I was expecting a gangland thriller but this was more of a suspense read. It was very good though. After leaving London as a teen to live in Suffolk Julia was shocked after bumping into an old friend after getting a job back in her hometown. Tom had upsetting news that Julia’s best friend from childhood had died and her funeral was that week. Some said Angel had committed suicide on her birthday but Julia started having doubts there seemed to be lots of secrets between her old friends. There’s a lot going on for Julia and she soon wonders if reconnecting with her old friends is a dangerous thing for her.
