I’m sorry but idk why this got so many 5 star reviews. There were a lot of errors in this book. Some grammatical and others just in the story line. They kept mentioning a niece and granddaughter but then said this baby would be the first grandchild. There were others but I just don’t care. I read to about 60% then skipped to the end. I don’t think I’ll be reading the rest of this series.

Tessa decides to be a surrogate but quickly realizes the couple she paired with are the all wrong. The hand she is dealt changes though when she is told the donor is not the right person and he is asking her to still carry his child.

Jasper is shocked when he finds out the deposit he made when on deployment have been used he wants to be part of it from the get go. Meeting Tessa he is hoping she feels as connected to him as he is to her. Trouble is brewing with a rival club though, will Tessa be able to accept his life as the President of the Sons of Rage or will they live separate lives raising their child?

Entertaining. Jasper is great, he could have been a jerk but he is really sweet where Tessa is concerned. Great beginning to new series.

I raged finished this book because I got to 70% of the way through and realised that this book was most definitely AI written at the the very least ghost written by multiple writers who didn’t read each others work.. Someone please for my sanity explain who the feck this “niece who almost died” is? She is mentioned so much in this goddamn book but never actually introduced.
Also how does one have a niece but then also being having the first grandchild of the family. It clearly says the none of the brothers have kids.
I really feel like they meant a cousin not a niece.

There is also some weird language around the bikie world and if you are an avid MC romance reader it will drive you bonkers!

Honestly I’ve never rage read anything in my life and god is hope to never again.

Save yourself the time it’s not worth it with this one.
Go read Paisley Hopes - Soldiers of Bedlam series if you want good MC romance it’s a million times better than this.

PS - if the author is reading this I want the 6cents that you made from KU back.

2.5 Stars. I got sucked in by the hot guy on the cover. Sue me.

Cute plot, but had some glaring inconsistencies. So much was made about this being the first grandchild. But then there was a niece… who was also a grandchild? Made no sense.

The dialogue felt weirdly juvenile for a 1% mc club ‘They want to test us, we’ll pull em off junky ass bikes and rub their faces in the mud’. Lol, okay bro. Don’t go too crazy there…. This being after a rival club tries to kill their VP.

Meh. Won’t be continuing this series.

A fun, new MC read.
I really enjoyed how through a mistake at the fertility clinic, these 2 strangers come together and start creating a life together, even though at the beginning nothing is certain except for a common goal of seeing the baby born.
Loved how, some characters were there to help and some seemed to be there just for annoyance qualities (Silver mainly).
Great story and loved the glimpse into their HEA.

Jasper (Sons of Rage MC #1) by Aria Ray completely blew me away! From the very first chapter, I was hooked. The story, the pacing, the balance between emotion, action, and chemistry — everything is perfectly crafted to keep you turning the pages.

Tessa and Jasper are two characters I absolutely fell in love with — and it’s been a long time since a couple hit me like that. Their meeting is completely unexpected, yet it feels like fate. Their relationship builds naturally, at a perfect pace, and every step of their connection feels genuine and powerful. The way they communicate, learn to trust each other, and face the chaos together was just chef’s kiss.

Jasper, the soon-to-be president of the Sons of Rage, is torn between duty to his club and the family he’s about to have. Seeing both sides of him — the ruthless leader and the protective man — was written beautifully. And Tessa… what a heroine! She doesn’t crumble when life throws her a storm; she adapts, stands her ground, and shows incredible strength.

There’s also a real threat looming over them, and just when I thought I had things figured out — bam! The plot twist completely took me by surprise. I didn’t see it coming at all, and it added an intense layer to the story that made it even better.

I read a lot of MC romances, and honestly, it’s rare to find characters this well written and a story this balanced. Aria Ray delivers the perfect mix of passion, loyalty, danger, and heart. Jasper isn’t just another biker romance — it’s a story that hits hard, feels real, and stays with you long after you’ve finished it.

**Lab Mishap!**

"Jasper" is the exciting first book in the new series "Sons of Rage MC," and it's such a fantastic way to kick things off! Jasper is the Vice President of the Sons of Rage MC, and with his dad about to step down, he’s ready to step up as President. But just as he's preparing for this big change, a rival MC, the Hyenas, is trying to take over their town.

Things get even more interesting when Jasper receives an unexpected call. Tessa initially became a surrogate to help her and her grandmother out financially. However, a big mix-up at the lab leads to a surprising turn of events. When Tessa meets Jasper, she discovers that he wants the baby just as much as she does. They decide to get to know each other in these unusual circumstances, and it turns out they have a great connection!

