The fictional memoir of serial killer Peter Rodriguez. In this, he recounts all of his murders—including the kidnapping of a man whom he video tapes starving to death. Raw, unapologetic, and brutally told through the lens of a human with no moral compass. A story about heartbreak, loss, self-hatred, and man’s struggle with his inner demons.
Born in Mexico. Raised in the 'States. I live in Philadelphia with my family, which includes 3 cats. I enjoy writing novels that evoke thrills, fears, and any strong emotions out of my readers. I'm an avid reader, a martial artist, and a Nintendo fanboy.
I only have myself to blame for my high expectations of this after adoring Gomez's Slaughter series and then feeling let down by this one. I feel even worse that I didn't enjoy it after reading the afterword. 😭
Hated the MCs personality and I honestly couldn't tell if we were meant to or not... I'm not one of those people that needs to relate to or love (or even like) a mc to enjoy the story but ughhhhh. A lot of stuff (kills and constantly getting away with it) felt quite implausible.
Still, it's a quick read and it might appeal to you. If it doesn't, I recommend checking out the Slaughter series!
Such a twisted story!! I loved the point of view of the killer throughout the whole story, I thought it made it 10x more compelling! It’s a quick read and an in depth look at a broken psychotic man. Perfect for fans of serial killer stories!
