For an intrusive thought come to light this basically worked for me.
I’m not sure I would describe this as cozy, but this was short, spicy and surprisingly heartfelt.
Love a novella that gets straight to the point. At 109 pages, I read this in less than 2 hours and I had all the emotions. I could’ve used like 50 more pages to flesh out some stuff more. Like listen - the content warnings told me how these men would act towards women and it’s, I guess it’s nice these boys are only soft for each other and yet still, don’t be kicking them out like that.
I fully bought their friends to lovers deal, the angst over going at Grey’s pace because of his trauma, how Logan was submissive to Grey and helped him heal from it. I liked reading about the switch that happens and you realize what you’ve been missing/going after what you want.
I also wanted to read about their first time together! It’s like Grey got past the trauma and then boom Epilogue and they’ve been married a year and still treating women as a hole (crass but TRUE).
Also - Justice for Chantal, the admin assistant who deserves better even though she knows the deal.
I wanna read an extended version of this, but with the women treated better, lol. Also - why does Grey own this corporate president business AND a restaurant? Tell me more. The bones (wink wink) are there and I want more. @Victoria Timms

He licks his lips. “I want to give you some . . . instructions.”

I groan. “Whatever you want.” I step closer to him, so there’s only a slight gap between our bodies. “What do you want right now?” “I need to know you’re mine,” he growls. “I need to feel you. Know that you belong to me.” “How do I show you?” I ask, practically panting. He holds my stare for a beat. “I need to feel you…”
I don’t hesitate. I take him into my mouth, and moan. At his taste. At the weight of him. At the pleasure of knowing he doesn’t let anyone else do this.
I look down at him. His eyes are huge. His hands are still on my thighs. “You have the power to reduce me to nothing. Everything I am is in your control. Watch yourself as you unravel me. See the power you have. Watch me because I am yours, Grey.”

Excuse me??? The author who usually writes cozy contemporary said, "let me have intrusive thoughts for 106 pages" and absolutely DELIVERED!!!
This novella gets straight to the point - fast, filthy, and zero wasted time. From the first chapter it knows exactly what it is and commits fully to the voyeur dynamic.
Grey and Logan together? Sweetest, filthiest chaos. The tension builds quickly, but what really worked for me was the balance between heat and emotional pull. For such a short book, it somehow manages to hit multiple beats without feeling rushed.

The praise elements were absolutely the standout for me (shocking no one), and the dynamic between the two MMCs felt playful, intense, and oddly soft underneath the heat - which made the whole thing land even better.

This book was exactly what I needed to change up my reading for the week. An amazing little story about your best friend watching you 🥵.
This book comes out swinging with the spice first, and a whole lot of 👀. While fast paced due to size, this book didn’t feel like it was missing anything or that there were gaps. It delivered a whole story and feels in its 106 pages.
I will say, I’m probably never looking at a bedroom chair the same way again!

Logan has sex with people, men and women, but he does not care about them. They are a means to an end. That is, until his best friend Grey walks in on him with his newest conquest and...stays? For some reason that gets him off, and it seems to get Grey off too. Logan isn't sure yet what that means for their relationship, but he's sure he wants it to happen again.
Watching is definitely an MM erotica/romance (I waffle between the two for this one because the sex scenes are a big driver). There are scenes that involve women but they are never the focus, either in the narrative or by Logan and Grey. I really liked seeing voyeurism used as a way to explore intimacy without involving physical contact. I've never read a book with voyeurism so that was a really interesting perspective that I'd never really experienced before. Grey seemed to enjoy the watching for watching's sake, but it was also a way to experience closeness without touching.
I don't typically read novellas, and I think almost all of my gripes (admittedly very small gripes) are features not bugs. There's a lot of ground to cover in only 100 pages so things have to move fast! I do like that there's an established history between Grey and Logan, so it doesn't feel like insta-love even though I would have liked to see more of their relationship before the start of the novella.
Like I mentioned before, the sex scenes sometimes include women but they aren't very important to the scenes they're in. The more descriptive sex scenes are the ones with just Logan and Grey. It's not quite what I'd call D/s, but Grey does like taking control and telling Logan what to do. If you're a fan of men telling each other to please themselves this is gonna be right up your alley.
Ended up not being my typical type of read, but I quite enjoyed it! Being novella length it was a very quick read (it took me roughly 1.5 hours from start to finish), so perfect for a long lunch break if you can handle the heat while you eat. Thank you very much to Victoria for a chance to read and review this early.

This is a little, kinky, smutty, best-friends to lovers, MM romance. It drags you right in and you’ll read this in one sitting. But it’s not only smutty, it has some depth to it including one MMC on his healing journey.
This has the potential to be a full length romance book in my opinion.

HOTTT!!! Love this sexier darker tale by Timms! Yum. Gobbled it up in one sitting.
I love that, on top of the sexy, Timms takes care to REALLY work through consent and past trauma. Loved these little assholes too :)

Watching was such a quick read and definitely delivered on the spice and all the intrusive thoughts. I ended up giving it ⭐⭐⭐⭐. I went into this one completely blind after pulling it out of my TBR jar, and honestly, I think that's the best way to read it. My only complaint is that I would have loved to see more of Grey's first experience once they were finally together after everything they'd been through. If you enjoy MM romance, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try. Just make sure you check the trigger warnings before going in if you're sensitive to certain topics.
