Wow. That was my first reaction to The Jassa Method. The majority of books out there which contain accurate, solid, high quality information focus on conveying information to the reader so the reader can make better choices about health and fitness. And that is what the reader typically *expects.*
The Jassa Method, on the other hand, still brings together the best and most current information about health and fitness, but unlike other books it is packaged as a *program,* as an action plan. And, quite frankly, that is usually what the reader is typically *looking for* - how to seamlessly integrate the best advice into their lifestyle. I haven’t seen any other program-style book guiding you through every step of the way that still explains *why* you are so instructed, not at this level of depth. Make no mistake, although The Jassa Method it is definitely a plan and a guide, complete with photos of various essential movements, you are still getting all the background understanding of the processes relevant to transforming your body. And, if you know anything about Sarah Fragoso and Jason Seib, the authors of the Jassa Method, none of this comes as a surprise.
I am also very happy to say that this book goes far beyond what you may be expecting from a book about “everlasting fat loss.” Like my coauthor and I did in the Tao of Paleo, Sarah and Jason did here: They talk about the nutrition and the exercise for sure, but they also talk about *everything else* that affects your health, including stress, stress management, sleep, and the most critical one: mindset. But, once again, they don’t just *talk* about each of these components of health, The Jassa Method actually *coaches* you through the steps you need to take to achieve *mastery* of them - the type of mastery you need to develop in order to make this a successful and sustainable long-term lifestyle change, there type of mastery you will need to achieve your optimal health.
