska to provide protection to former child actor turned successful author and screenwriter Willow Thorton. Willow left the confines of LA for the open space freedom of Nebraska where she can breathe and write in peace. She loves her new life but realises the uneasy feeling of being watched and stalked isn’t her imagination but scarily real as incidents start to escalate.
Casper and Willow seems poles apart but are instantly draw to each other, he makes her feel safe, she makes him feel emotions he didn’t think he was capable of. Their’s is a joyous love story beautifully written and as the tension grows and the stalker intensifies their connection gets ever stronger. I loved the suspense, I really couldn’t work who the stalker was until they are revealed and the author did a superb job of keeping them anonymous. Great plot, excellent pace, heightening tension and high stakes and two warm and wonderful characters. This is an excellent latest addition to the Lighthouse Security Investigations Montana series and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Willow is a former child star actress who now writes screenplays and novels, preferring behind the scenes instead of in the spotlight. She left Hollywood for peace and quiet to a rural house in Nebraska, here she can go shopping, do errands and not have to worry about paparazzi. Lately the feeling of being watched has intensified, and it seems her stalker is upping up their game, they know where she lives, sending her gifts, leaving it on her doorstep, rearranging her patio furniture and leaving roses below her window…..which has her reaching out to a contact who happens to be with LSI. Casper is assigned her protection detail and to secure her home, and doesn’t expect the beautiful, kind, down to earth woman. Their attraction to each other is immediate and as the two spend time together, learning about their pasts and getting to know each other, there is no denying their connection….and the stalker knows it to.
A great read with suspense, surprises, and great characters that will keep you flipping the pages. I LOVED the no drama between them, how easy and flawless they fit together and how both showed their vulnerabilities and were open and honest with each other.

Great addition to the MTLSI series. We met Casper in previous books, like others he is a former military special ops. He is assigned to protect a former actress turned screenwriter/author. Willow has taken control of her life after her parents started her modeling at 5 YO, then actress. She separated from them so she could do what she wanted; attend college and writing. Willow is proving what an intelligent, caring woman she is, but she has a problem. Some deranged fan or stalker is escalating and she needs help, enter Casper and MTLSI. Casper admires Willows intelligence, grace, caring ways and beauty. Willow has always been attracted to the slick, well dressed man. Willow may just change her taste in men after meeting Casper, the mohawk styled, tattooed Keeper. As Casper and MTLSI try to figure out who is stalking Willow, Willow must attend functions in public to promote her new book amongst other events. Will the stalker make an appearance? Will Casper and MTLSI be able to keep Willow safe? I love strong intelligent women and the men who love them, not resent them, Casper was right up my alley!

Former child star and now script and novel writer Willow, has moved far away from Hollywood and lives where people don’t care how you look and only how you act. One problem is a stalker and they are getting more forceful in their actions. Willow is a woman you would like as a friend, loyal, true to her friends and even though burnt by those close to her she still has trust of those she knows. Needing help and asking a friend Casper is sent to help her with security. Casper is many whose family means everything, his LSI family and his blood. A man of honour, one who doesn’t believe that love is in his future. I loved how these two interacted. Yes attraction from the start, but trust and truth is such a strong part of their relationship. Slowly as the stalker grows more closer, so does the attraction, chemistry and relationship. Giving into the chemistry sends the stalker off the rails. Some times those closet to you are the ones you never think of.

Casper is sweet. Willow is sweet. And yet, somehow, I couldn’t quite connect with either of them. I’m not entirely sure why—maybe the pacing felt too rushed, or maybe Casper’s insecurity just didn’t land for me. His lack of confidence seems tied to something as minor as his hairstyle, which made it hard to take seriously. At some point, I found myself thinking, “Then just change your hair.”
Willow, on the other hand, has an interesting background. She transitioned from being a famous actress to a still somewhat well-known writer, even winning an Oscar for her screenplay and building a life beyond her teenage stardom. When a stalker begins harassing her—without revealing their identity—she hires Casper to assess her security. Due to circumstances (and his growing interest in her), Casper ends up becoming her bodyguard. However, from the very beginning, Willow treats him more like a boyfriend than an employee, which felt a bit off to me.

Casper is a bit of a loner , he is given the job of protecting Willow a former child star and now author and screenwriter from a stalker who is becoming increasingly obsessed. Willow moved to a remote part of the country to get away from the craziness of LA and to find somewhere quiet where she could find peace and inspiration for her work. She has had problems with various people trying to take advantage of her and has become adept at holding herself somewhat aloof physically and emotionally, she did not expect to find herself attracted to the man responsible for her security. Casper is pleasantly surprised by Willow and finds her increasingly appealing, he is concerned about the escalation of her stalker and soon realises her importance to him.
I enjoyed how the story moved from country to city and in settings that were new to me, it felt very well researched as always with a Maryann Jordan book. It was good to be reintroduced to other keepers and to see old friends. I really enjoyed this book and devoured it in a day! Highly recommended.

