“I’m working through the guilt. Guilt that Gina died and I didn’t. Guilt she didn’t have her seat belt on and I did. Guilt I didn’t take a different route home. Guilt I didn’t get the chance to tell her one more time that I loved her before she died…”

Ugh. I absolutely hated what happened to Zack in the previous book. I wanted a story with his girlfriend. I wanted to know why he didn't marry her. I wanna know why he took her for granted.

""I'm still hell on skates."

"Tenderness well up inside me.Told in dual POV, Zack is a truly beautiful romance with healing and unforgettable moments of joy. The transformation that Zack takes as he grows closer to Kate is unforgettable. I felt so deeply for both characters. The way in which Kate was able to offer comfort to Zack and still be a strong independent woman was truly an inspiration. The moments where Zack was weak, Kate was so strong. I am always fearful of reading a book when there has been a lost loved one because sometimes it feels so heartbreaking to have that third person in the picture and yet, the way in which Zack was able to honor his girlfriend by finding healing with Kate was truly remarkable. I love when I can read a book and experience a spectrum of emotions all in one book. With the tears came much laughter, joy, and love!
And gratitude."

"The best thing in the world is a never-ending mutual orgasm with Kate."Overall, Zack is by far my favorite of the Cold Fury Hockey Series to date. I absolutely adored both Kate and Zack and the family they created. This book has passion, romance, hockey action, and it is a truly beautiful story of healing. I cannot recommend this series enough and ZACK is an absolute MUST read from this series!