As they grow closer, the tension between the MCs starts to rise, and Jasper becomes determined to keep Tessa and their baby safe. I absolutely loved this book! It was hard to put down. Jasper and Tessa are such relatable characters, and the supporting cast adds so much depth to the story. There’s a perfect mix of action, suspense, and those sweet moments of brotherhood that make you feel all warm inside.

I can't wait to dive into the rest of the series, get to know the other members of the MC, and see how they each find their strong partners who will steal their hearts!

Sons of Rage MC

Wow!! I cannot believe Ms. Ray has done it again with an amazing beginning to a new series. This book has lived up to all of her other five-star MC books.

Talk about a fated love this definitely fits the category because Jasper has no idea that he about to become a dad by a woman he has never met. As much as I have read MC books this is a first for me with it being so original. Tessa who is caring for her ailing grandmother needs the money so when she becomes a surrogate, things take a big turn which brings Jasper into her life.

I loved every part of this book from the twist and turns, the drama and fated love. I cannot wait to read more from this series with it being set up with great side characters. I highly recommend.

This is the first book I've picked up by Ms. Ray, which I got through an ARC. The book started great and never stopped. It's action-packed from the very start, with the MC having to deal with rivals trying to push into their hometown. At the same time, Jasper is dealing with a surprise that would leave others reeling, but not him. It's something he has wanted for a while; he needs Tessa to agree.

Tessa has taken on something that's going to help her and her Gran out financially. But when things go awry, she can't believe the ultimatum she is given. Then she meets Jasper, who is completely different from the Whitmores. He may be a bad boy biker, but he treats her with more respect. Can she agree to the new terms he has laid out?

Both Tessa and Jasper feel the spark of attraction that has flared up between them. Can she be the one who can tame the bad boy, or does she want to? Can she be the quiet strength, the empathy, the one to take over the throne from Queenie?

While dealing with their attraction, the club must also contend with the rival MC. These upstarts will not take over their town; the Sons of Rage protect it from the cancer the Hyenas want to infect the town with.

I can't wait to find out everyone else's story in the future books.

Oh wow! What a fantastic start to a new series! If future books in the series are as good as this one…woohoo! This book has great lead characters in Jasper and Tessa. They’re brought together under crazy circumstances but they totally make the best of that craziness. The supporting characters are all unique and great too, I’m looking forward to their stories. This book is packed with action, excitement, sweetness…and it’s pretty funny….practicing non creepy smiles in the mirror…I can just see it. One of my favorite lines was toward the end of the book, “In my family, women aren't disposable. They're cherished.” Yep, lots of sweetness, even for a tough, alpha biker. Next up is Slate and I can’t wait to see what he gets up to and who tags along. Great job, once again, Ms. Ray!

SPOILERS!! So many discrepancies it became irritating.

Let me start by but saying I loved the story. But there were so many discrepancies that it took away from the reading. Was an unedited/unproofed version submitted in error? It also felt rushed. I've read a lot of Aria Ray's books and haven't seen this before. It was out of character.

Examples: Jasper is driving Tessa in her car to the clubhouse. When they get there , he swings his leg off his bike. Huh? In another, he removes Tessa's property cut and places it on the coffee table. She straddles him on the sofa. "His hands slide up my sides, under the loose edge of his cut still hanging from my shoulders." Again, huh? Is he Stretch Armstrong? It's on the table! You just told us!

There were also large holes in the story. It jumps from not having sex to Tessa being there for months. Later it's mentioned they had been having sex for months. But we didn't get the first time together we usually get. We don't get the emotional falling in love that we usually get. We don't get a lot of the relationship. She's there one day and soon shes the house mom. A lot seemed to be missing.

Jasper is the 1st book in the Sons of Rage by Aria Ray.

This book completely took me by surprise and blew me out of the water. And from the very first sentence I was completely enthralled. The storyline, the pacing, the balance between all the emotion, action and chemistry – it was unconditionally crafted to keep you mesmerized and turning each and every page.

I just fell in love with Tessa and Jasper. Their meeting felt like it came out of the blue and yet at the same time it felt like they were fated to meet and they were fated to be together. I loved the way their relationship built at a natural pace, and every step of their partnership felt genuine and powerful. They could naturally communicate, they learned to trust each other, and they managed to face the chaos of life and that surrounded them was just masterful.

Jasper is the soon-to-be president of the Sons of Rage. He suddenly finds himself torn between his duty to the club and the surprise family that he's about to have. I loved getting to see both sides of him – it was like seeing two sides of a coin – one side the ruthless leader and the other the protective man. Aria Ray did such a stunning job in writing this story and this character.

