Once a staunch sceptic, former RAF fighter pilot George Begg experienced a life-changing encounter with God that transformed his understanding of existence. In Mysteries of The Other Book 1 – The Hidden Story, he explores the previously hidden divine truths and patterns woven through creation, Scripture, and human life. Bridging faith, philosophy, and science, this powerful debut invites readers to question what they believe about life, death, and the afterlife… and to discover a renewed sense of purpose and order in an age of chaos.
This book was absolutely fascinating and opened a completely new door for me — both in my understanding and in the way I look at the Bible. George Begg explores well-known stories such as Noah and the Great Flood, and the Good Samaritan, and reveals a deeper level hidden beneath the surface. He guides you through the riddles, codes, symbols and meanings that have been there all along, showing how one thing represents another and how these layers link together.
It’s a book that takes you into a whole new level of understanding, and although there’s a lot to take in, the author makes the journey easier by including really helpful reference sections. The glossary, Noah’s family tree, and the number and colour code were invaluable — I found myself flipping back to them regularly. I won’t pretend otherwise: there were sections I needed to read twice. But for me, that wasn’t a bad thing at all. I wanted — and needed — to take it all in properly before moving on.
By the time I finished Book One: The Hidden Story, I realised just how much I’d learned. It’s given me a completely fresh perspective on religion, symbolism, and even the spirit world. It’s one of those books that stays in your mind long after you’ve put it down. As George Begg himself says, this is a book for someone with an enquiring mind — and he’s right. Along the way, you learn more about familiar biblical figures such as Solomon, Moses, King David and Jesus, but through a lens you’ve probably never seen before.
George Begg describes this first book as something God asked him to publish — the underlying, hidden story that runs throughout the Bible. Book One delves into the spirit world, the original plan, what was meant to happen, and the many ways things went wrong — and how they continue to be corrected again and again.
It covers a vast amount, but this is only the beginning. Book One lays the foundation for what’s to come in Books Two and Three. It’s definitely a book I’ll be rereading many times. Enlightening, thought-provoking, and deeply interesting, it has left me eager to continue the journey and uncover even more from this remarkable series.
Former RAF pilot George Begg was once a definite skeptic about God, religion and all that other spiritual matters that abound within the modern world, until he was made the recipient of a visit from GOD, yes, God the one and only presence, with a request to begin to write about the many messages that have been deliberately hidden within the Bible. To say he was astounded was probably an understatement, but he took up the challenge and has spent the past years creating three books that present the message that has been hidden for centuries but was always timed for release now; a time when predicted change on a very large scale is taking place. Book 1 begins the journey Begg has taken to deliver the words of God, as it is GOD who is doing the translating of the hidden messages, which while complex and often complicated, sets out exactly what is occurring in these very challenging times. He also clearly shows in the transcripts where humanity is heading, the pathways which will become clear and the results of the choices that will need to be made to move into the beginning of a new and more peaceful time. Often complex, even though Begg has tried to keep the narrative simple and easy to understand, Mysteries Of The Otherside Book 1 is a book that needs to be read in small sections, then reflected upon at length before moving on to the next segment as there is much to consider. As the chapters unfold the traditional learning proffered over the years from the Bible is largely ‘stood on its head’ as the real and loving message kept hidden until now is revealed. If you are serious about what comes next and prepared to read with an open or almost open mind, this is a journey that is well worth taking, not just from a spiritual perspective but from a perspective of mankind and the years to come which we are shown can be filled with peace, harmony, equality and love; something we all desire.
Just finished Mysteries Of The Other Side: Book One – The Hidden Story by George Begg, and honestly, I didn’t expect it to hit me the way it did. As a Christian, I’m used to faith-based books, but this one brings something different. Begg’s journey from RAF fighter pilot and sceptic to someone who’s had a life-altering encounter with God gives the whole book a grounded, real-world weight that I really connected with. What I loved most is how he weaves together faith, philosophy, and science without making it feel complicated or preachy. It made me rethink things I thought I already understood about creation, Scripture, and even the afterlife. It’s the kind of book that quietly challenges you in a good way and reminds you that God’s order and purpose are still there, even when the world feels chaotic. If you’re looking for something that helps you deepen your faith while also stretching your mind a bit, this is definitely worth picking up.
I'm one of those people who struggles with religion and belief in any Gods in the absence of supporting evidence. However, I am fascinated by others' stories and 'encounters'.
I read Begg's book while doing my best to keep an open mind and take it at face value. I can't say that it's influenced my beliefs or lack there of but it was a very interesting read.
