Accidentally Pregnant... Accidentally Charmed by the Grumpy Cowboy... Accidentally in Love
When I inherit the dilapidated Loveland Ranch on my birthday, I do what any self-respecting L.A. career woman would do —have one unforgettable night with a hot, broody cowboy and skedaddle before sunrise.
But when I hear that a crabby neighbor is suing my beloved grandmother’s estate, I decide her legacy is worth the dirt under my manicure and start renovating.
Cue the hot, broody cowboy, who rides up on a horse and informs me he’s the crab. And just when I think things can’t get worse, the universe hands me another surprise.
A little pink plus sign.
Fitz and I have nothing in common except being fiercely independent. We come from different worlds. We have different visions for the future. We don’t share the same dreams, backgrounds, or even the same zip code.
But it doesn’t take long before I find myself wishing for all the things I’d given up on—a real partnership with a protective, kind, hot-as-sin man who reassures me I’m not fighting my battles alone. Except he’s fighting his own battles, and they may be too big for us to overcome.
Will this accidental family we created lead to heartbreak? Or could it be the life I’ve always wanted?
Stacy Travis writes charming, spicy romance about bookish, sassy women and the hot alphas who fall for them.
Writing makes her infinitely happy, but that might be the coffee talking. She drinks a LOT of it.
She's worked as a journalist, camp counselor, TV writer, SAT tutor, corporate finance researcher, education technology editor, and non-fiction author. When she's not on a deadline, she's in running shoes complaining that all roads seem to go uphill. Or on the couch with a margarita. Or fangirling at a soccer game.
She's never met a dog she didn't want to hug. And if you have no plans for Thanksgiving, she'll probably invite you to dinner.
Stacy lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two sons, and a poorly-trained rescue dog who hoards socks. And she's serious about the Thanksgiving thing.
This was my first book by the author and I really enjoyed this story so much 🙂↔️
I have a very weak spot for books with surprise pregnancy so I knew I was going to love Tessa and Fritz’s story!! It’s Tessa’s birthday and she’s out celebrating with her four sisters and also trying to decide what to do with a farm they just inherited from their grandparents, turns out that she met Fitz that night too and they spend time together and they both agreed it was just one night
But!! A month later Tessa discovers that the night she spend with Fitz, let her a surprise because she’s pregnant 🙈 lucky for her, she’s going to be in charge of renewing the house in the farm and her neighbor turn out to be Fitz 🙂↔️ and even when they try to convince themselves they’re going to be just co-parents, it’s obvious the tension and chemistry between them is so strong that soon they’ll realized they’re never stood a chance against falling for each other ❤️
This was a very sweet book, I loved both Tessa and Fitz characters because they were dealing with so much more than just figuring out how to co-parent the baby they’re having, I loved the relationship between Tessa and her sisters and even when my heart broke a little reading Fitz and his brother Chad’s dynamics, I’m so happy about how they managed to solve their struggles as brothers, and I really hope Chad can get his own book because he needs to be happy again 😩❤️🩹 I also was thankful about reading a little about topics that are happening in real life in this story, such as the water crisis, and immigration, and I’m so glad the author wrote about this respectfully and with love ✨
I’m so excite to know what’s next with all this characters and can’t wait to read little cameos of Tessa and Fitz ❤️
I really enjoyed this story. You had Tessa who’s a city girl, work driven within the same law firm she’s been with for 10 years, trying to achieve to make partner, whilst caring for her 4 sisters (despite them being adults) ever since their parents passed.
Then you have Fitz. Country boy through and through, owns a vast amount of land, struggling to keep his stock watered due to shortage and also, caring for his brother (again an adult) and helping him through personal struggles.
Neither of them have time for a relationship, so when they meet on a night out, they agree it’s a one and done situation. Perfect for all involved. That is until the unexpected happens…
The development in their relationship was smooth & felt real. Both expressed their concerns for the future, how they would make it work despite living 2 hours away from one another, whilst maintaining a strictly friends only status. But of course we know that won’t work. 😏. Fitz was really considerate of Tessa and stepped up to his responsibilities amazingly! And Tessa dealt with alot of weight on her shoulders but learnt how to delegate eventually. It was an amazing introduction to the Loveland ranch series and I can’t wait to see who will be next (Here’s hoping it’s Chad, I’d love for him to get his HEA ♥️)
✨ Thank you to VPR for the opportunity for this arc in exchange of an honest review ✨
It follows Fitz who’s a country boy through and through and Tessa who lives in LA and is working to make partner at a Law Firm. The only thing they have in common is their independence and complex family lives. They both like to provide for their families, but whereas this is Tessa’s strength, it’s Fitz’s downfall and hinders his ability to love freely.