And then we have Tessa...oh Lordy...what a heroine! She had such courage and strength did this stunning woman have. She's intelligent, relatable, she kind of reminded me of both The Mystic and The Queen Archetype. She refuses to crumble no matter what storm life might throw at her. Tessa just adapts, stands her ground and continues to show just what an incredible strength she really has.

We also see the very real threat that looms over both Tessa and Jasper, and just when I thought Jasper and Tessa had things figured out just like I did – Aria laughed in our faces and threw this plot twist in our faces and that took me by a complete surprise. There was no way I could have seen that one coming at all and it just added yet another intense layer to a story that was already intense and honesty the twist just made it all that much better.

I've been reading more and more MC romances and I have to say that so far Aria Ray is up there with the likes of J. Lynn Lombard in writing a well written, well balanced story delivering the perfect mix of passion, loyalty, trust, danger, and heart.

I love how Jasper isn't just another biker romance, this is a story that hits you hard in the gut, it feels so very real, and it will stay with you long after you have finished.

I am so excited to dive into the next book of this series, getting to know the other members of this MC and I can't wait to see how they find their own strong partners who we know are going to steal their hearts.

Quote:
"So, you're saying," Mrs. Whitmore says slowly, her voice cold as ice, "she's carrying someone else's baby? Not my husband's? Not ours?"

Summary:
FMC is struggling financially. Her grandmother needs medical care. FMC decides to become a surrogate for a wealthy family. Yes, the husband and wife get on her nerves but she can handle that. However, everything changes when they are notified that the genetic material used was not that of the husband but that of another man. The couple want the FMC to get rid of the child and start the process over---this doesn't feel right to the FMC.

MMC had his genetic material stored because he was in the service and not ready to have children. Years later he is notified that his deposit has been used in error, and he is expecting a baby with a surrogate. He immediately steps us. But what happens when you find yourself falling for your surrogate? What happens when the MC that you are VP of is about to enter into a war? HEA

Review:
I really enjoyed this book. I read it in one sitting, and it is one that I know I will pick up again. The OW drama was not over the top and was dealt with quickly. The MMC made his intentions towards the FMC known and he didn't force it or hurt her in anyway.

There was suspense as we find out about the rival mc that is trying to invade the MMCs territory. I loved how the FMC accepted the MMC and his family. I loved that she was strong and intelligent enough not to fall for the OW drama. I was a bit surprised how that ended.

I look forward to reading the rest of this series.

I don't often read the blurbs of books before checking them out if it's an author I already read, but for some reason I did with this one. I kinda rolled my eyes at it and wondered if it would end up in my dnf pile, it just seemed too over the top. So color me surprised to see that this premise worked for me, it didn't seem too fake, but real and I liked how Jasper and Tessa rolled with things. Both of them let their feelings be known. Jasper wanted this baby, he would take over the surrogate parent part, since his genetic material was used by mistake. He didn't judge Tessa for being a surrogate, her reasons were sound to him, helping a family member, but if she wanted to keep touch with the baby, that would be good too. On Tessa's end, she didn't judge Jasper for being in a MC, she took the time to get to know him and the club. These little things started a foundation for them to build on. The more time they spent together, they realized there was something more there and they went with it, always talking about things along the way.

The talking was important as they moved their relationship along, especially with Jasper's role in the MC and the next step he was about to take. Because it wouldn't just be him that takes on more responsibility, it would be the woman at his side that would too, which Tessa pointed out to him.

The drama at the end was crazy! I was glad that they figured things out and did what they had to, to protect things. Liked to see how this one ended, the threat gone (for now) the club with new leadership and Jasper and Tessa building a life together.

Thought it was pretty good

Overall, I really enjoyed the story. I thought the plot was strong and I enjoyed the characters. There are a few things that bugged me. I felt like it was a little too heavy with inner dialogue. I don’t wanna go three or four pages without interacting with other characters. Which means it could’ve been a shorter book as well, which I think would’ve worked better.

I also really didn’t like Queenie. The whole Silver situation and how she kept wanting to give her chances was really just annoying. I think that you show you’re not a very intelligent person when you keep trying to save people who don’t deserve it. There are plenty of other people out there that deserve help and you don’t keep giving resources and effort to people who don’t deserve it, which is exactly what she kept doing with silver.

I also wanna address some of the other really negative reviews saying this was an anti-abortion conservative book. I’m pro choice and I did not interpret it that way at all. The whole definition of being pro-choice is that women get to choose. This woman was offered the opportunity to terminate and she said absolutely nothing negative about people who choose to do so she just said she didn’t want to do it. Hence the definition of being pro choice. So I really don’t think it’s fair for any reviewer to go after the author for that. Those are just some really negative people who want some kind of validation because they think any accidental pregnancy should be terminated. Again, this was a strong book and most of the reviews say that as well.