Casper is a quiet and somewhat private man. He is a Keeper with LSIMT and has been there for the other Keepers finding their happy. He is assigned to survey and design security for Willow. Willow used to be a teen star and then transitioned into a screenwriting and author role. She seems to have a stalker but is also a known person in the entertainment industry.
Willow and Casper don’t anticipate the intense attraction they feel toward each other and are not looking for a permanent relationship. When they decide to act on their attraction, they open up the doors to their happiness. The suspense of who the stalker is, was extremely well kept! Having to watch over a celebity hadn't been on his agenda but Willow surprises him at every turn including the first time they met. Maryann Jordan's knack for creating truly likeable and unique characters shines through once again with Casper. The undercurrents between them burn white hot. The investigation into the threats digs deep into her personal as well as professional life. Although she has to relatee some long buried revelations, in the end she's relieved of their burden. Casper knew she was meant to be his but can they make it work? It won't be for lack of trying and a little subterfuge on his part.

Willow Thorton was a child star but has since escaped Hollywood as an adult to find solitude while pursuing her writing career. Casper is sent to protect her from a stalker. The momentum of the story never lets up as the suspense escalates and escalates along with the escalation of growing relationship. The story will capture you from the start and not let go till the very end when the stalker is revealed. You may think you figured out who the person is before then but I guarantee you will not.

Casper has been watching his LSIMT teammates find love, one after another, but does not think he is meant to find it himself. Willow has lived in the spotlight for most of her life. She is finally enjoying some peace and quiet when she starts to feel as if she is being watched and followed. Concerned, she reaches out to an old bodyguard she knew and ended up with Casper coming to provide a security assessment and accompany her on a couple of trips. They work together with the rest of LSIMT to try to figure out who could be threatening her safety and develop feelings for one another. They put a plan in place to try to resolve the danger but not everything goes as they hoped and Casper has to save Willow. They end up saving one another in other ways as well on their way to their happily ever after. I loved this story.

Outstanding book and what a keeper! Casper is a protector with LSI Montana. He is a former Delta Force guy who is finding his way with LSI. He is assigned to provide security for Willow. Willow was a teen actress who has left LA behind for the quiet county life in Nebraska. She is receiving gifts and when trouble finds its way to her doorstop she seeks assistance from LSI. As days progress they share their life stories and begin to find a relationship that is slowly evolving into more than business. When trouble strikes can Casper and the team get to Willow in time? There is laughter, family drama and a few tears. A true Maryann Jordan story. This book is well written, informative and lots of intrigue. Secondary characters are well developed and add depth. Can’t wait for more. Maryann Jordan this book was outstanding and touching ending! My new favorite. 5+ stars.

She has that intuition that someone is out there and calls on her former bodyguard, Leo of WCLSI. He unfortunately/fortunately recommends her to the Montana team and Casper is assigned to her case.
Casper is not necessarily looking for a relationship, in fact, he really tries to avoid them. When meeting Willow he finds her compelling. Can Casper and the LSI team keep her safe and find out who is stalking her and why?
What a absolutely fantastic, emotional, suspenseful, romantic story. I always love coming back to the LSI teams and the Montana team is one that is amazing! I can't wait to read more about the other team members! I definitely recommend Casper and the whole LSI Montana series!

MaryAnn Jordan is one heck of an author who doesn't disappoint us readers/ fans .She gives us readers a connection with the characters and let's us into their world. Aldo Caspani aka Casper ex Army gets a new assignment to help set up for Willow Thorton ex child star ,screen writer,play writer, Author,who is being stalked ,but there's so many people who it could be,but can Casper and his team figure it out and can he keep the woman he is falling for safe? Willow thought that she left all the spotlight and stress that nearly destroyed her when she moved to rural Nebraska. Then suddenly silk roses showed up on her porch and fresh footprint under her window. Someone is getting bold and she is worried. Casper Caspini is called upon by LHSI Montana to take on the roll of protecting her. As things start to accelerate it forces Willow and Casper into close quarters and the sparks start to fire between them. It is always great when some of the aspects of the story match events that happen in real life. I always watching the main characters over come something to make their relationship happen. It is nice to watch a relationship happen not instant love.

Willow moved from LA to middle of nowhere in Nebraska to get away from everyone and to be able to write her books and screenplays. But someone is stalking her and she reached out to Leo, one of her former bodyguards. He reached out to Logan and they sent Casper to set up her security system and accompany her on a trip to LA and the to Kansas City for work events. As the week went on and the feeling of threats increases, the get closer and start having feelings. Will the find whoever is stalking her before something happens to her? As I read this book, I kept thinking I knew who it was but then someone else became suspect so I had several that I thought was the stalker. It keeps you guessing until the end.
