Where You Find Me is a heartwarming small-town romance about coming home, rediscovering dreams, and finding love in the most unexpected places.
After a failed career and a broken engagement, Emmaline Bennett returns to Hollowbrook, Texas, hoping to put the pieces of her life back together quietly. What she doesn't expect is to run into Atlas Benson, the brooding pianoist from her teenage obsession: Velvet Drive. He's older, quieter, and more guarded than she remembers-but the spark between them is impossible to ignore.
As old wounds resurface and new dreams begin to take shape, Emmaline and Atlas are pulled into a love story written in lyrics, memories, and second chances. With an acoustic EP on the horizon, a benefit concert in the works, and their futures more entwined than ever, they'll have to decide what really matters: the spotlight or the quiet magic of building a life together.
Where You Find Me is a soulful and romantic novel for fans of music-infused love stories, heartfelt reunions, and the kind of connection that always finds its way home.
Where You Find Me weaves music and love into a captivating melody that resonates throughout the pages, as we experience the harmonies of two beautifully crafted characters, Emmaline and Atlas. A.K. Smith's cozy romance transported me to a world where music and love blend to create a front-row seat to a breathtaking love story. The imagery in her writing is vividly conveyed, and will draw you into a kaleidoscope of sights, sounds, and scents that meld together into a stunning tapestry. Her words are lyrical echoing friendship, shared dreams, love, and hope, inspiring us to believe in the power of music and finding love in unexpected places.
I really like this story. It's very sweet and while there are some spicy scenes it's not overly descriptive. I would recommend this to people who are into a more contemporary romance, people who want to feel drawn into the love story. I didn't give it 5 stars because there did seem to be some pacing variations that threw off my reading flow. It may not read like this to others; use your own discretion. The cover is spectacular and the plot is very enticing; I mean, who doesn't dream about having a life with your celebrity crush? Overall, a great story. Give it a shot