If you’re craving an MC romance that grabs you by the throat, squeezes your heart, and never lets go, Jasper is the book that delivers all of that and more. Aria Ray launches the Sons of Rage series with a story that is gritty, emotional, explosive, and unexpectedly tender—proving that even the roughest men can love with a loyalty that’s deadly in its devotion.

Jasper is raw, gripping, tender, violent, hopeful, and utterly addictive. This isn’t just a romance—it’s a story about fate, found family, second chances in the most unexpected form, and the kind of love that demands courage.

Tessa and Jasper aren’t perfect, but they are perfect for each other—and their journey will stay with you long after the final page.

If you love MC romances with heart, heat, danger, loyalty, and a man who would start a war to protect what’s his—this is the book you absolutely need on your shelf.

Why Jasper Is a Must-Read

✔️ Explosive MC action
✔️ A couple whose connection feels organic and fated
✔️ Real emotional stakes & honest conversations
✔️ Brotherhood moments that make you warm inside
✔️ A heroine worth rooting for and a hero worth swooning over
✔️ A twist that elevates the story from great to unforgettable.

This is the first book of this series but this club was introduced in an adjacent MC series by the author. I was excited to be able to see these characters in their home MC. He froze his swimmers when he left for combat duty and pretty much forgot about them until he gets the fated phone call. Her grandmother is sick and needs treatment so she agreed to be a surrogate for a wealthy couple to pay for those treatments. She is shocked when she finds out the mistake that was made and when the couple wants her to start over, she is upset until she shows up. He is determined to step up for her and his kid. This is actually a really sweet story, he goes all in on her and their baby. His MC is a family affair and everyone is ready to embrace her. She has never had anything like it or this big biker that seems ready to make a family with her. There is some MC drama but this one definitely is definitely the foundation for the MC family and building the base as a strong family unit. I can't wait for the next story in the series. The author does not disappoint.

This is the first in the Sons of Rage MC, Rock and Queenie were met in Tusk's Fury, Savage Legion MC. Jasper is their oldest son, VP of the club and due to take over as Pres when his father steps down. Jasper froze his sperm before a deployment in case he never made it back. He never expects five years later to receive a call that there was a mix up and they were used in error and a woman is pregnant with his baby.

Tessa agreed to be a surrogate for a couple, to help pay for her grandmother's medical bills. When they use the wrong sample, the couple wants her to terminate but she is not having any of that. This is how she meets Jasper.

This is a slow burn, but Jasper is all in and has to wait for Tessa to come on board. But when there are threats he has to move her into the club to protect her.

Jasper is a big softy when it comes to Tessa and the upcoming baby. There is danger around the corner and Jasper and his brothers will have to work together to protect the club.

Looking forward to the next in the series.

2.5* Enjoyable but the mistakes are endless. Missing words, incorrect words, and whole sentences that didn’t make any sense, and plot mistakes.

There are parts that I enjoyed but to be honest I found it a bit boring for the most part. The mistakes are horrendous. Missing words, incorrect spelling, and the wrong words used, that’s without the plot mistakes. The s* x scenes are boring as well. The war the club is fighting with another Mc drags on and on with nothing happening till near the end.

Tess is three months pregnant as a surrogate when they find out there was a mix up and she’s been impregnated by a stranger. The egg was Tess’s as the woman was infertile so Tess donated her eggs. Jasper is the VP of the Sons of Rage Mc. When he was in the army he froze his sperm, and had forgotten about it till he gets the call telling him about the mix up. Jasper is a boring character, sadly. He’s hot on the cover but his character is dull. Him and Tess don’t really laugh or joke, when they’re having s*x it’s dull and boring. 🥱

Parts were enjoyable but I haven’t been left with a feeling of a good book read. I will read the next one.

Sweet romance, but so many avoidable errors

Seriously, HOW is Tessa and Jasper’s baby the first grandkid when Jasper has a niece that’s mentioned multiple times?! WHOSE NIECE IS THAT???

The number of references we have to Tessa being pregnant with the first grandbaby while also hearing constantly about Silver getting Jasper’s niece kidnapped had me wanting to rip my hair out. And that’s just the most obvious of the errors in this story.

There’s things like Tessa needing to do surrogacy to pay for her grandma’s MS treatment one minute then saying she’s paying for her grandma’s care home the next (and I don’t want to hear it about that being part of the treatment plan because she mentions the state covering the costs of the care home earlier in the book).

