She is also a freelance writer with an entrepreneurial spirit who has worked in the health care field for over two decades.
Danielle practices nutrition currently in Washington State. She works with a diverse clientele and conditions ranging from diabetes, hormone imbalances, and poor digestion to adrenal fatigue, and weight loss. Weight loss and the psychology of food is by far what she works with the most. Danielle is a member of The American Herbalists Guild, Nutritional Therapy Association, and the Association of Washington Business.
Danielle’s approach to diet combines nutritional science and the psychology of food and reminds us that looking at our psychological relationship to food is as important as the food itself. She utilizes many tools to help her clients self govern effectively around food and emphasizes that food should be enjoyed not something we feel guilty about. She advocates the importance of healthy digestion, blood sugar balance, mineral balance, and quality fats, and hydration.
Danielle loves learning about food and nutrition and sharing it in humorous ways. If a food can decrease gas, eliminate hemorrhoids, aid digestion, help with weight loss, or lower blood pressure naturally, Danielle can be found writing about it and sharing what she learns.
Danielle has volunteered her time and services to people in third world countries from Nicaragua to Indonesia. Her newest adventure into herbs and Traditional Chinese Medicine will continue to keep her busy learning, using, and sharing her knowledge.
In her free time Danielle enjoys spending time online with the Good Decisions community sharing what she learns and developing delicious, healthy new recipes. She enjoys swimming in the ocean, sailing, down hill and cross-country skiing, and checking things off her bucket list.
