The storm within is a romantasy (I'd say closer to epic fantasy with some romance sprinkled in) with adventure and plot twists. This book has found family, fae, witches, and demons. The story is very interesting, the FMC and MMC are mates but he mentally tortures her and they have a back and forth dynamic of trying to resist each other. There are also darker themes in the book so read triggers before going into it. They main characters go on a journey to recover lost loved ones and to discover new powers and prevent total world domination by an all-powerful dark witch. Along the way they face off with demons, have to pass mystical tests, and fight their way to the truth and those they desire. The book does end on a huge cliffhanger so keep that in mind going in. I enjoyed this book very much, however with that being said I did speak with the author about some editing issues. She had let me know that there were issues with the editing company and she is working diligently to correct them! I think this book is worth a read if you are looking for a new epic adventure.

Absolutely amazing book. The world building was phenomenal. The description is so well done, it's like you're standing right there in the middle of it all.
I was immediately pulled in by this book. The characters were awesome. I loved the twists and turns in this. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I had a love hate relationship with Kai. But this guy just keeps you wanting to know more of what's going on. The spice was spicing. I absolutely loved this book.

OH MY GOSH this book takes off from page one, it's smart and quipped and the writing is fantastic! The characters are easy to become obsessed with and the story arc is incredible! I found kay through social media and I am si glad I did!!

Wow, The Storm Within really pulled me in! The story of Vivvie, a half-Fae, half-witch, is intense and full of magic, danger, and unexpected twists. I loved how her quest to save magic from her grandmother, the Lady of Chaos, was both thrilling and personal there’s a lot at stake, not just for the world, but for Vivvie herself.

Kai, the Fire High Lord, was a fascinating character too. I liked the tension in their relationship, especially knowing he had this life-threatening bargain hanging over him. Their dynamic felt real, full of conflict, trust issues, and moments that made me root for them.

The plot moves quickly, and the stakes keep getting higher, especially when Vivvie is kidnapped and collared with a magic-suppressing band so intense! It kept me on the edge of my seat, and the race against time to save her had me completely hooked.

If you enjoy fantasy with a mix of romance, magic, and moral dilemmas, this book is definitely worth a read. I’m excited to see where Vivvie and Kai’s story goes next!

Vivvie’s capture and the magic suppressing collar raised the stakes dramatically and kept me turning pages. Overall, this story blends fantasy adventure, romance, and sacrifice beautifully. I finished reading it within 2 days😆 I really like the world building for this book with magical elements and the fact that it was an obsessive male character makes it even more fun to read. My goodness, Kai was that intimidating male character that I can't seems to get enough of. The fact that everyone in the team was soo good to Vivvie makes me fangirling her with everyone of them😅😂 I can't wait for the second book to be released for sure!

Unfortunately not for me. I was lucky enough to get given this book as an ARC reader but I just didn’t enjoy the style of writing and I did not finish. I feel bad writing this as I really thought I would enjoy it.
