The editing, especially in the first half of the book is extremely sloppy. Chapters out of order or repeated with slight changes. Very frustrating. Luckily it got better and the story has me intrigued enough to give the second book a chance. Hopefully the next book has been proof read?

Comenzaré diciendo: ¡¡Que nivel de telenovelón mexicano nos regaló la autora!!
Creo que son varios libros sin embargo conseguí una version donde vienen toda la historia completa.
Más que spoilers vengo dejar ciertas notas
Entiendo que Nyla es una mujer bellísima, pero la obsesión de los hombres hacia ella me pareció un poco sacada de la película “There’s something about Mary”, todos bien loquillos por ella.
Solo el novio que la ayuda cuando desaparece después de caer por el acantilado es el único que tiene inteligencia emocional; los demás, incluyendo a Damon necesitan harta terapia.
No es que Damon no me guste pero si es bastante Obsesivo con ella y falto de claridad, sobre todo cuando aparece Rebecca.
Regresando a Nyla ¿por qué siempre rechaza a Damon aún estando en una relación con él? Las escenas que terminan en ellos teniendo relaciones sexuales fueron un poco incómodas.
También ¿qué onda con todas las inconsistencias y cosas inverosímiles de la historia?
En un punto se dice que a Rebecca la dejan paralítica y después ya camina como si nada.
Tom técnicamente no engaña a Valerie pero después dicen que si.
A Nyla la secuestrar un montón de veces pro en la última se atreve a decir que: nunca antes había pasado esto.
Masón es un genio pero los papás ni por enterados que es un súper hacker desde los 3 años y cuando se enteran no pasa nada con eso.
Hay muchos personajes relleno que nos regalaron un montón de páginas “paja” en el libro, dándonos muchísimos capítulos donde ni Nyla ni Damon estuvieron presentes.
La historia comenzó muy bien, fue decayendo con tanta cosa repetitiva (todos los personajes se expresan igual y tienen las mismas ideas de venganza) y el final fue exageradamente simple como el de una novela mexicana.
Pero es tan malo este libro, que me entretuvo.
Espero la autora ordene mejor sus ideas si va a seguir dándonos más historias.

I personally didn’t see any love story or romance in this book. I know that this is the first book in a series, but I will not be reading the other books. If you really want to be fanatical, the only romance was the infidelity of Nyla’s husband, Clark, and at the beginning of the book when she found out about the infidelity, she got so royally drunk that she went into the wrong room and almost had encounter with a man that she called uncle Damon. Fortunately nothing had happened and they both realised what they were doing before it was too late, but other than that it was just a book about people who tried to make Nyla look bad and people who had a grudge on her, making them look like fools at the end. Some people are so filled with vengeance and envy that they don’t realise that those things bite them back in the bum! I personally wouldn’t Recommend this book to anybody.

Didn’t get past 30%, the writing was awful, they go to see her dad at the hospital and her husband also calls him dad and then he is described as his father?
There is no depth to the characters, it jumps from one person to the other.
It was all over the place.
Couldn’t continue with it, dreadful.

Needs Editing
After several grammatical errors and chapters repeating, like chapter 19, I decided to put this book down. The storyline has some intriguing storylines, however there are definitely gaps in backstory with who some of the characters are.

So many grammatical errors and overall just didn’t make sense. I couldn’t even get passed like 10%. I wanted to love this