Timeline errors, plot holes, random characters that don’t fit into the story. Honestly, I loved Tessa and Jasper’s romance (the only reason this earned 3 stars), but it was way overshadowed by my brain constantly flagging the errors. Seriously, is this AI? I never really think that unless the author clearly uses it in other ways, but this felt like AI.

A gritty, emotional new series opener that balances raw MC edge with heart-grabbing family stakes.

Jasper grew up in the life — leather, loyalty, and legacy. As the son of the club’s president, he’s being groomed to take over, but fate has other plans. A single phone call changes everything: he’s about to be a father. The only problem? He’s never met the mother.

Well now, freeze some swimmers, in case there's a glitch while in the army.
Survive, come home, return to life with my family, immerse myself in the family dynamics of running and being part of the MC.
And then wham! find out someone is carrying your child after a cockup at the clinic!
What's a guy to do except step up and protect his child and that's what Jasper does.
Tessa was trying to help her gran with costly treatments and thought she was making good progress in the only way she could by being a surrogate until there's a snag!
So Jasper and Tessa come together in the most unusual way, when he found out this stranger was pregnant with his child,
And from there I was hooked.
There is chemistry that zings both ways and it develops from there aided and abetted by Jasper's family, the extended MC. There was strife, there was danger and it just all came together in such a way that I now want to read the next book..

I picked this book for 2 reasons. First, I needed a fast, easy, read that wasn't as dark as the last book I read. Second, I liked the concept. Surrogacy gone wrong.

I got exactly that.

The story, while predictable,  was a quick, easy read with some spice. I loved the opening concept, but there were several missed opportunities and the plot felt incomplete at times. It was predictable which disappointed me. Characters were introduced early then forgotten until the end, which made them feel like an after though. The main characters were alright but I didn't feel like they were completely written.  After finishing the book, I felt like the story was lacking somehow. It starts off as a romance then switches to focus more on the MC part. I feel like it could be more well rounded. This is a series, and I might read another. Overall, it wasn't bad, just lacking. I'd recommend this for someone who likes sweet romances but is just getting into MC romances.

I enjoyed this story

Jasper, the MC Prez’s eldest son, had some sperm frozen while in service on hazardous duty. A woman, seeking a way to provide $$ for her dear grandmother’s care, decides to get paid for carrying a couple’s child…only they have to use her eggs since his wife’s eggs aren’t viable. OOPS! The medical facility made a mistake. Instead of the husband’s sperm, they used Jasper’s sperm. And she is pregnant when they find out about the mixup.

Jasper and the woman make a deal for her to continue being a surrogate for Jasper’s baby. Many things happen afterwards. A romance blooms, a rival MC causes trouble, a traitor is discovered, a major battle occurs between two MC groups. It is a good read. Recommend this book. There is an HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. This made me want to read more in this series. Now onto book 2!

This biker romance starts off with a fun and unexpected mix-up, and it sets the tone perfectly for the rest of the story. I personally enjoyed it a lot — there’s plenty of authentic biker-world atmosphere, but also a strong focus on character development and relationship dynamics.

The characters are wonderfully well written, especially the female main character. She absolutely owns her space, stands her ground, and is anything but a pushover, which made the romance even more satisfying to follow. The world building is richer than I expected for this genre, giving extra depth and making the whole story even more immersive.

Overall, it’s an engaging read from beginning to end, with excellent characters and a plot that keeps you hooked. I truly enjoyed it.

I like this author and storylines. The characters are strong, determined. The outcomes are how you want them to be but not without some difficulty.
How this couple meet is unusual and despite this, they seem to fit immediately irrespective of their situation.
Jasper is ex military and President of Sons of Rage MC. Tessa is a surrogate but the clinic has made an error which has created problems. Using his forces knowledge, training and experience, Jasper's decisions are based on the need to protect and to pursue success. A leader of men , especially when the rich and rivals create issues that have to be controlled, to overcome to protect and prevent all and everyone. A romance set against adversity that no-one expected.

Love can be a sneaky devil

Tessa and Jasper-an unlikely couple. She struggles to take care of herself and her grandmother. Deciding the best option to save her grandmother’s health is to be a surrogate for a wealthy family. Jasper is the VP of the Sons of Rage MC. He’s part of a family legacy where his dad is the MC prez, his mom Queenie is the MC Queen and his brothers are part of the MC. Tessa and Jasper meet when the fertility clinic makes a HUGE mistake. They match Tessa’s egg with Jasper’s sperm instead of the Whitmore couple she contracted with to have their child. And that’s how they meet and discover they’re perfect for each other. Naturally, there are ups and downs and little misunderstandings that make the story interesting. And of course a good MC romance always needs a protector, a jealous club girl and a rival MC to keep you on your toes.
