The perfect Christmas novella to get you in the mood, especially if you like your festive period with a sprinkle of snow and a heaping of spice. Our witch FMC Morgana's past issues with body image are relatable on a level I didn't expect going in, which only made me adore the demon MMC Dorrimon even more. He showed Morgana what it was to worship the female form in all its glory. Extending reassurance whenever the dark thoughts threatened to dim the light of precious moments shared. Merry Sniffmas also made me laugh, the wit between characters is something to be savoured and I feel beyond grateful that I was able to arc read this novella.

Check the trigger warnings. Omg the way i devoured this book in one day. It had me blushing and giggling in some parts. The spice was spicing and the characters were hot. If you like short novellas with demons, and witches then you will love this book.

I've finished reading my ARC copy of 'Merry Sniffmas' written by Dari A. Malaunt. This is a spicy demon Christmas novella that belongs to the 'Worshipped by Darkness' series.
"Maybe happiness was exactly that, just having a home without bleeding for it."
This is the second novella that Dari has written within the WbD series. The first one was 'Trick or Tempt me', a Halloween novella and now a Christmas one. Where the Halloween one was more fun and light, is this one more in the way Dari usually writes. Adding tougher subjects, giving the book an extra layer. Although I'm not sure if all of it really contributed to the story itself this time.
"Oh, and by the way... I've been stealing all your panties for months."
This story is about Morgana and Dorrimon. Morgana is a witch living within the normal world, but also part of a coven. Dorrimon is a demon who freshly came to earth. His special fetisj bringing them together in an unexpected way.
"You've deserved kindness for a long time, even if the world forgot to give it to you."
Parts of this novella are very fun and light, other parts build the story with a little more darkness. I get the background story, with a coven of witches being a true family as an extra loveable aspect. Mixed up with all kinds of demons, seeming a formula that works.
"And that's how I found love. My love. My perfect man — who just happened to be a demon."
I enjoyed reading the story, but I did feel like some details were missing. The balance could have been better, but it didn't make it less of an easy read. I went through it very fast and I did want to know what would happen next.
I give it four stars.

This book is beautifully written, flowing in waves between the light-hearted humour and seriousness of relationships and loneliness. Devoured!!!
The author did not hesitate to delve into emotions of a woman who knows what she wants and also who knows why she's not getting what she wants. The FMC Morgana has standards - in our ever hurrying world those are sometimes despised or looked at as unneccessary to truly be happy and find love - but even knowing that the right man is yet to come at Morgana's doorstep, loneliness is creeping in, going hand in hand in her every day life. The way the FMC longed for real connection and simple warmth of embrace from her non-existing other half knocked on my heart as don't we all, at the end of the day, just want to be loved and give love?
And boy oh boy her love ARRIVED. With two horns, purple like lilacs eyes, and panties in his back pocket, the MMC crashed into her life like a fresh breath taken after so so so many years of longing. I liked how the author chose to show how healing love can be - even after a long time, with the right person, one can receive love and, with time in caress of another, just heal ✨️ just open their heart again ☺️
I recommend this book both for those who just cannot wait for Christmas and are already in the middle of cookie baking, garlands, and snow (even if in heart!) as well as for those who need that lift up into Christmas spirit because you're tired from life, work, or just don't feel it the way you used to... this novella lifted my spirits so much and now I want to bake cookies and just smile with loved ones! Truly a recommend read!!!

This was a fun Christmas novella, and I love how Dari sprinkles in characters that open you up into a whole new world and connect you to her other books. You have a witch who has sworn off looking for love, and a demon who magically appears and is stealing her panties…and then she finds exactly what she needed. Oh and did you know, the MMC has two, you know what’s, two! This was a fun read, and I thoroughly enjoyed the spice.

🎄 Merry Sniffmas is truly a naughtily funny demon novella for Christmas and I didn’t expect it to touch me this deeply!!!!!!!! Within its short length, it delivers a full, heartfelt story about a demon who cheekily steals a witch’s underwear… but ends up giving her far more than he took. He helps heal the wounds left by idiotic men who project their dissatisfaction/hate onto women, leaving scars that linger for years. This novella captures those consequences beautifully, showing how damaging words and mistreatment can be and how kindness can mend what was broken!
💖 Our super-cute, utterly charming demon Dorrimon won me over completely. His charisma, humor, and genuine care for the witch Morgana melted my heart in ways I didn’t see coming. It was touching, funny, and yes, INSANELYYYYYYYYYYY moving!
🔥 I also adore how every demon in this series has their own unique personality. The fact that this novella brought together the entire cast of characters was bold, exciting, and made me even more eager for the next installments though the wait might be a year or two… please, DARI, write soon, I beg!!!!!!!!!!!!!
