His Blood, My Heart
Five years deep in this marriage, and I really thought I had it made. Carter stayed busy chasing money, and me? I keep a little mess on the side to keep me busy. My life looked picture perfect from the outside, but looks lie, and mine started cracking the day Armel, Carter’s cousin, showed up on our doorstep.
After that, nothing felt the same. The house that once felt safe started feeling heavy, the marriage I thought was solid started slipping, and the man I thought I knew started looking like a stranger.
See, I found out my husband is hiding something, and I need to know what it is. But the more I push, the more he changes, defensive, distant, and damnit, it pissed me off, but it's okay, cause while he’s trying his hardest to keep whatever it is from me, I’ve got my men on it. And somehow, it pulls me deeper into them.
So now I’ve got Chris on the side giving me what I want and Armel under my roof making me feel things I didn’t see coming, and I want all of it. If Carter can keep a secret from me, I can keep my own.
Because what’s done in the dark will come to the light, and once it does, it’s gonna change everybody involved. The only question that keeps me up at night is, am I the villain in this story, or did I finally set everybody free?

Edge of your seats
Let me start off by saying this book was so good a fast-paced read I could not put this book down at all. Chris kadia amel and dex carter is going to take you on one wild ride with the story and the plot twist it will have you thinking what can be the big secret that Carter is withholding. The spice in this book is a 10 out of 10. The drama in this book is a 10 out of 10. This book is going to have you at the edge of your seat