After Tessa and her sisters inherit Loveland Ranch on Tessa’s birthday, she figures she needs to have some fun and who other to seek out than the sexy cowboy sitting across the bar. Except that one hot and steamy night resulted in a positive pregnancy test!!
The story follows how Tessa and Fitz navigate the pregnancy, their feelings for one another, and the literal distance between their lives in LA and Willow Springs.
Stacy did not disappoint with this one! So excited for everyone to read Accidentally in Love!!

Okay but this was soooooo good! Accidentally In Love delivered for me on literally every level. It was so sweetly satisfying, so adorably romantic, and I could not be more thrilled with the start of this new small town romance series. Plus, I’m such a sucker for the accidental pregnancy trope!
I loved Tessa and Fitz from the very start, and I was hooked on their story right from their flirty, fun meet-cute, that ends up in an accidental pregnancy. Their immediate spark and connection were fun to watch grow and develop. I loved how these two communicated with each other, and how they cared for each other. I loved that there was a layer of friendship underneath all their heated chemistry. It was just the perfect package and I can't say enough good things about it.
I loved this book from the very start, and it was all just so compulsively readable. It was such a sweet treat. I’m already half in love with this series, and the set-up is absolutely stellar…I’m all in and ready for more!
If you’re into city girl/country boy romances with an accidental pregnancy twist, you need this book on your radar.
Tessa is a lawyer with her future mapped out down to the smallest detail, while Fitz is a gruff rancher who has zero interest in settling down. But after Tessa inherits a house and heads out to see it, she and Fitz end up having one unforgettable night together…and suddenly there’s a baby in the picture.
What I loved most was how much they grew together throughout the story. They brought out the best in each other. Their banter was entertaining, the chemistry was undeniable, and the slow burn had me stressed in the best way. At its core, it’s really about figuring out how to adapt when life completely derails your plans. It was a sweet story, and I had a good time reading it!
Thank you Stacy and Valentine PR for an advanced reader copy of Accidentally in Love (publishing May 20, 2026).
This is an adorable story with great characters telling it. Tessa and Fitz…two unlikely people who come together and literally make the other one a better person. Fitz is a country boy and has the ranch to prove it. Tessa is a city girl with a law degree and is pretty happy with her life. When her and her sisters inherit a house they go to check it out…what she finds is sooo much more. When Tessa and Fitz spend an amazing night together, they get a little more than expected…a baby. As this city girl and country boy figure everything thing out they learn a lot about each other…and themselves. This was a well layered story about family, legacy and everything in between. The characters had fun banter and great chemistry. This was a slow burn that was definitely worth the wait. I really enjoy this authors writing style and can’t wait to see what comes next.
This story was cute. I love a good one night stand that turns into forever. This author does an exceptional job at describing the scenery. Being an east coast girl, I enjoy reading about the west coast. Tessa is a daydreaming lawyer in Los Angelos and Fitz is a small-town rancher. Their lives are completely different. They find common ground when struck with a surprise pregnancy and realize they also both continue to be caretakers to their younger (although adult) siblings. Navigating pregnancy with a two hour drive distance separating them proves challenging and they wonder how they'll be able to co-parent within the same confines as well. I was honestly wondering how it would all work out also. You'll have to read and find out!
I absolutely love the surprise pregnancy trope, so I was really excited to start this book and it completely lived up to my expectations. It was sweet, emotional, spicy, and full of beautiful character growth. I genuinely loved every moment of it.
This was my first book by Stacy Travis, but it definitely won’t be my last. I can’t wait to continue with the rest of the series, and I’m already hoping Chad gets his own happy ending.
I have never read this author before but I'm so glad I did! I loved it! It had so much going on. Familial complexities on both the FMC and MMC sides, the co-parenting relationship for the MCs, the plot about the water rights for the town. It had so much going and was still easy to follow and understand. Beautifully written. Hope there's more in this series!
4.5/5⭐️ Both Tessa and Fitz are not looking for a committed relationship but fate has a different plan in mind. As they get to know each other over their “friend dates” it soon becomes clear that what they share is so much more than just being co-parents.
I could easily envision how beautiful the small town was. And this was an amazing start to the Loveland Ranch series.
One night of freedom from responsibility, that’s why they wanted. Well thy got more than they bargained for and omg they are the best! This was absolutely adorable and so stinking cute! It is a slow burn but it’s worth it!
I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
What a fun new series and group of characters. Who doesn't want to read a cowboy romance riding off into the sunset stroy? But getting to the romance may just be one night only. Read this book to learn about this fun batch of sisters and their lives together.
A very cute, low angst accidental pregnancy romance. This one set up the series perfectly and kept me invested in Tessa and Fritz from the first chapter. A fun read!
